At Sonic this day I was craving cherry limeade and my partner as well. The line was just a little slow. But, what rubbed me off the wrong way is; I was behind the person who is at the drive thru window. All of a sudden this employee comes out from the employee door (it's in the photos). She asked for payment and we were confused. There's like maybe two cars behind me. One for certain. She hands us our two cherry limeades, and tells us to "Wait Right Here". Odd. The moment she walked back into the restaurant; the car at the window had been served and taken off. Now I'm not from the area and I stayed put per employee request. After sometime I finally broke because the person behind me I can see in my rearview mirror is upset. Probably because I have not moved. That was what she said and I thought she would be there quickly. Now seeing the person who is visibly mad; I pulled forward. Now it's a guy at the window and wanted payment for the drinks and asked if we received them yet. I pointed to the center console and said "Yep right here; but the employee came out the side door, gave them to us and snagged the credit card for payment." He looks lost: think if you have a quiz and you're not sure of the answer and confused. I reiterate that we had given the card to the employee. She said to wait and we did. I didn't know that I should have pulled forward. I listened to her and completely complied with her odd statement. He's not smiling, he's not understanding how she gave us the drinks and got our card. We want our card and receipt. I explained how confused we were. He didn't even care about anything I had to say. I'm usually a trusting person; however the drive thru employee called her over. Things between them were said that we could not hear. Red flags are going through fast. Did she copy the card? Do we have to watch our bank account? I suffer from severe anxiety. Both of those employees had me on edge. Lack of professional communication and just plain rude to me. If the owner sees this and I hope he does. They both have some explanation for how that went down. Trying to get the drive thru times down by sending people out to collect payment and not pay the employee at the window like it normally goes? Or what happened? I'm clearly upset. Sonic that's the last time we visit. Ever.

Probably the best damn breakfast burrito I've ever had. But the rest of the experience was ridiculous. Missing stuff from my order, my large tots was literally half French fries. No exaggeration. The bottom half of the box was only fries. Waited forever in drive through at order speaker. The girls here are clearly more concerned with their appearance, eyelashes and nails, than they are with getting orders out correctly..

Never go here. We’ve been here three times now, and all three times we’ve ended up leaving after sitting in the Drive-Through for 20 minutes without our order being taken. One of the three visits, she kept coming over the speaker and saying, “we’ll be with your shortly,” but they never were. It’d be best if they fired them all, closed this worthless location, and replaced it with something worthwhile. Don’t go here.

This was my first time trying a Sonic and I will not be back to this location ever. Pulling up to the drive through I noticed a long line, but that’s common so I overlooked it. Then 5 minutes went by… then 10 minutes while listening to a man in his car yell at the ordering kiosk “hello” over and over before he sped off angrily. It took the employees a good 10 minutes before even saying hello and then making us wait even longer to order. Overall just really inconvenient and not worth the wait. Skip this location.

I’ve ate at Sonic before and it wasn’t that great actually I swore I would never go back. Well I gave it another shot and am glad I did. The burger was great ,fries were not greasy and ice cream was very tasty. So will I go back? Absolutely I’m glad I gave it a second chance. Great job guys and thanks for a great lunch.

Absolutely rude people. Went to pick doordashes up late at night and used drive thru because everything else was closed. Sat there for 5 minutes at the speaker and didn’t hear a single word. Decided to just pull up and told them I had an order to pick up. “So you just decided it was cool to pull up without notice?” I waited 5 minutes at your speaker, like what do you expect me or want me to do? She then proceeds to help out everyone else behind me before even being concerned about my customers order. The workers here need to grow up

Went through drive through and placed our order. Made special requests to our hot dogs. Received our food in a timely fashion, only to have it completly messed up. My wife ordered a food long dog easy on the onions, the thing looked like the put a whole onion on the dang thing and not to mention a while bottlebof both ketchup and mustard on it. The hot dog I ordered very simple regular dog ketchup and easy on mustard and this time I swear the poor dog needed a life preserver cause the dang thing was drowning in the condiment! Oh almost forgot they completely forgot the tater tots that were also on the order! I'll go back here for drinks and that will be about it! What a joke!

If OSHA saw this Sonic, it would probably be closed down! From the Dinning in experience to the bathrooms. The bathrooms almost made me want to throw up! It’s practically ran by teenagers. This Sonic needs a lot of help!Go to the new 2nd location in south Fargo. Much cleaner and professional! I would fire all the managers at this Sonic and start over!

I recently had an extremely frustrating encounter at Sonic that compelled me to share my disappointment with their discriminatory policy towards Doordash drivers. Despite being an essential asset to Sonic's business by facilitating customer orders, the staff denied me a drink carrier with the excuse that they are "for customers only." This not only seems unreasonable but has a tangible impact on the efficiency of order deliveries.This statement is not only absurd, as we are picking up for customers, but also fails to acknowledge the significant role Doordash drivers play in enhancing Sonic's customer service. We are the bridge between the restaurant and the customer, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Denying us drink carriers makes the drop-off process significantly more challenging. Without proper carriers, transporting multiple drinks becomes a juggling act, risking spillage and compromising the quality of the order upon delivery.It's disheartening to witness Sonic prioritizing a trivial policy over recognizing the contribution Doordash drivers make to their business success. By providing us with the necessary tools, such as drink carriers, Sonic would not only improve our service but also enhance the overall customer experience.I strongly urge Sonic to reconsider this policy and recognize that Doordash drivers are valuable partners. Until then, my experience will regrettably serve as a cautionary tale for potential customers who value a more inclusive and appreciative dining experience.

Sonic is somewhat new to North Dakota compared to other states and it seems very popular, even in the winter. Their menu is very big, serving something for everyone breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s one of the few places you can get a corn dog. And it’s a good one. They have lots of ice cream creations, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and more. You park in spots that have a menu board, ring the bell when your ready to order and they bring your food to your car. The servers usually wear roller blades and they still depend on a tip, which they earn by skating all over and hoping to not get run over. There is a nice covered area to sit if you don’t want to eat in your car. Drive through service is also available. The food is good for a drive-in type of place and the prices are very reasonable. Taking a family here won’t break the bank. As of this review the COVID-19 rules are that only the drive through is open. Of course, you could still drive into a spot and eat what you picked up there, just no servers are going from car to car.

35 minutes to get food in the drive-thru. Received the wrong burger and didn't get straws, went inside to ask for another burger and the straws. The person assisting inside was super pleasant and helped me right away. Very nice and it was super busy. Ordered a #3, #4, #12 all very good. Ordered corn dogs for my furbabies and they both devoured them. Reasonably priced.Parking: Lots of parking spaces to order too.

Went through drive through. Specifically asked for the #3 Bacon Double Combo. I specifically said NO TOMATO. Then l asked to substitute the regular fries for chili cheese fries. Okay, no problem. I asked if I got the upgraded size for $1.79, that would mean a larger sized chili cheese fries since I'm paying extra...This is where the whole tone and service when downhill. The guy running the drive-through then said "You get the size it comes in". Okay, so why are you charging me $1.79 for 4 more ounces of soda? Why not just tell me it only comes in 1 size? I pulled up to the window and not even got a hi or even a fake smile. I really didn't think asking a question would be that stressful for you. So I get back home and began eating and lo and behold, 2 slices of tomato I said I didn't want, regular size chili-cheese fries and large 4 more Oz. soda for $1.79 more.The food can be good. The service not so much.

Absolutely no one at the store has any concern at all about being prompt and getting orders prepared quickly... thats for sure !!!! They all look like they are on a Sunday stroll through the forest without a care in the world . You will not find any dilligent hard workers here ... so when your waiting in the drive through forever you'll know why!!! PATHETIC !!!!
