I absolutely love the one-on-one service, not many thrift stores take so much care of their customers and go in the extra hundred miles not just the 1 mile. Even for the $5 purchases. I felt extremely welcome almost felt like I was walking into a family members home. Paula really went out of her way to help me. I do not like going shopping at all but I enjoyed my time in 701 Thrift store. I recommend 100%.

Well folks it’s a thrift store, it has items reasonably priced, the store is a bit unorganized and cramped. The woman who works there is delightful. But again it’s a thrift store.

We live on the North end of Grand Forks so we stop in occasionally. It amazes me how much Paula gets accomplished by herself. The store is like a treasure hunt. I always find something I wasn’t looking for but needed. We got a cabinet for fair price and she helped my wife load it. If you like thrifting this the right place to go.

Over-priced! Everything is donated and is way over priced. Store should be called an Antique store with these prices. Store is cluttered and hard to move around isles. Unfortunately I would not go back nor would I recommend.

Extremely interesting place to visit, wide range of items available. Just about every time I go, I find stuff I didn’t even know I needed! Very bubbly and friendly owner, and adorable sweet cats that I enjoy saying hello to. Would recommend dropping by for a visit.

When I am looking for a thrift store, this is the kind of thrift store I want. It isn’t just full of clothes, it has antique glasses and trinkets that you can’t find other places, especially in this quantity. I bought two amazing glass pieces that aren’t made anymore and a beautiful pair of antique boots. The prices literally can not be beat, I was shocked at the prices. I will be coming back here again and again! So pleased with my experience. (p.s. there are two young kitties that help you shop as well)

Seemed they could have cared less if we were in the store. After being in the store for about 5 minutes, finally decided to acknowledge our presence and asked if we were looking for anything in particular or just wasting time. Should have walked out right then, but the cats were cute so stayed a minute longer to play with them.

I am AMAZED at the volume of incredible fines at 701THRIFT store and the great bargain I received! I am also in awe of the owner Paula Valgren whom I met just today. This woman is funny and a kick in the pants, anyway I bought 2 large bookcases from her, then realized that I could not fit them in my jeep. After I made a couple of attempts to borrow a truck and things falling through Paula pulls up to the front of her store with her truck and starts to load my bookcases into her truck, then followed me home to deliver them. WHAT A AWESOME THRIFT STORE AND OWNER - SHE IS THE REAL DEAL - give her store a try I promise you you will be back I know I will. Thank you Paula, Regards Elaine!

This place is fun. From dishes to puzzles, genuine paintings and decorations to blankets and clothes. As with any thrift store, the good stuff goes fast.The staff and cats are pretty cool also.

The saying "less is more" would definitely help this store.. Jam packed to the rafters, I felt like I was in tunnels of stuff.. lots of inventory, and I can see why.. prices were sky high on everything, no wonder they have so much inventory... the lack of organization made it very difficult to shop and the extreme intense smell of Vanilla gives ya a headache...

There’s some neat things. Stuff you’d expect to find in a thrift store. But the pricing is high. Like really high. I’d expect to see this kind of pricing in an antique store and even then I’d be like, dude, this stuff isn’t THAT awesome. The store is packed. Slash prices by 75%-85% and move some inventory.
