Our Daisy has separation anxiety, she needs to travel with us wherever we go. Lately we have needed to come to Fargo (3 hours away from home) for medical appointments, which require staying over the weekend. This Kennel has been a lifesaver for us as they take her spur of the moment and she always smells like the “daisy”she is when we pick her up! She enjoys being there and that’s saying something!

Came here to get in some practice time on the dock and it is really nice there. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful as well. Can't wait to go back!

I had an emergency come up and needed to leave town. I called Sheyenne River as I have boarded my dogs there before and trusted them. I called and asked how much it would be and I was quoted a price to board my dogs for a week. When I picked them up, my total was more than double what I was originally quoted it would be. When I brought this up to staff I was told “I don’t know who told you that, sorry.” It’s extremely hurtful to find people you trust with your fur babies only to be screwed over by them. I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with not only Sheyenne Rivers as a whole, but with the staff member whose answer to the situation was “I don’t know who told you that.” I will not be bringing my dogs back. I don’t trust a company that a) doesn’t train their staff enough to know accurate information such as pricing, and/ or b) is not truthful to their customers.

Changing my previous 5 star review to 1 star. Dropped my dogs for the day with the request they be professionally bathed and have nails trimmed. The girl who check us out blatantly lied to my face that both dogs were bathed, they were not and both were full of dandruff and not cleaned. Even with an at home bath they both smell of shampoo and coats are shiny. Last minute when I was about to walk out the door the same girl mentioned oh yeah we didnt trim their nails! After I already paid. I would've expected better of this place. So disappointed.

We have had GREAT experiences with Sheyenne River Kennels!!! The staff is wonderful, my dogs are well taken care of, I love the fact that they get to spend a lot of time outdoors in the runs. My husband & I get to get away without worrying that they will be safe & they get to be DOGS!Good Job Sheyenne River Kennels!!! We'll Keep Coming Back!The Sweeney's

The staff is always friendly and (seemingly) excited to see our 2 dogs. We're never had an issue with lost voices at pick up, so I don't think the boys get ignored at all. :) Pups always get picked up pretty clean!

Friendly people, dogs smell fine upon pickup, and they administer medication free of charge. What's not to like? Plus they sell our dog food at a really good price. Just wish it was closer to my house, but obviously not their fault.

My dog Sadie was there and she did so well. Wanted her to walk better and so far she is doing wonderful. Haven't been home long but she follows directions so much better. Great place.q

I have been going there for years! Nothing but satisfaction all around! My dog can be a a little much at times and they handle her perfectly! My dog is 62 pounds and I believe it is a great large breed kernel!! I would highly recommend them! The manager is fantastic as well!!

I have to say, the staff is what makes this place bad. When I dropped my dogs off, I explained to the woman OVER and OVER again that my bigger dog could *not* be allowed to run off leash, unless it is inside a fence, because SHE CAN open doors. The woman at the kennel when I came to pick her up, let her off leash. Then, the woman informed me that we didn't pay for the baths when I pre-paid, so I had to do it now. First of all, why did you end up giving them a bath when I didn't pay for it? I called the day after I left them there just to check on them and see how they were doing. The lady that I spoke with on the phone was so rude to me. Like I was inconviniencing her by asking how MY dogs are doing. These girls are my FAMILY. I'm going to check on them!!! I will NEVER bring my dogs here again. If there are no other places but this junk hole, I will cancel my trip, or bring my dogs with.

I dropped my dog off for a week at Sheyenne Kennels. When I picked her up she literally reeked of urine, to the point my truck smelt for a few days after from driving home with her. Her voice is so "hoarse" that she still can't bark. Ive taken her to other kennels in the fargo/grand forks area and she has never had these issues. The facility seems really small, so it might not be the place for a large breed dog.

Board my dogs here a few times. Lady makes you very welcome when you show up there. My dog seems to like it. They have an outdoor kennel for them to run.
