I’ve tried several grooming places looking for somewhere for my doodle, and haven’t had much luck. I brought my dog to South Bark yesterday, and it was a great experience! his haircut was exactly what I wanted, and more importantly my dog seemed happy after the visit! other places he has seemed to be on edge after his visits and that was not the case here at all- very happy about this and will definitely be returning!

I called South Bark last minute after we had picked up our lab from hunting training and were making the four hour drive back home. Our dog Boone smelled rather nasty and was filthy from being at the trainers for a couple months. They were so kind enough to get him in promptly (fortunately had an opening) so we didn't have to drive the remaining 3 hours home with him needing a bath. The staff there was beyond sweet and friendly and so accommodating. I didn't hardly recognize him when he came out and he smelled yummy - :) He was also so happy when he came out and I knew they treated him kindly. I don't usually leave reviews however this place was simply awesome and if I lived closer would use this place all the time. The price for bathing, trimming nails and ear cleaning was crazy reasonable compared to groomers in my area.

Great experience! Great price! Our dog is a very nervous dog, but the groomer did a great job and they seemed to be buddies by the end. They gave us some personal advice on maintaining her coat. Definitely going back here!

Beat place EVER! All of the people there are so nice and amazing. My dog absolutely loves to go there, we go to day care three days a week, and I have used the boarding a few times as well as grooming. All services are great and good prices.

The owner of South Bark was absolutely GREAT! I have a rescue dog who has trust issues and explained my situation to Stace, after being rejected at another boarding place. Stace was extremely understanding and accommodating to my needs. I was even sent a picture of my dog, and said he was doing fine. I would highly recommend South Bark….. Great People!!

I have been to quite a few dog groomers in the Fargo area and South Bark is by far the best. Such a friendly atmosphere! The groomer did amazing on my dog and gave a cute little package with treats, dog bags and toys when we were done.

Very Pawsitive experience!This was our first time boarding our puppy so I was naturally freaking out. My mom takes her 3 here, so I knew they had to be doing something right.They didn't mind giving me a quick tour when I dropped off and thoroughly explained how his day and night would go. I was reassured that I could call as many times as I wanted to check in. I called a few hours after drop off, and after chatting with the gal on the phone I was immediately at ease. She knew exactly who I was talking about, what he had been doing, and how he was getting along. I only needed to call once. I knew he was in great hands after that.Thanks South Bark staff for helping our first time be stress free!!

My dog loves going here! He is always tired when he gets home. The only negative I have is sometimes in the morning for drop off it takes awhile to get him in the door because they come out and get him. I have been to a few daycares, and this one is currently our favorite.

They seem to take fine care of my dog but I wonder about cleanliness. We have used a few different day cares and boarding facilities in the area in the 2.5 years we have lived in Fargo. We used South bark for the first time two years ago and unfortunately our dog got kennel cough. I know this can happen and did not blame South Bark but we did switch to a different daycare/boarding facility that had webcams so we could check on our dog during the day. Out of convenience in location we used South Bark again this week and my dog woke up coughing again this morning. Once can be forgiven but now twice from this location my dog as gotten ill. Just makes me wonder if the cleaning is not up to par or why this is happening.

They do a nice job grooming, but my dog got Kennel Cough there last week. Good reminderer to go to a groomer who asks for your pets vet records. My dog is older and does not go to dog parks or any other area where he would have caught it.

Our boys, Hunter and Helmsley are regulars at SB. The staff are professional as is the owner. They are very diligent in obtaining vet records to ensure our boys remain healthy and cared for when not at home.SB staff could not be any more loving to our boys. When they come in no matter if it’s Stephanie, Victor, Hannah, Rylie, or Becca they are ALWAYS welcoming to my boys, my husband and me. The staff also know my boys enjoy hugs and cuddles. Victor called Helmsley, Helms, one day and I loved it because that means to me they have bonded.Kendra is our groomer, and we could not be happier with her talents. My boys are always handsome, smelling fresh and clean, and have smooth nails when we pick them up. Smooth nails are essential with Hunter as he likes to paw on your shoulder and stretch.There’s so much more to SB, but I say go in and find out for yourself. You will NOT be disappointed!

The daycare staff does such a great job. They helped turn my timid pup into a social butterfly! I love that they make sure all dogs are up to date on their shots, and that they require the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination. I also love that they don't reinforce bad habits so I don't come home with a yappy, jumping dog.

Wonderful job! Our two dogs hate nail trims and the folks here were so good and gentle the two didn't even know what happened!! Highly, highly recommend them!!
