Update: 4 years and a move to Minneapolis later - my initial 5-star review still holds strong and If I could give 10 stars, I would!Dr. Dawn’s Pet Stop is by far and away the best vet I’ve ever been to. Even though we don’t live in Jamestown anymore, I make the trip back for all of our pet’s vet visits.

I'm very happy and pleased that our dogs are under Dr. Dawn's care. Our previous vet of 15 years, retired earlier this year and we were really concerned about how Avery and Kaylee would react to a new vet. On our first visit, our concerns were immediately relieved as soon as Dr. Dawn came in the room. She was friendly to us and affectionate to the dogs as she gave them a thorough examination. We just had our second appointment this week, and everything went well. Blood tests were taken, came back quickly, and we discussed the results... which were good. The technicians were awesome, hugging and comforting our dogs while they took blood and trimmed their nails. There was a very positive atmosphere throughout the clinic. The techs said they love what they do and working for Dr. Dawn... a very good sign for owners who love their pets.

Have Ben in twice for two different animals for urgent care needs and they worked us in and took good care of our babies. We see Dr Dawns for all our pet health needs they are so loving and gentle with our babies and take good care of them like their own. Nothing but good experiences!! Dr. Dawn is the best. Taking my rescue dog to the vet is always quite the struggle but she and her staff are always kind, patient, and caring. Prices are always low, and she doesn’t push for any extra tests and is up front about what is worth it or not. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I'm crying the most joyful tears writing this. You guys are amazing. Quick, efficient, and SO LOVING. My puppy needed her leg amputated. Dr Dawn's entire staff was so helpful. They got my puppy in within 24 hours of me calling for surgery even though I wasn't a current client AND answered my questions happily the three times I anxiously called them during healing. Other healthcare people I have as friends and family also commented on how good the sutures looked along with how it was healing. Thank you. You guys are working miracles and it is very appreciated.

Taken my dogs here for a bit now but has only ever been for shots. Always have been great staff and super reasonably priced, too. Took my dog today for being sick and Dawn was super friendly and listened very well. She is so smart and ended up finding out what was wrong with him right away. I couldn't have been more impressed by how attentive, quick, and friendly they were the whole time. Will definitely be keeping this place as my pet's vet.

I drove an hour and a half to have my cat seen by Dawn to have her blood checked while she is recovering from FIP treatment. Everyone was very nice and they didn't make us leave the room while they took blood which was amazing! I'm used to having my animals taken to another room and it always stresses them out. The drive was definitely worth the visit. We'll be using this vet from now on.

I can't say enough about Dr. Dawn! Today was one of the worst days of my life, my best friend of 17 years had fallen sick and rapidly declining. We had a sad day of having to put our 17 year old dog asleep. The manner and care she showed was excellent. Very humane and caring for both our dog and us. I have her do things with other animals and have always had great service. I'd recommend Dr. Dawn to anyone.

Best experience I have had with any vet. My pitbull was having some issues and the other vet we took him to wouldn't even look at him until we paid $400 of the $800 they wanted to charge us. A friend of mine told me about Dr. Dawn's and I called after work and talked to them about what was going on. I explained the situation and she even stayed open until I was able to get there. My dog was seen right away and the staff was super friendly. Plus the cost was way less then what the other vet wanted us to pay. Glad we came here and we will be back in the future.

Dr.Dawns staff I have to say are some of the nicest and most professional people you will meet having acquired midnight my dog from my mom I didn't know how he was going to react around other dogs so they took that into consideration and made it the best visit that they could for both midnight and everybody else I still feel bad for him peeing on your counter 😅😅😅 and I offered to clean it up but the staff said don't worry about it it happens all the time I highly recommend dr. Dawn's to all the pet owners in the area and if you're not in the area

We had a dog that seemed very ill when we got home from work. It was after hours and Dr. Dawn offered to meet us at the clinic and see what was wrong. Within 20 minutes our Maggie was in very good hands and well cared for. This is not the first time our family has had a pet emergency and Dr. Dawn has always been extremely willing to go above and beyond. I would give her 10 stars if I could!

My pet was sick on New Years Eve and required veterinary attention. I live in Fargo, I called at least 10 vets here with no options. I then called 7-8 in Grand Forks with no options. But, when I called Dr. Dawn's Pet Stop in Jamestown she was kind enough to book an appointment in between her appointments because she knew he needed to be seen. Extremely nice, and a fraction of the expense from veterinarians in the FM area. We're also very satisfied with the quality of care we received.
