WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.VERY RUDE.ADVOID THIS LOCATION.Went in to buy a part they had on line. Lady at front said they did not have it I said I would double check. She was very very rude. Found part and then she tried to argue it was not what I wanted and in 17 years she had never sold a part like I wanted. Worst customer service I have ever gotten at any store I have ever been to.I like ACE as they usually have some odd ball parts and good prices. I told other lady at front if this was not the only part in town I would not have bought it nor ever shop there again.ACE is usually very helpful in my past experience but this one is the opposite, I could not recommend to anyone to go here. I never plan on going to this location again.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Reason I first went in was to support a local business rather than a big box as I myself am a small business owner. I needed to purchase a few things, but one thing that I was looking for that I thought I needed was extra weather strip padding for my commercial office door to shut more quietly. A The owner could have just sold me what I was looking for, but rather he walked me to their front commercial door to show me what I needed to adjust on the door in the springs and gave me the knowledgeable how to fix it myself rather then selling me extra padding. He was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable!I will be a customer for life!

I had a difficult key to copy so it was easier for merchants to tell me that they could not do it or to pawn me off on someone else, who in return would echo the previous merchants. At last I was told to try Ace Hardware. Her name was Kelly. She greeted me with a radiant smile and asked how could she be of service? I told her I needed a key copied and was told that Ace was the place to go. She examined the key and told me that it can be problematic to copy but she would be willing to give it a try as long I wouldn’t be upset if the process didn’t work. I agreed. Heck, I was thrilled that Kelly was willing to give it a try. “I am going to get this key to work,” she said. And she did. She did it while carrying on a casual conversation. This young lady went way and beyond costumer service. I did not leave Ace Hardware just totally satisfied. I left there feeling special. Appreciated. Valued. Genuine, hard working people like you, Kelly, are hard to come by these days. Thank you for such wonderful service. Thank you for making the world a better place. I know where I am going any time I need something that is hardware related. Ace is the place!

I had six keys made of a house key (Schlage). The key and lock are three months old. All of the keys only work if you pull them out between an 8th to 16th of an inch. The master goes in and turns with no problem. All the others has to be turned and played with multiple times for it to catch. Tried them on three locks with the same setup, same result. They wouldn't redo them or give a refund because they 'work'. These were $5.99 keys, each.

Great place for anything hardware you need . I needed specific connectors for my new water heater and they had them unlike the big box stores. Very friendly and helpful staff. Can't go wrong with free popcorn.

Great store! Staff is always helpful, selection of goods might surprise you. If that doesn't the rental equipment available sure will. Give them a try, much easier to navigate than the big box near by.

Well there's probably not I can say about Ace Hardware you don't know. They also seem to have the part im looking for. Their prices seem to be a touch more than the large department hardware stores, but if I can avoid walking a mile to get the part I need ill happily pay the little extra. Also very friendly and one can always find help fast.

As a master plumber they have everything I need that other retailers and wholesalers do not have. The store personnel are very professional and friendly and help you as soon as you step in the door. They are so helpful that one time I needed a special tool to fix a shower faucet that I had lost earlier that week and let me borrow theirs at no cost and that should explain it all. Shopping at West Fargo Ace Hardware you won't be disappointed.

They rent stuff interesting stuff any how they let me barrow something and went out of there way to help me when they didnt have to and didnt even want anything in return so I bought some tools I didn't even need🤣🤣😂😂Tools are my toys😁
