it pays to shop local, these guys keep it local by staying involved with our animal shelters, it’s easily the best spot in town for pet owners. Everyone who works here is SO friendly and so passionate for animals, and it shows in the natural / high quality products they bring in. NO complaints, i just wish they had another dog washing stall! its soooo convenient being able to bring my dog here for the bathing, drying, and nail clippings! And he loves to pick out a treat afterwards! I will ALWAYS recommend this place!

A nice pet store that prioritizes quality over quantity. They had a fair amount of high quality food, treat, and toy options for your pets. I love that they had a freezer and refrigerated section for fresh food and treats. They also have a decent selection of collars and leashes including martingales which I find difficult to find in some pet stores. The staff were helpful and kind.

We have been going to TPL for several years, it is our favorite pet store for our dog. Staff are kind, helpful, and friendly. They offer healthier brands, have unique toys that are different from other stores, and have natural products like flea and tick collars and sprays. Our dog enjoys shopping there and being involved in all the events they offer throughout the year. We highly recommend and look forward to our visits!

I love knowing that no matter what I purchase in this store, it won’t have rawhide in it. The staff are personable and professional and take time to help/give guidance on products that will benefit my Boxers. My favorite thing at TPL, is the self service bath! I love having full access to a professional bath that has steps up into it before securing my pup safely inside. They provide a plethora of grooming tools, shampoo products (or you can bring your own- I use flea/tick shampoo but still use the vast array of post bathing coat products). There’s a grooming table w a safety connection on it. Towels, a blow dryer and ear wraps….and clippers… so many useful gadgets! They clean up the bathing suite once you’re done using it (Out of respect I tidy it up, but leave the rest. It’s wonderful not having to worry about sopping wet heavy towels in my washer machine at home, or having my pet run wild around the house after a bath at home, and getting the furniture etc wet). This is a long post, I think it’s good feedback for customers to know this is a great asset. The bath suite is only $15.00. If you have an anxious pet, the staff can help you find a product for that so the bath isn’t so anxiety provoking. Our dog had a rough few moments during the first time but quickly calmed down. The 2nd bath was much more relaxing.There are specialty Toys, balls, and so much more! They have raw and healthy food choices for your pet. TPL also supports Journey Home Animal rescue (JHAR). They are a collection site, as well as having products you can purchase that go to JHAR. TPL has great parking right up front. It may look small from the frontage road, but it’s the perfect size to shop w your pet, bathe your pet, or get advice regarding what’s best for your pet! You can get cute cards, and stuff for your car, and I could go on. Because of their knowledge I’ve avoided two trips to the vet (Urinary Tract Infection; the snout brand of cranberry and cranberry blend drink w Tumeric and other ingredients to kill the bacterial infection our Boxer had). Go check out TPL! Pets on a leash and well behaved are welcome!!!! It’s a gem.

Me and my pup LOVE treat play love. My dog gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They have so many great toys, treats, food, chews, and accessories. The staff is so nice and gives a treat to my pup when we come in. 10/10 for this small business.

My dog is sooo picky! I was of course a little hesitant to buy him new treats but they were so cute I couldn't help myself. So glad I did. He loved them all! The donuts, cookies, baked goodies etc.I do wish they had more selection of "need" items like a tie out line which is why I was there in the 1st place. I did have to go to another store for that. But I will definitely be back for treats🐾

Very knowledgeable staff and awesome owner who knows her stuff. They have a great variety of dog and cat supplies. The dog wash is also convenient when your dog gets a little muddy. Throughout the year they have themed sales and different incentives for new and existing customers. Around Halloween is one of their biggest sales because that's when the store opened.

The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The quality and variety of treats, food, and accessories are such a nice change from the typical things found at the chain pet supply stores. In terms of price there is something for everyone. You can buy a 49¢ dehydrated duck heart for your cat or dog. Or splurge on a beautiful $5 cookie worthy of a birthday photo.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, they took the time to walk my girlfriend and I around the store and explain the differences between various products to us, as well as make recommendations in regard to healthy rawhide alternatives for our miniature daschund. They allow pets in the store which is great if you need to have your pup on hand to try on a dog sweater. Also, they were very generous with healthy treats for our boy!
