I love this place. They have everything you need and more, please don't leave without visiting the Medora Convenience Store, the people there is awesome, really friendly and funny, also they have the best homemade breakfast sandwich you can try.

Definitely not your typical convenience store. What a gem! Their breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious, their coffee is great, the overall atmosphere is great.

Its the only option in Medora and a bit limited on choices. The 50 cent charge to use a credit card is not common as far as I know, but when you are the only option in town you can get away with it. As a random note, they still have gas pumps with the analog numbers spinning on a wheel. Young folks may be amused.

Went two days in a row for a quick lunch at the make your sandwich counter. Cheapest and quickest bite in town. Yes, gas is more than area but this is not unique to other middle of no where gas stations. Yes there is a credit card surcharge, this no longer unique as more and more business are doing this.

Requires to pay inside, regardless form of payment. After leaving credit card, there are two lovers that have to be activated at the pump due to the age of the pumps. There is a 4% surcharge on any credit card. Use as well. People are efficient but not particularly pleasant.

Very rude guy working the check out. Surcharge for paying with credit card and even then he acted perturbed to run my card. I don’t recommend. They should just adjust prices to account for the credit card processing.

Hi, As a Canadian I strongly recommend this store.. people are amazingly nice and very helpful and knowledgeable of surroundings. Thanks again because of you guys I didnt have to drive 40 minutes for Propane and now I can enjoy the rhum that I bought from you 😋 take care 🇨🇦

We drove into Theodore Roosevelt NP and got a nail in our tire. Turned around and went to the store, just outside the gate. We were greeted by the very caring and helpful owner. It was raining very hard at the time. She suggested a few people to call but it was a Sunday. Long story made short, when the rain let up and we were trying to change the tire ourselves, she came out and was on the wet ground getting wet and dirty with us. We finally got it changed and then she drove us over to get more air in our spare.Talk about above and beyond! We could not have been disabled in a better place!

A little bit of everything. Prices are not bad. Lots of gifts.I didn't get to make my own sandwich from the make your own sandwich bar, but it looked pretty awesome.Hilight was the north Dakota shaped cribbage board.I also enjoyed the local salsa for sale. Very very tasty!The place was very clean, even in the bathroom.The employees are extremely and exceptionally polite.

I live in North Dakota about 3hrs out. Never in my life have I met someone behind the counter so rude. I’m used to small towns not having much choices beer or snack wise. The woman that checked me out was terrible enough to make me not want to shop here the next time I take a trip out. I’ll make the drive to Dickinson. Those of you traveling here, most North Dakotans are nice folks. I hope you don’t judge us based on the lady I met today.

The whole town is so cute and this little store was a little treasure chest of goodies! What a fun atmosphere. Everybody and I mean everybody was just as friendly and bubbly as could be. They had a a little bit of everything shirts, hats, funny signs, home decor, jewelry, cups, baked goods, lotions, drinks, custom knives, candy, scarves, souvenirs, etc. Make sure you stop here when in Medora!

Stopped for gas. It’s the only game in this tourist trap town for gas, and they take advantage of it. One price on the pump. A surcharge inside for paying with a card. Total rip-off.

Cute place. I wish I had taken a picture of the gas pumps from the 1970's. Reasonable gas prices for being away from any big city. Good home made breakfast waffle, egg and sausage sandwiches. Polite happy clerk.

As the previous people posted, the woman behind the counter was abrupt to the point of rude. She was so busy having a loud conversation with other workers that helping customers seemed to be quite an inconvenience. Obviously they have gotten used to preying on visitors that have no other options and could care less what we think.

This was the only place opened in town to buy some water etc... The prices were decent and you can find a lot of things in the small store. We were glad to find it to get some food and water.for the road. They also make homemade breakfast sandwiches which looked good.

Thankful for this convenience store! They have a good variety of food, drinks, and snacks! Medora is very lacking in food options. It's nice to have options at this convenience store for when restaurants are full and/or won't serve you.

NOT a grocery store despite the sign on the roof. It’s a gas station with a mini booze store and snacks and a gift shop. You can’t pay at the pump you need to go into the store. Only 2 cash registers so it can get very slow since the gas buyers need to pay indoors. Friendly staff and they sell mini cheesecakes which is always a plus.
