Never open. When they are, if only for certain hours, not until 10pm like stated on the website. The people of Hillsboro depend on DG being open because of the lower prices thwn the grocery store in town. Honestly, if you can't find ppl to work there let's either find the reason why ppl dont won't to work there or close the store. Figure it out DG cause getting off work and finding the store closed everyday is an inconvenience to me and to every person who lives in hillsboro, nd!

Many aisles are consistently full of unpacked merchandise in carts and totally blocked. Food aisles and seasonal items are generally open.

Finally, after almost four months, this issue has been resolved!!! The district manager eventually returned my multiple calls/messages and sent the card. If I ever shop there again, I will definitely make sure to check my receipt before walking out the door. I believe in shopping local, small town businesses whenever possible, but if they don't take care of their customers and fix their mistakes without a monumental effort forcing them to do so, it makes it difficult to want to go back there to spend my hard earned money.Update: I was contacted within a couple of days and told by District Manager Pam Casey (may not be spelling her name right) that she would send a $15 gift card for my troubles. My gift card never showed up, and I have reached out to her via phone and text messaging several times with no response. Apparently taking care of their customers isn't a priority!I was charged twice for a $9.65 item and am given no way to remedy the situation without driving 12 miles one way in 20° below zero weather, to get a refund. When I call the phone number on my receipt, there is an automated answer system that tells me to call back another time because they are busy with other customers. Not even an option to leave them a message! There were at least two employees working when I was in the store, so I doubt someone cannot answer the phone every time I've called over and over and over again. Their website doesnt even have another way to contact them, other than sending a Facebook Messenger message. I wonder if I'll even get a response? I shouldn't have to drive to Hillsboro and back to get a resolution.

I drive a semi and deliver to Dollar Generals everywhere. I like the store. It always has everything i need for on the road. I practally built a kitchen in my truck all brought CD ro. DG.
