We just bought our third bulldog from pets r inn. They are great dogs and Pets R Inn has a great team at both locations Grand forks and Fargo. No complaints really about Pets R Inn I just wish when they post pictures of the animals on their web page that they try to get a better one or at least more than one like do a little collage so you can see full views of what the dog looks like. These are the precious babies we got from them.4/5/24 and 2 more lol

Friend and I went to look at pups, held a puppy and they told me that his puppy has an umbilical cord hernia. Has soon as you get close to touching his belly he became a different pup in seconds growling and trying to bite… understandable so. This is very dangerous for the puppy. They should be treating this pup before pawning him off to someone. This causes pain and cuts off blood supply to the intestines. In this case, the umbilical hernia will put the puppy's life in danger and could eventually kill the animal if not treated…. This is heartbreaking I wish I had the money to help with pup out and give him the care he needs . Including training now from trauma being passed off from person to person in pain and his medical care He NEEDS!!!

I'm always worried about the health of these animals. Puppy mills are so notorious for sick animals. A family member of ours got a Shi-tzu from the Fargo location. He had some issues right away and is very bow-legged. Need more responsible breeding practices...

Puchased my furbaby, 15 yrs ago. She has been the best friend anyone could have, sweet quiet and very loving but most of all healthy.she was cavalier king spaniel x bichon. Highly recommend

Pets R' Inn is one of the few pet stores in the Grand Forks Area and is the only store where you can buy dogs and cats. They also have a large variety of fish, reptiles, and small animals available. Every time I have been to the store I have always had an amazing experience. If they don't have a specific animal or supply available the owners do a great job at trying to purchase what i'm looking for. In my opinion, they have the best fish available in Grand Forks and while the location is small, there is a great amount of care that goes into taking care of their animals. I will gladly support this locally owned business' instead of going to a retail chain pet store!

Very disappointed. If you're advertising a pure bred and asking pure bred price there needs to be at minimal papers on the parents to show you're truly paying thousands for just that.

Got my Great Pyrenees puppy from here 2 weeks ago. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. It's always such a circus in there but Tess really took the time with me and answered any question I had.

Over the years this has been my go to for pet supplies or pets in general. By years I do mean at least 20. Very well established family owned business. From aquatics to terrariums.. they have cats. Dogs. Mice. Hamsters guinea pigs rats snakes however I rarely see birds. I could be mistaken or at least nothing bigger than a parakeet.Over the years the pets I've purchased have been great!!!If there is an issue or they believe there may be an issue such as hernias or the like they let you know and give discounts...but as of late...which is why not a perfect score, their prices have been insane. I will never and Noone should have to spend enough money on a domestic house pet that I could use to buy a car for. 1500 to 2000 on a puppy or cat that is not registered and has papers with seals of such info should never cost that much.Still like this place but won't be buying any puppies anytime soon anymore.

I had a great experience buying a puppy here. The staff were very knowledgable and helped me pick out a great little dog. He came from a family home and is healthy and happy. The puppy kits come with what you need to get started. I'd definitely recommend.

Dogs (and cats) kept in inhumane conditions: too small cramped boxes and stacked like shoes. Made my blood boil to see. Don’t support abuse, adopt from shelters or directly from reputable breeders

This is a great spot to get good quality fish. If they don't have it in stock they'll order it in for you. I've had much better luck here vs the big box stores in town. While infection from any store is possible, I've had no issues buying here. The tanks are clean and the fish look great. The prices are a bit higher but the small extra cost is worth it for the better quality fish/shrimp.

Lots of puppies here as well as kittens. I hope they are from good responsible breeders, not the typical puppy mill? Nice store quite well stocked for the space they have.

We visited on Friday, aug 29, 2022 hoping to buy a sweet pup for our 14 year old niece. It was in the early evening. All of the females working were exceptionally rude and aggressive towards my husband and I except for the dark haired, heavyset gal with glasses. I saw 2-3 employees in the back being very abusive to puppies back there and they started screaming at each other. One girl employee muttered “bi###” as she walked by us. We’re not from here and definitely don’t know these people for them to be rude or call names. Another set of customers heard her & they looked at us and whispered, “wtf?” It was very disturbing. The male working was very friendly and polite. We definitely decided we won’t ever be returning. This place should definitely be reported for animal abuse and neglect. They also continually rip you off in pricing & in reptile food such as crickets.

This is a great little store in the mall, and we visit did each time we're there. As a visitor from up in Winnipeg I find that they have a nice selection of CKC registered dogs, and sometimes cats, and other small rodents. Their selection of aquarium fish is pretty good for a store this size, especially as it relates to saltwater fish.

Staff were very rude. Got my GSD from here. Luckily he's happy and healthy but he wasn't even 8 weeks old yet when I picked him up! Puppies should be with their litter mates until at LEAST 8 weeks. It's sad to see these animals confined to small cages all day. I should have never supported their business by buying from them and I never will again. Lesson learned!

The fish here are great! They have a lot of unique species at reasonable prices. Also, one of our two pups was from Pets R' Inn. He is my best bud. The staff is very knowledgeable and honest about what you are getting into with any given animal. That said, if you show genuine interest they are great about getting you the info and supplies you need to be successful. Some pet stores have a tendency to overwhelm or intimidate, but I have not experienced that here. My main criticism would be the prices of some supplies, but that comes with it not being a large chain store...they make up for it with an impressive selection and unique finds. Lastly, it gets very busy on the weekends with people checking out the puppies, so if you have questions weeknights are strongly suggested.

The puppies are in tiny little window like cages and smell like pee when you ask to hold them. They are also WAY too little to be on their own. Puppies should stay with mom until 3 months. Taking them earlier "just because they're cuter" isn't ok. North Dakota is also one of the only places that allows these types of stores. Also curious 🤔 what happens when they don't sell?

This is a puppy mill operation! If you love animals, DO NOT support this business! Puppy mills do not take care of animals. They are used for money because they are “cute.”Puppies have to go potty every 30 minutes. Who takes all these puppies out every 30 min to potty? Where do they potty? Ask about the “breeder.” A puppy should not share a tiny box with 3 other puppies. What happens when the store closes for the night or there is bad weather and the employees don’t have to come to work?

I have stopped in here a few times, just to see the puppies and kitties here. I get a bad feeling everytime I walk in. I last went on this last Thursday, and one of the employees handled some of the larger pups aggressively, pretty sure she thought I left the store and couldn’t see… So sad! If I could leave less than one star I would.

I have yet to have one bad interaction here. The staff are the best. When I found my pup here they answered all questions I had, and there were allot, and then recommended some items for purchase. Everything was perfect and I am so happy with my Lhasapoo that I cannot begin to thank them enough. Midnight has been with me for a short time, but I already know that she is an amazing fit for me and I am so happy that I checked their website and stopped by. I recommend this place to everybody that asks where I got her.

Always a good selection of puppies. They have salt water fish as well as freshwater. Lots of little critters. Staff is always friendly. Helps you ensure you are a good fit for the pet you are considering. Faye is top notch!

Very busy as usual... cant get help unless you just want to hold a puppy and not buy it. If you're looking for birds you won't find any. It's sad when the pet store chains have more of a variety of pets then a mom and pop shop. As usual, the fish variety is awesome; but good luck getting help in that department.

Some of the Puppies sold here are taken from their moms way too young. Very sad and disturbing. If you buy from here it is the equivalent as supporting animal abuse (look at the cages they are kept in)Go get a dog for FREE from a rescue/shelter or purchase direct from a reputable breeder.

This pet store is terrible. Dogs and cats are more expensive than they should be. They don’t take care of the other animals such as the snakes and mice. The enclosures are tiny and shouldn’t be. They keep different types of ball pythons in the same tank when the tank is smaller than the ball pythons. The animals are in poor conditions and I feel so bad for them.
