A week ago we spent two nights at the San Way Ve. As others have noted, Sandy is refreshingly honest and personable. Our stay was brief but we definitely appreciated the cleanliness of our room as well as the reasonable cost. Finally, she makes a darned good pot of coffee available in the office. Something to be said for small town hospitality. Gotta love it! Thanks again, Jim.

Stayed at this motel Woke up to itching all over all night seen big rat running all around the room went to use the bathroom found a used Condom in the bathroom sink room wasn't very clean I would have been better off sleeping in the middle of the high way will never be returning to that place again the owner is very nice for as bad as the place is run down toilet would not flush roof leakRooms: Bathroom ceiling late toilet wouldn't flush showerhead was messing. They were extremely accommodating when we needed to stay last minute. They're pet friendly and really nice. The rooms are clean and not humid or dusty like you would find at a super 8. For someone with allergies, it was nice to be able to breathe clearly. The owner was absolutely wonderful. 5/5 stars, would stay here again if I was in the area.

Long term stay (healthcare worker) During the week it is oky to very nice place.to stay. I'm in corner. Share an outdoor door with 2 rooms next to me. On weekends they lime to put people in the rooms next to me that are super loud and drinking the whole night. No time to sleep for me. Even if rest of motel are empty I sit in middle of 2 rooms with people yelli g and screaming as they talk to each othet the whole night. Try to stay away from this place if you need to work on weekends.

I brought my Microsoft crew up here for one week for work. This was the only lodging available in this area and I sure am glad it was. The owners of this place are the nicest people you will ever meet. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Totally awesome experience here and I would definitely recommend staying here. You will love it.

Affordable, super clean, and the amenities are great. I got a kitchenette style room- Bring a lighter for the oven (RV style stove/oven), nice deep sink, huge shower, garbage can, large fridge and freezer, coffee maker, 2 comfy beds, wall-mounted flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, fridge/freezer. Comes with cups, plates, pans, pots, dishrags, but you might want to bring a sponge. There's a sweet grocery store less than a mile away. Just a neat place to stay, I would stay here over and over again!

This was and absolute fantastic place to stay. I stayed here for a little over a month while working in town. I am a traveling electrician for a industrial electric company and finding places to stay can be a drag. The people that work here are super friendly and the prices are more then reasonable. If you are looking for a place to stay to go hunting, ice fishing, work or just traveling through, this is the place for you.

I want to sing about this motel; it is a really good find. It is in a cute little village and used by a lot with oil workers but not over priced. The motel itself is not modern, but the rooms are really clean, really cosy and have great facilities like a fridge, microwave, cable and good wifi. There is plenty of parking. There is a good pub near by called Beer Bobs, where you can have a drink, eat and play darts. The owners are really lovely.Just put your "do not disturb" sign on the door if you are staying later, as the cleaners are extra keen.

Great price. Pet friendly. Clean. On site laundry was a life saver after our puppy peed on my wife. Friendly and accommodating staff. If I ever find myself in Kenmare again I would definitely stay here.

This is small motel run almost like a bed and breakfast. The owner Sandy is a sweetheart, you couldn't ask for a nicer person. The rooms were recently renovated, warm and comfortable. This is the place to stay if you are in the area.

The San Way Ve is a good size motel considering the small town and sparsely populated part of the state it occupies. The couple who run it are very friendly and attentive. The motel has both kitchenettes and normal rooms, and the kitchenettes are much larger than I expected and are furnished with everything you may need. The motel is located a couple of blocks off the main highway in Kenmare, ND.
