Had one of the best burgers I've had in quite a while. Highly recommed the Viking burger! My husband had the special, a Korean rice bowl, I think, and was impressed. Very pleasant waitress. Quite prompt wait time. Really liked the atmosphere, much more family-friendly than a lot of the bar/grills in the area. Will visit again!Kid-friendliness: Decent kid menu options. It's not a bar like atmosphere, which I appreciate!

I am not usually much of a breakfast person, but I had zero complaints with their breakfast buffet. I do not care much for eggs but I was absolutely delighted to see there were plenty of other options aside from just a plate full of sausage. One of my friends is a vegetarian and our entire table of 5 people were all well beyond satisfied. I loved that they had cottage cheese, most of our table was hyped on the yogurt options too. I personally loved that they had some hot sauce available, that literally and figuratively, spiced everything up for me. We would definitely, and likely will, go again despite it being a fair amount out of the way for us.The service is good and everyone is very friendly. Everything was prompt and very enjoyable.On my second visit I arrived about 20 minutes before they start serving lunch. While seating me they said the kitchen was fine with making anything from the lunch menu even though it was early. Great service!If you're looking for some great local small business food options, this is absolutely a place you should have on your radar.

Kindred spirits in Kindred, who are very kind is what you'll find in the Uptown Eatery.The carb lovers breakfast was great. Eggs scrambled just right, ham thick and tasty and the waffles were delicious. I like that the syrup came in glass pouring container, not individual servings in little plastic containers like has become the norm elsewhere.Great take away hand made treats, too.

Biscuits and gravy (with extra gravy). Perfect. It was perfect. Drizzling some of their homemade sriracha on it was the finishing touch. I sincerely appreciated Morning Glory, but the atmosphere and the coffee have both significantly improved and I cannot wait to try more things on the menu—if I can ever not order the biscuits and gravy. I am so thankful for this place and will be back frequently.

Love the full smoker buffet on the first Tuesday night of the month. Rocky does some great meats on the smoker. The Sunday breakfast buffet is also very good, especially the biscuits and gravy. Every meal we've had here has been great. Great staff and owners. We are local and usually have breakfast here once a week. We don't need to order because Sarah knows what we are having when we walk in.

Excellent small restaurant with good menu selection. On the day we dined here we had the German meal special of schnitzel, spaetzle and buttered carrots. The food was absolutely delicious and the price and service were outstanding. We would go back and already recommended to our friends and family. We have not eaten other foods at this restaurant but would think that if this meal was this good other sandwiches etc would be great.Parking: Parking is in front and was adequate when were there for lunchKid-friendliness: Saw kids eating with parents
