This place is in a very sketchy location. People were effectively blocking the door, not customers from what I could tell. Once in the store, there were two guys talking to each other while I looked around awkwardly. The inside and selection looked fine. Wasn’t sure who was an employee. No one approached me, so I left.

I don’t care what anyone says. New to the hobby or 10 + years in the experience. They treat you with the same excitement as if it were there own tank. Is that not what you are looking for in a local saltwater fish store? If you are a new hobbyist I would point you in this direction. If you are an old hobbyist in the area you already know I’m right.

Absolute friendly staff and have helped me with everything i need or wanted for my tank. They know a ton about different fish and corals and what to do’s about any problems in the tank or setting one up. They are my go to store now and will be for a long time coming! You need a fish, light or anything else they will even order them and have them in stock! Thanks Midwest!

This place has gone so far downhill. People are nice, but you can tell they’re more focused on making a sale rather than actually educating their customers and making sure their fish go to safe homes.I walked out having purchased a black ice clown, and after two months he’s doing great, but I won’t be going back. Petco’s tanks are cleaner than these... and the fish from Petco I would say look healthier.This place is always out of stock regarding the maintenance and livestock I came for.I don’t know if there is new owners or if they just no longer care, but this place just doesn’t TRY to impress their customers anymore.

Absolutely the worst communication. I ordered fish and they did not tell me there coming in. When i was able to get them after over day of letting me know, they said they died she tried to make me pay. Order your fish online where they stand behind their fish. This place only rips off customers!
