Was excited to see they had cooked racks of bbq ribs like you can get at sams club. Was not very excited when i got home and they were rock hard, dried out notices they were 5 days old... waste of $16. Bought a few things that fit in the basket also and was over $60

Plenty of parking. Very good selection or merchandise. Isles clearly marked, easy to fond merchandise I was looking for. Very enjoyable interaction with the staff. I thought the prechopped salads were a particularly good purchase. Store was clean and well lit. It took me just a few minutes to find everything that I needed.

It's a nice store but it suffers from what all Dan's Supermarkets suffer from: severely high prices on any item that is not on sale. I am all for supporting local businesses when I can but some items here are double, to even triple, the price of that same item at other stores. Most items are only marked up by $1.00-1.50 but when purchasing a week's worth of groceries, those little mark-ups add up extremely fast. As mentioned previously though, if the item is marked on sale, it is typically a lot closer to the MSRP of that item. Convenience/proximity to the location are the main reasons I would consider purchasing items here.

The digital coupon kiosk was out of order. Ok. There was a sign on it that said cashier will apply coupon to product. Ok. I show her the product in the add and omg, the crabbiness appeared. No one could figure it out, everything was priced wrong. Things that they said was half priced, were doubled in price. And they treated me like it was my fault.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The selection at the Mandan location is not that great. They also have 3 self checkouts and every time I go there, they only have 1 self checkout open. Kinda frustrating. I live in Mandan, but I always drive over to Bismarck to do my shopping there.

Today was the first day of the weekly sale sheet and as usual a number of items I would liked to have picked up were not on the shelves or in the meat and dairy show cases. As much as I like this store this happens to me all too often. Being a disabled person it frustrates me to no end that this happens on an almost regular basis. They need to have people restocking during the day and not do it only at night. When I do ask, I am told there isn't enough help during the day to do all these things. It just is very frustrating for me.

Brief stop there few days ago.I used Dan's restroom, then to pastry and then coffee aisle.Checkout lady was nice,Didja get everything? She inquire.Coffee. I said.Coffee? She replied? And rang up totals.I am on EBT and VA card compensation / disability / pension.And $0.21 for Coffee. But Coffee from deli is not EBT. She said.No EBT? I realized, and my 3 cheap bags of ground Coffee and 2 sweet dairy flavors for the Coffee were my purchases. I was going to walk away and leave the grocery stuff.Bewildered why my items were not EBT.Another gentleman in line help sort things out. Thank you sir. Thank you.I had never gotten nor touch anything near deli area except for my pastrys.Checkout lady thought I had declared an Coffee cup in deli or store and consumed it.No worries. All good. My EBT Card transaction went through.Miscommunication happens. That day, was my fault. No one else.I was driving my elderly mother and 2 teens and I am Navy Parachute Rigger and Army Infantryman Veteran.The FOG of PTSD, of these experiences, these events, the stress, can rise and fade and surface more and fade.With me, I hate Driving now.And the tinnitus rings in my head constantly. Veterans know.Didja get everything you need sir?It doesn't register with me sometimes.But please. Rest of you, stay normal.Be yourself. It helps anchor us.Thanks Dan's. We are here 1 month a year. Last year we used Dan's and laughed about how unfriendly the cashier's were. Guess what, still unfriendly this year. I will still use because it's so close & it's only 1 month. Maybe I can make the smile.

Friendly staff for the most part. Very expensive though. Its only a few blocks from me but I will only shop there when I need a few things due to the prices. No real meat counter either, so you can't request special cuts or anything. Neat and clean store, pretty good deli.

They fired me for being handicapped! If anyone knows when they're being discriminated against it's a person who's been handicapped for 45 years like myself. Both the new and old ownership wanted to know nothing about it. Both never responded to my calls, email, etc

This place has definitely improved since the ownership change. Their product is better and the employees seem friendlier. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the prices are significantly higher then the surrounding competition.

Not too bad of a store if you don't want brand name items! Ever since they got bought out they have less and less brand name items in their store. Our family and value time is not the same as the brand name products.

I think people mostly just walk into what's convenient and close. Like this crappy grocery store. It's an over priced joke. Prices aside, they almost never have what you want. You can find mold regularly growing in the meat cabinet and outdated stuff on the shelves. Produce is sold at the price of gold but yet most of it sucks and lacks flavor. Instead of being reasonable and selling things like bell peppers, which are so abundant, they would rather ask $3-$4 a pepper and watch it rot on the shelves. They offer a postal service in the good name of US postal but have complete idiots behind that counter who almost always have a scowling look on their faces and don't actually understand how postal service works. Way to go Dans! Sh*tting on society one day at a time.
