My wife and I used Hugoes for our wedding cake and when the wedding day came, the cake was nowhere to be found. I had to call them to discover it had slipped through the cracks and hadn't even been started. They ended up bringing some random cakes just so we had cake to give to our guests. Cake's were not the flavors I ordered and were not decorated with the decorations I had dropped off. The manager of the bakery was extremely apologetic and kind, however the GM of the store refused to give us a full refund and we ended up settling on a 50% refund. You get one wedding day and that's why I feel the need to cation people about my experience. When we look back on our wedding day, when the cake gets brought up it will be overshadowed with disappointment. Had the GM been more interested in making it right, I'd of probably stayed off google.

I ordered a meet and cheese tray earlier in the week but when I came in to pick it up, it had been missed and wasn't assembled yet. The lady and gentleman working dropped everything and whipped it up in no time. I totally understand and hey, I've had days like that too so I want to tip my hat to them both for rockin' it. Keep up the great work and excellent customer service!!!!

I stopped and asked to have a prescription transferred to the pharmacy from an out of town pharmacy. The employees behind the counter told me 2 hours, so I went around town running errands. I returned 2 hours later at 1:00 pm and was told they couldn’t get ahold of the out of town pharmacy. The OUT OF TOWN PHARMACY is closed from 11-11:30 for lunch. I called the out of town pharmacy at 1:08 when I returned and was told Hugo’s White drug had just called and got the prescription transferred. It’s 1:32pm so I wonder how long I have to wait now? Probably another 2 hours!!!!!! There are seven employees behind the counter and it seems odd that it took 2 hours to actually get a prescription transferred. I get if they have 2 employees, but seven???? Seems a little dropped the ball to me!!!

Was asked to wear my mask properly rudely by an employee. I had pulled it down to communicate with my 2 young children, and was not within 6 feet of anyone. He walked into my circle and rudely yelled it at me.I will never shop there again.

Great rates on beef and all the aisles are very tidy to where you can see the organization of what you need in order and the staff is very helpful if you can't find something. Also there is a convenient medication store within and a bank attached to the other side

I just got done getting some groceries at Hugo’s and had the nicest guys help me when I was done. Ethan is the one that rang up my groceries and I think the one bagging was Raul or Paul. Very friendly and honestly the best experience I’ve had @ Hugo’s in a long time. Ethan mentioned tomorrow is his 17th birthday. Very nice kids!

Well stocked and good fresh food . Deli counter is slow to serve. Often only 1 person working and hard to notify. Bell or doorbell might solve the problem with that. Great customer service otherwise and good pharmacy.

Very good selection, most of the staff is friendly though my last visit was with a rude checkout clerk. Prices are not always the best. They do carry a lot of niche items. Do not recommend curbside, the service seems like an afterthought, I received an order with the wrong items and expired items.

I just had an interview with Richard, who is currently the store manager of Hugo’s Market in Jamestown, ND. I can’t believe Hugos Family Marketplace would have people like him who does not have work ethic and respect to others. He was rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. He didn’t greet me, he left me behind to take me to the second floor and when I finally got to the conference room to be interviewed, he aggressively pushed the chair towards me. Then, he started to put a bunch of excuses to not hire me. This lady named Jerri, who interviewed me a day before wanted to hire me for the position. She was so nice to me and respecful that she even said that she would love to have me on the team. Hopefully, this comment will go to the corporate manager of Hugo’s Marketplace. Richard shouldn’t be at the front of a business where customer service is the main priority.

Sue, I believe her name is. She works in the deli. I cannot believe how rude she is to the other workers. It isn't just one time this has happened. No wonder you all can't keep anyone in that deli. I wouldn't want to work in such a hostile work environment. Something definitely should be done about this lady. Absolutely unacceptable.

Very rude to my friend with COPD. Manager told him that no exceptions were made for masks and that he had to leave immediately despite breathing problems. He was not even well mannered about it. I'll be bringing him to Walmart in the future.

I worked at Hugo's Jamestown ND for a week in the deli.it was too overwhelming for me and when I asked for change,the only suggestion I got was if you won't work in the deli,we don't have work for you.from corporate and manager. Even though other people and departments were pushing for me.not very family or friendly. I don't believe I will shop there anymore either.i am in recovery and they didn't think that mattered as far as what they expected me to do. It's sad because I really liked Hugo's until now.

Over their stupid policy of having to check your bag at the front counter, I've outright quit going there. I don't have a car, and there's no way I'm leaving my $1200 MacBook Air in a $90 backpack there when half the time it's sitting right there on the counter and not behind it where anyone can take it. I go to Cash Wise instead.

Logan was a very professional cashier, I was in a hurry and needed a price check and I was a little rude but Logan stayed professional during the whole experience, would definitely shop at Hugo's again! Sorry Logan for my rude attitude

Had a friend lose her keys and NO ONE helped her find them. Every time she went to an employee they either walked away or said they couldn't help her. I'm very disappointed because this is a great grocery store. Customer service was at an all time low today.

I was recently in here getting diapers but had to pay rent and screen shot my reciept. One of the employees walked up to me and in a rude accusatory way asked " why are you taking pictures?" i told him im not. He said a customer saw you doing this taking pictures. I showed him my pictures and told him what i was doing. He said im sorry, im just doing my job. I told him next time to ask not accuse and dont be two feet from my face. Be discreet. Dont take pictures in hugos i guess. I will not be back.

Best in town! They also have a caribou coffee located inside. If I want a steak for grilling I go here. They also have great macaroni salads already prepared!

I have shopped various stores in the past 3 years and can actually tell when I have cooked a cut of meat that has come from Hugos. Tender. Juicy. Even my husband notices: "This roast must be from Hugos."

I had a mask on and glasses.i went through self checkout.glasses were fogging up .so I pulled mask down for seven seconds to clear my vision .what happened as follows is pure hatred from the girl who publicly humiliation,and sarcastic verbage.sge also approached me from a creepy position .I will not have a young threatening teenager humiliate me .history as a teacher has proved that this social behavior will expound .may God have mercy on all of us .
