Horible experience and what i witnessed. Never have I seen managers yell at their employees like that. Some things should be left private. Not only that but employees are under trained and not very helpful. They would rather stand around and talk about drugs with each other then learn about what they sell. Prices are fair and store was clean but whoever runs this place needs to work on things.

Awesome place as always. Usually have what I’m after & in a few different options. Most of the staff is pretty decent & don’t mind helping you. There are a couple different ways of getting into this location making your flow of travel much smoother. So far so good with the place. No complaints.

HORRIBLE store...don't waste your time. Bought water heater that lasted less than 2 years. Flooded basement so ran down late one evening and grabbed new one. Installed and good to go. Manufacturer said it should be covered by warranty but Menards won't honor. Went down on weekend with faulty one to square it up but didn't have receipt S changed debit card so they say can't lookup. Had card account printout to Menards and datw but still wouldnt help me.Told if got proof of pur hase they would help with warranty. Week later got proof of pur hase and go back and now wont uphold warranty as they say newer one is bigger and more expensive so won't honor warranty. Apparently they want you to buy same garbage so they can duck out on another warranty when it breaks in less than 2 years again. Pathetic store!!! And of course no way to get ahold of live person on a weekend from corporate.

Was at front desk customer service to pick up my order to go. The guy was extremely rude. Told I had to drive thru service gate in back of store to pick up order. Very disappointed with curbside pickup. They charge you $14 service charge. Items were ordered on line this morning. Items were not even ready to go at 6:30pm. Had to go in physically to pick up two small bags. Will not be coming to this Menards again. We’ve been having such bad service at the Jamestown Menards. There employees are not trained very well and front customer desk should have someone nice to great you not rude.

It's ok except for their business model everything is a mail in rebate and takes up to 8 weeks to get. Not everyone can afford to layout money and wait 2 months to get it back. Just give us a discount without having to do things that businesses did 20 plus years ago. Get with the times.

Six Menard's employees impressed us today! Jerry in building. Was wonderful. A man at the help counter went above and beyond to find a product. I thought he was done and I continue shopping. He found me and directed me to what I had asked for. The man at the return counter found me and gave me my car keys. Another man loaded folding chairs. The man was so helpful loading blue board. All wonderful attitudes. Please thank them!

The staff at this location is always helpful when needing to find something. The store is clean and easy to move around. The return policy is good. No veteran discount like most stores in there field. Menards has low brand selection and treats their employees very poorly. For that reason, it is usually the last of the big three home improvement stores I go to if I have the option.

Such a great environment! Love the smell. I buy everything here. On Saturday I even took a nap in a comfy recliner, but someone asked me to leave. I was just trying out the product! Not mad though. They will continue to receive my business!

There used to be something called good customer service, and here I though it used to be excellent....... But nowadays, I guess that's too much to ask for, we bought a new smoker in the box about a week ago. But when we opened it up, it was bent on the top but there was no damage on the box. Called and let them know, and asked for a discount and they said no, it's already left the store and it's been a week.

Went in to get parts to make emergency repairs to watering systems and more insulated gloves. Employees had positive attitudes and were a pleasure to deal with !!!

Ordered a delivery and they passed the blame onto the "delivery" service. They ask me to unload the delivery truck they loaded 100s of pounds of material cause they didn't bring a forklift or extra guySo moral of the story don't get delivery from Jamestown ND menards

It was good until we were checking out and an associate came up to me and said they don't allow dogs unless they are service animals and walked off. She never let us explain that he is a service dog! I find it very crazy that the lady at the front door never said anything to us about him, she said hello to our pup, and we talked to other associates through out the store and they never said anything to us. We will not be back to this location.We still have not received our stuff for him showing he is a service dog because of COVID19 (plus he's still in training) but have a civil conversation with people and don't just assume things! Because I could have easily showed you on my phone his documents!

Just left the Jamestown store....ordered a gazebo they had advertised this week from a staff member. No result. Went and found them myself on the upper level. It's heavy. Loaded it on a cart and pushed it to the elevator. Button on elevator must have a malfunction. Left the gazebo on the cart in front of the elevator. Told 3 or 4 staff people about it and they said either they or someone else would bring it to the front of the store for me. Was in the store 2hrs and 15 minutes. At checkout there wasn't a gazebo in sight. No one knew anything about it. $300 some $ they wanted for it. Think I'll get material at a more helpful store here in jamestown and build my own.

Found everything I needed. The pineapple bird feeder I was interested in was sold out & an older gentleman told me I could order it. Then Jordan at the hardware counter ordered it for me within minutes. Great experience at the Jamestown Menards. Will definitely be going back there!

There's one thing about Menards, and that is they almost always have what you need and generally some choices. This time I needed a new dryer. No run around, no "it will be a couple weeks ". They had several in stock and ready for pickup. The best part? Not just in stock but best price period for the one I bought and that was before the 11% mail in rebate. Hassle free online purchase, Hassle free and quick pickup. I reckon that's the reason I shop for household items there so much.

Last week I bought two respirators and forgot the bag. Came back in a few days later and told them what happened and they went out of their way to check the security tapes from that day and told me to go grab two more! Awesome customer service. Thank you!

Very poor service. Say they cannot sell to you unless you have a mask. But will sell a mask which makes absolutely no sense. Much better service at infinity building in Jamestown and very reasonable. Will no longer so to menards ever after the poor treatment. And lack of common sense.

The new young employees are very rude, and not helpful. I had one guy not help and didn't even care. Then I pull up to pick up an order in the back and am told go get it yourself. I had to call the manager to get someone to show me where I was supposed to go.

A long walk through the store to get 2 things, but the price was worth it and there was plenty of parking. Plus, during the winter they keep thier parking lot clean of snow so you don't need 4-wheel drive to get in and out of the place .

As for someone who has breathing complications I went in without a mask and one of the employees told me I needed to wear a mask and purchase one if I did not have one. I explained I cant wear one and my right not to wear one and he continued to tell me that they will refuse service to anyone who will not wear a mask. I'm frustrated after having a full basket of items to buy and then being told that I would be refused service because I simply can not wear a mask even though Hipaa privacy rule makes a difference. It doesn't to them. I ended up walking out with nothing.

Summer of 2016 went in to purchase materials for a deck. Used computer program, worked great. Staff was very helpful from planning getting material, getting it delivered, and returns. will shop there as often as we can!

They make you wear a mask, which is fine if you like your rights violated, but then they charge you for one. Great job showing your customers how unappreciated their business is, freedom hating extortionists.

Love having a Menards here in Jamestown. It usually has what I'm looking for. Helpful service as well. When they first opened, I brought in a can of paint to match but they just couldn't get it. Walmart did a better job. I'm not sure if Menards has gotten better.
