Stay and Play is definitely the best. I use them frequently for boarding and grooming for my shy and timid rescue dog. They never have any problems and know exactly how to make him feel comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough

Our first experience wasn't bad. The dogs seemed happy, so when we planned another trip, we set up boarding for our 4 dogs again. This round made our decision to never board here again.The four dogs were requested to be boarded together. They are large dogs, but tend to cuddle. We come back to find out they boarded the separately in 2 kennels, which cost us a lot more than we were expecting to pay. When I brought this up, the manager stated that she called me last time telling me they were separated. Neither my husband nor I recall ever being told they were separated. This is not what I booked and not what I signed for when I dropped them off.I requested a bath and nail trim for only our male dog. The females have a special shampoo to use for their fur. When we picked them up, all 4 had been bathed and we were charged for 4 nail trims. The baths were free because they were there for 5 nights. My husband went back in to ask why they did the nail trims and found out that some one had forged an X on the girls' paperwork (My X is unique and the X on the paperwork looked nothing like mine). We did get a refund for this.While they do mention that drop offs after 1pm have a late fee, we had not seen this information. A $25 late fee for dropping off after 1pm...not picking up....dropping off? We dropped them off at 4pm and were charged the full day boarding rate and an additional $25. That makes no sense at all.Driving up, I came in from a different direction and the property next door looks unkempt and not inviting at all. It didn't really make the rest of the property feel very inviting. The manager wasn't friendly and was pretty rude and annoyed that we had complaints. We will stick to other boarding facilities in town

I absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone knows my daughter’s fur baby by name. Every time we board her, we have assurance that Princess is well taken care of! We now board our new pup and look forward to his fun future endeavors at Stay and Play! Huge kudos to all staff - thank you for all that you do!

When I came in from out of town I wanted to give my puppy a break from traveling so I took him to doggie daycare. Since my son was in a baseball tournament I decided to try this place out. I was not disappointed. Max loved it here! He played with other dogs and even got to play in the doggie pool (he loves the water). The staff were very friendly and took great care of him. And the price was surprisingly reasonable! When I come back this way I will definitely use them again.

Stay and play does an awesome job with daycare, boarding, and grooming. They are able to trim our younger dog's nails with no issues. I do not know which groomer works with our dogs, but that person does an excellent job! After our last vacation, they came home all clean wearing new bandanas.

I have taken 2 of my dogs there for years. Maxie has only been boarded there twice since we got her and she loves it there. It is so nice being able to see how she is doing on the webcams that they have.

This was our first experience boarding our dog. It was great. They were fastidious with the vaccine requirements to protect all the dogs. You can bring toys and things for your pup and at the end you get a report card showing how each day went, with eating, sleeping, playing, and more. If you stay 5 nights, they'll throw in a bath for the dog. We'll be back next time we have a trip!

We left our 2 labs while we went on a week vacation. Our older lab hasn’t been boarded often and is very high maintenance (spoiled).I cannot say enough good things… the boys came back with bandanas, baths and full bellies!Thank you so much for caring for them and us not having a care in the world while we’re away!

The only place we've boarded our two dogs and they love it! I love the option to purchase extra things for them and absolutely love the reports we get when we pick them up!! It's a great feeling knowing our dogs are taken care of.

I thought I read enough reviews for this place before taking my dog. Then read some on Facebook as well and was SHOCKED. I took my dog here TWICE. First time she was ok. And the second (last time) she was so lethargic and wouldn’t do anything. Keep in mind she is a lab and always has energy. She’s constantly running around and happy. They said she had been “great all day”! Comes to find out she has kennel cough. Which I don’t blame the place for, but they will NOT tell you if your dog was sick while being there. I have read multiple reviews about dog parents who have said the same thing. There has been multiple times peoples dogs have gotten kennel cough from this place and this place only. We tried calling and letting them know she has kennel cough (for them to tell other parents). They were extremely rude and practically hung up on us. I would NOT recommend this place. Please take your dog to a different daycare/boarding place in town.

Pet boarding in Grand Forks is tough! I usually go to Wag-n-Train, we've had really good luck there, but they were booked.So we tried Stay &Play again, it had been many years since we tried them, because one of dogs always came home with pink eye. But we thought that must be cleared out there by now. We dropped off 2 very healthy 12 yrs dogs on Saturday June 11th, 2022.We picked up on Monday June, 13th 2022 at 8am, they weren't there very long.One of the dogs already was throwing up when we picked up, she said.That dog spent the whole day Monday throwing up and diarrhea. My other dog had diarrhea as well. Tuesday still both dogs with diarrhea and now my other dog is throwing up.Neither are eating, 2 very sick dogs!!!I don't recommend them at all!!!!

Oh my goodness! This dog mom’s heart is so full. Our little Sassy girl (2.5 toy Yorkie) stayed at the Pet resort and WOW she was so loved on and made so many new friends. She is so excited that her momma and daddy are home but can’t wait to go back and see her friends soon.Thank you everyone for loving our baby girl!

I recently moved to Grand Forks and have taken my 14yo Terrier to Stay and Play for an extended stay. They took great care of her! In fact, she was so excited to go back again for a daycare playdate, so they are doing something right! I feel good knowing she is happy there.

Thank you for taking care of our Koda while we went home for Christmas! I love that they post the pups on their Snapchat and I could see my pup having a great time with the other dogs! We were even sent home with a cute report card for her time there. Thank you to the entire staff! Very easy to book her boarding and the staff followed our directions for her prescription food and even had the option for a bedtime treat :)

I have used their services twice for my cats. Both times I've been very impressed. They gave one of my girls her medication. They followed the instructions about not approaching or speaking to another one of my cats, and they made sure not to put my three girls with other cats or dogs. They aren't far from my apartment, & I will continue to use their services when needed.

My wife and I have used Stay and Play several times for daycare of our 4yr old yellow lab. Every time the staff had been very pleasant, sincere, and caring. It’s nice to know there is a place where our pet likes to go. Other nice little things about Stay and Play is the entrance, there is a set of double doors so if your pet is shy or over excited you can stay in the entrance while others already inside are being assisted.Needed to add an update, our 4yr old lab recently was boarded at Stay and Play and the experience could not have been better. Thank you from a owner of a tired dog.

My dog absolutely loves this daycare! The staff is super nice and well-trained in dog behaviors and how to handle them. We have been to Woof Dah and Adogo before but Puppy Play and Stay is so much better and my dog has a lot more fun at this facility. My dog always comes home tired and happy after a day at daycare.

Brought my dog here for an overnight stay. The staff were all very nice and I loved the report I got when I picked him up so I knew how he did while he was there! Very nice facility and reasonable rates. Definitely will use in the future if I’m in Grand Forks.

I've been bringing my dog here for three years now whenever I travel for work or vacation. I've always had wonderful experiences. Customer service is fantastic - the staff always remark how they love to see my dog come. Staff are always observant and have even alerted me to a weight-loss that I didn't notice when I had him on a different food.

We love to bring our pup here to burn off energy. The staff is great and we have never had any issues with Jack getting into fights. If you plan to kennel, book early, as it fills up well in advance. Same for daycare, but 48 hours is usually sufficient.

My dog Lucky goes to daycare Monday thru Friday. He loves it out there. All the girls that work there are very friendly n polite. He also gets his nails n bath done out there.

We have been bringing our dogs to Stay and Play for several years. They have been absolutely wonderful with them! The staff is great - always very friendly with us, and our dogs love them. I would definitely recommend Stay and Play for boarding and grooming.

We called stay and play pet resort and spoke with their receptionist a month before we were planning on boarding our dog. We discussed his vaccination records and we were told that there were no issues and we can drop him off for boarding. Then we toured the facility in person and handed all the vaccination records to one of the employees at stay and play. Again we were told that we can drop off our dog later that week for boarding, there were no issues.We had our friend drop off the dog prior to our scheduled vacation. This time Stay and play told our friend that they cannot accept our dog because his vaccines were not up to date. We were surprised when we found out. We had to scramble to make alternative arrangements because our flight was departing within a few hours.We will not be boarding our dog here in the future due to the above experience.

Our dog would always prefer to be everywhere with us, but he also really, really enjoys his time at Stay & Play. He plays hard and gets taken care of real well. Never apprehensive about pulling up-- more like he's going to the dog park to play with his canine buds.
