Our girl Indie LOVES it there. We originally took her elsewhere for daycare and after two days, we had to stop because you could tell she didn’t like it. We decided to try Red Hydrant and it was a night and day difference. She is incredibly excited when we pull up to the building and she makes sure to let everyone know she’s there, ready to play! She is also snoring by the time we hit the EGF bridge and sleeps good when she gets home! Staff are incredibly great to work with and have been helpful with any question or concern I’ve had. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thanks for all you guys do! ❤️

Marvel would go to daycare here when we lived in Grand Forks. They were always great and excited to see Marvel. He would always be so excited when we pulled up and would come home and sleep for hours. We don’t live there anymore and he’s definitely going to miss it!

Red Hydrant is the best! The staff is wonderful! From the grooming to boarding, I have always been very happy when I pick my puppy up. One time I even booked the wrong weekend (which I don’t recommend) but they fit her in and didn’t say word to me until I realized it when I got home. I can’t say enough good things about The Red Hydrant! Thank you for providing exceptional service!

If his excitement when we pull up to the Red Hydrant is any indication of how he feels about being here, I'd say he loves it! And he's totally wiped out for a couple days after. He looked great after a bath and grooming. We won't go anywhere else! Thanks to all the staff!

Love the RH! They take such great care of my dog, Lady, when she goes to daycare once a week. The staff is super nice and sweet along with being approachable and helpful. Would not go anywhere else in the area!

Love the Red Hydrant. They take such good care of our little man. He loves it there. Callie's grooming is absolutely amazing. We have been having her groom our dog for quite some time now, and it is always fantastic. We have a fancy dog, and she always makes him fancy. 20 out of 10 highly recommend.

Had a great experience, we feel the space is very well maintained and staff did a great job. Liked the email updates. Loved the picture updates. You have to use Snapchat for pics, which isn't my favorite, but we made it work.

I boarded my dog Boomer at Red Hydrant while I went on vacation for a week and they were incredible! They send daily report cards and if you follow them on Snapchat, they post so many videos and pictures of the pets! Check in and check out went very smoothly and the people are super kind and you can tell they love animals! Boomer came home happy and very tired from all the playing that he did! I will definitely be boarding there again!

Callie McShane is an amazing groomer and by far the best we’ve ever had for our two pups. They are both senior dogs, she completely “gets” them, and is so gentle with them. They always look and smell amazing after being in her care! I couldn’t recommend her ENOUGH!

Very disappointed with the inconsistency in the grooming, the first time was great, my dog (who they had nothing but good things to say about his compliance) looked well groomed…the second time around, scheduling was a mess. The “grooming” looks like something done with kitchen scissors, you could just as well save yourself the $90 you spend on a full grooming service and do the same quality of hack job (blade marks, spots that were completely missed, no bother blending)Called the establishment, and no response or effort to make things right so looks like I’m out $90 + whatever it costs to have someone do it correctly. I’d give less stars if google allowed me to do so.

We attempted contacting the establishment after our last experience with them and did not get a response back. We have paid for services for our 3 dogs at the Red Hydrant for over a year until this October. We had no issue until October 30th, 2023. My husband went to pick the dogs up and could hear staff in the grooming area. A staff member (referring to one of our dogs) stated: “I didn’t cut the nails on that dog. The freak out session was real. The dog peed literally 12 times on the table.” We have told groomers in the past that one of our girls especially needs more patience, and no concerns were brought up to my husband when he picked them up. He noticed the groomer(s) were aggressive toward dogs and making unprofessional remarks within earshot of customers. We were very frustrated with the service and the lack of addressing any issues. Additionally, we were charged $70 more than we normally would pay. We truly had no issues before this, but my husband was upset enough after this visit that it made us switch service providers.

Updated a new review:They reached out to me immediately and explained everything. Changed from a 2 to 5 star. I do appreciate the urgency and care. I will still keep an eye on my boy, but sounds like he played hard and really exhausted himself. I'm sure a couple days of power sleeping will get his old self back again. We will be book with them again!Brought our pup into their establishment for a 3 night board. While signing him up, I had a lot of difficulty with the website. It was probably my lack of tech ability but it never updated when i made changes. Ended up having to call and stop in to confirm what we had to do to secure a spot for him. I had clear instructions for him, food twice a day to maintain his weight. 6 bags. Gave them pig ears, which he loves, and a couple big bones to keep his anxiety low while in his room. I also asked the girl who took him if they can add a grooming to his stay since he was shedding so bad. She said absolutely we can do that. Never told me to update his account and request it, and nothing was added to our bill. I would of if i was told that was the proper way to request it. When we picked him up, they did not groom him. He doesn't seem like himself. They didnt feed him two of those 6 measured bags. All of the pig ears were there also, and they never opened the big treated bones for his room. If he was losing his appetite, a report should of been made. If anything happened, I was not informed of it. There was nothing but a few pictures (which we appreciated) in his reports. When I asked how he did, I got a shrug and he was "fine". His first time at a boarding kennel and he's a puppy, I want to know how he did.When we got home within 2 hrs, he puked. Today (31st) He acts very sore when he gets up and down, little to no appetite, hasn't wanted any water, and wants to sleep. We will see how he does these next few days, but something isn't right with him. I hope he is just extremely wore out from all the playing and got along with everyone.2 stars because they kept him alive. I'm just giving my honest feedback based on this whole experience and the way my dog looked and is acting like now.It is what it is.I was so hoping this was going to be a better review. If they do try and reach out to me and make it right I may change my review.Would I take him back, at this point? I don't know. Maybe. But not for as long a stay as we had to. Im all for supporting small businesses. And I know our first experience can't set how we feel about them. We will probably give them another chance.

Bringing my dog to daycare at the red hydrant seemed great at first. she seemed nervous when she would come home and wouldn't want to go back when she had her next appointment. After playing at daycare one day she ended up get sick with a cough, all traces of her getting sick is denied and seemed impossible to the staff. So I would not recommend daycare

Callie gave my Yorkie, Greyson “Little Boy” an awesome grooming! He’s a full size Yorkie, but we cut him like a Schnauzer and Callie absolutely nails it every time! I feel great having her give him his haircut as she truly loves all the pets she takes care and he LOVES her!

This is a great place to take your pet I have to say the People Are Awesome very personable as for the price, you pay for what you get and you get for what you paid for. The prices are great and very reasonable for the services that you get I also have had there boarding services my baby girl was treated like a princess and I was updated and got to check on her whenever I wanted so I definitely recommend you try out The Red Hydrant it's a great place for anybody and everybody I won't take my puppy anywhere else

Booked a standard kennel for our 2 older lab mixes at the beginning of August for a few days and were pleased with the services. We received several pictures of the dogs at the end of the day on the report card, and we looked forward to receiving these. When we called, they were able to tell us how they were doing and were happy to answer any questions we had. Drop off and pick up were easy and pleasant.All the employees were friendly and approachable. The dogs always seemed happy in their pictures, and Millie even got to play in water which I know made her happy!They even offer tours Monday-Thursday to look at the property and see everything, which is really nice. It feels like they are very open about their business and we will definitely be using their services in the future if we need boarding!

Rave to Red Hydrant. My doggie Oreo looks gorgeous, this was his first full groom. They went slow and his fur is so soft now, and is also reasonably priced too. Definitely will go back again.

I leave my husky, Nova, at Red Hydrant during the work week. Since I have started doing this I have seen a significant improvement in her behavior and overall well-being. She eagerly looks forward to going to day care and comes home happily exhausted, which is exactly what I am looking for in a doggy day care service.The staff members are exceptional. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely care about the dogs they are taking care of. They always make sure that Nova is comfortable and content while in their care.One of the best things about The Red Hydrant is their large, secure outdoor play area where the dogs can run around and play. Nova loves playing with the other dogs and getting her energy out during playtime. Additionally, they offer indoor play areas, which is perfect for days with inclement weather.The facility itself is always clean and well-maintained, which is important to me as a dog owner. The staff members take great care in cleaning and sanitizing the play areas and indoor spaces.Overall, I highly recommend The Red Hydrant to anyone in need of a safe, fun, and reliable place for their furry friend to spend the day. I am grateful for the exceptional care that they provide to Nova and am confident that she is in good hands while she is there

Our 6 year old Golden Doodle truly thinks as himself as a human. When we are on vacation he has always stayed with family or friends. Even in those situations he at times has refused to eat and was deeply depressed. We shared our concerns prior to this most recent boarding experience and they gave us several suggestions to help him have a positive experience. The staff is aware of our concerns and his report card is saying he is doing great! The videos of watching him play all day long allow us to relax on vacation knowing he is doing okay! Absolutely impressed with our experience here at the Hydrant! Thanks for loving up our pup!
