I love my groomer and I love how nice the facility is! The staff is always so busy and that makes me know they are well utilized in the community and people trust their expertise. From small animals to large ag operations: these people are your go to! We use them for both our pups and the staff is usually so kind and relatable- it makes it a nice experience! Also- the 24 hour dog washing station is super neat! For those of us that don’t have a place to wash the pups in fear of them shaking all over the place after words- this is a great option! Lou hates the dryer but he looked so good afterwords!

Cheapest Vet I’ve ever been to, and staff all are extremely friendly and professional. My dog got fixed (was like $220 and all the other vets quoted us $400-$600) and my dog had some unusual body movement after the anesthesia and they called us RIGHT away. It was also super quick! Definitely recommend!!

My 6 year old Great Pyrenees was diagnosed with aggressive osteosarcoma. I took him down to West River Vet Clinic in Hettinger to get a second opinion and discuss my options for treatment. The staff there were extremely caring and informative. I chose to keep my big guy comfortable on pain meds until it was time to let him go. When that dreadful day came, my family and my Oakley were graced with so much comfort and care. It’s been a struggle losing my Oakley. Yesterday I got to bring his remains home, and they had given me charms, a card, his hair, and an impression of his paw print as a keepsake. I do not live around the area but because of the level of care I was given I won’t take my future fur family anywhere else. Highly recommend the team at West River Vet Clinic.

Stopped in here without an apointment while traveling on a bird hunting trip. They accepted us without an apointment and said it might be an hour wait. We were done and on the road in 50 mins. Staff was extremely nice and competent. One of the most reasonably priced vets i have been to!

My boy got diagnosed with epilepsy last fall. West River has been so good to him. They go above and beyond to make sure he is healthy and stable. I will never take any of my babies anywhere else!

The front office staff and the veterinarians are wonderful people. We had an emergency on a Sunday with a dog and the vet met us there and she worked on our dog. They took excellent care of our dog. We are very pleased with everything they did. They managed to save our dog's foot and leg. Snow thanks you ladies! 😊

This place was recommended to me by a friend and wow! I was impressed! Even though I had to drive 80 miles it was SO WORTH IT! The vet was fantastic, the entire staff was great and it was immaculately clean. Every step of the way in the treatment of my dog was very clearly explained: what was needed, how it was done, what to expect both good and bad and what it would cost. When I walked out of the exam room to the front desk to pay it was exactly the amount the vet told me it would be and my little dog was all fixed up! This is probably the best veterinarian office I have come across in many years and I would recommend them to anyone.

We pulled out 2 RV's into your parking lot around 7 pm on Saturday evening to get out of the wind for a minute and have dinner. Our plan was to eat and move further on down the road to Aberdeen to see our grandchildren after dinner. However one of our coaches which is less than 2 years old wouldn't start. We called roadside assistance and were told they could not help us until Sunday. We weren't worried about being in your HUGE lot overnight because we knew you were totally closed. Sadly Sunday morning the sheriff said the owner of the clinic called him and wanted us moved off their lot. We explained the situation too him and he was very nice. We told him we would move the one we could. One of the staff at the clinic came to check on the animals being boarded there and she could have spoke with us personally, but they chose to call the law enforcement. Well I want to thank the owner of this place for being such a good Christians and just in general a kind person. Hopefully you never break down in your travels but if you do, I hope you find better humanity than we did. We did not leave any sign we had ever been there. We did find help to get us back on the road by noon on Sunday so I'm positive we caused you no harm. I hope you are better at helping animals than you are at helping people.

I've taken my dog here for everything from minor surgery, to grooming, and regular check-ups. We've always been happy with the care he receives at WRVC. The dog washing station is ideal for waterfowl and upland hunters. Having a place to take your dog and get them washed up before going home is an awesome service.

My wife and I came off a pheasant hunt on Saturday after noticing significant blood in the stool of our lab. We are staying in Hettinger and called the emergency number and reached Dr. Johnson. After describing the situation to him, the doc and his tech came in and examined Cody. His thorough diagnosis was spot on and after a rest day, we will be back hunting. Nice folks!

Hands down the best vet clinic i have been to in my life...the staff is amazing and the vets are incredible they are always looking out for your best intrest not just for your animals but your wallet as well. I travel 90 min to see them and would travel 2x that if i had to, exceptional service!

Very well organized. They have a 24 hour 7 days a week Clinic. They have a boarding house for animals. Also have a full staff. Can also had a large animals. Easy to get horse trailers in and out.

They take excellent care of my pups, and answer all my questions in an easy to understand way. They also carry a good selection of leashes, collars, and food! They are also very affordable.

The Vets are all very knowledgeable in their areas. Have 2 for livestock, 1 for horses, and 2 for small animals.Carry a good inventory of food, small animal toys and accessories.They also have all the needs for regular vaccines as well as any that might be needed for sick animals.They know most all their customers by name.

If you live in Southwest North Dakota take your animals here. They have helped us with so many of our animals including a horse that we eventually had to take down to doctor Ismay in Sturgis. Great staff and I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. Plus we also have them come down to test bulls and bangs heifers etc. They're great. They did surgery on her bluetick coonhounds back leg or a ligament had torn loose. They did a great job on her too.
