I honestly didn’t know places like this mom and pop style of diner still existed today. 13 of us construction guys walked in and despite not expecting us. We all had our drinks within 5 mins, our food was being served over the next 15-20 minutes and everyone enjoyed what felt like a homemade meal. Nobody walked away hungry. They even had a choice of two pies, which was fantastic. The price was reasonable with our meals costing around $12 total with drink. Definitely worth the drive to check it out for yourself.

Fantastic old school place to enjoy a meal and talk with the locals. When they heard my accent all of us had a good laugh. My first time there Nancy was my server, a woman with a heart of gold and a great personality. Spoke with the big guy in the kitchen, didn't get his name. He wasn't lost for words. My next time I have business north of the border I'll be sure to make time to drop in.

Excellent small town experience. Wonderful food and terrific service. Portions are plenty and prices are reasonable. We had a great time visiting with everyone in the cafe this morning. The owner, the server, and every customer was engaged in conversation. It is definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch. A+

Great little breakfast spot. Seriously downhome, rural cafe, solid offerings. Not a huge menu, doesn't need one. Daughter and I got the hunter special and it was perfect size to fill the belly until lunch. Coffee is good black coffee. Our waitress, Patty was AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY. I called her ma'am as I was taught in the Army, her response was "I'm not a ma'am, I'm a Patty!" Absolutely insisted on us calling her Patty. Coffee carafe was never even close to empty, and I half expected her to sit down with us and share the talk of the town. We were crushed that they were closed Sunday morning when we went back the next day. Definately going there every chance I get during hunting trips to Hankinson.Parking: Parking lot is a dirt flat spot in front of the cafe, no lines but not chaotic. There was handicap spaces up front though.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp into the building.

If you have a chance to check out this Comfort Food Cafe, you will be in good hands. Great lunch specials and kind staff.Open 6:30 am to 1:30 pm weekdays generally for spring & summer hours.I'm a meatless breakfast person, and eggs, toast and hashbrowns was perfect sized.Bonus: 2 blks away is excellent hardware store (Post's Hardware). Worth the stop. Corner lot is newish Hardware Hank store.

Places like this make me love small towns. One of the best blueberry pancakes I have ever had. Omelettes were also very good. The one issue was that the hashbrowns left a little something to be desired, but portions are HUGE and even when you're full you want to keep eating. I'll definitely return here when I go back to North Dakota!

This is a great motel, we have stayed in many hotel/motel rooms. Our room was cozy & clean. I enjoyed the furnace the most, we usually stay in a room that has a seperate heating unit, it is loud , and turns off & on throughout the night.Our room had central air, it was quiet.I would stay at this hotel again.The hotel owners are the friendliest people you will ever meet.Thank youThe Lucero familyFrom Williston, N.D.

Always good food great service and a wonderful staff will go back .Make sure you're there before 2p.m. and closed Sunday but well worth the moneyJust there 8/15/22 now sad to say closed on Saturday and Sunday hours are 6:30-1:30 never had a bad meal there and lodging is very desirable if they have a room sorry to say only 9 roomsParking: Ample parking Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessibility is good

Our favorite breakfast spot when we are camping in the Hankinson Hills camp grounds. :) Staff and services is excellent, and they have plenty of food options from the breakfast menu alone. Highly recommend!

I am one of there vendors and really love stopping here treat me like family and there cooking is serious comfort food. If you ever come through I suggest stopping for a bit to eat the "Tonka" is delicious.
