Typically I love McAlisters because it is quality food for a good price. I was very disappointed today though. I saw the waitress stacking multiple plates on her arms, while it was impressive, I don’t want the bottom of a plate on the top of my sandwich. Which would explain why there was a piece of chicken on top of my BLT… gross. The Mac and cheese was also disappointing. I don’t know if it was reheated a few times or if I got the bottom of the container but the cheese was a weird consistency and the noodles were all broken. Again, usually love this place but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of food and cleanliness.

As a repeat customer of this business, I wanted to share my thoughts on their service. Time and time again, I have been impressed by the level of care and attention they put into every interaction with their customers. The staff go out of their way to ensure I have everything I need. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality service that truly puts their customers first.

Poor customer service. I placed an online order for pick up of 1 grazing box. Their system allowed pick up for December 24. I received a call from the store saying they are closed that day. I asked if they are open on December 23 and if I could pick up the order on December 23. I was told yes. I asked how late the store is open so I can pick up the order later in the day. The staff member replied, “I don’t even know”. I was then told they have a $4000 order so can’t do my 1 grazing box order. With 20 days notice. I cancelled my order and will go somewhere else.

They're new and here to stay. From humble beginnings to signature items. This place will leave you feeling great. I judge sandwich shops on a couple different sammies. A french dip and a philly. I ordered their French dip. The bun was warm, moist, and ready to soak up the delicious au jus. The roast beef was thick, tender, and loaded with flavor. I had a cup of their potato soup as a side. The soup was thick, piping hot, and packed full of flavor. My lady had the McAlister Club. 13 layers of fresh, flavorful meat, cheese, and soft bread. She also had the potato soup, which we both really enjoyed. Our little one had the mac-n-cheese. She devoured her hot, cheesy, gooey dish. We washed down our fantastic meals with two large, ice cold glasses of their famous sweet tea.McAlister's Deli is definitely on our list!

Bad service, had to repeat my order, she asked if I wanted a pickle then I didn't it get it, they couldn't even make the sandwich with the bread they said comes with it. I ordered at the counter they acted surprised this location is setup so you will order from the table after downloading their app I didn't go inside to order from my phone. It's disappointing this location doesn't care about customer service like their other locations. It's hard to hear anything except the music blasting thru the resturant. Won't be back here again.

PSA: MCALISTERS is NOT a fast food place. It is considered casual dining. It is normal to wait 15-20 minutes. There is not a drive-thru! There is a pick up window for phone or mobile order pick up. If your order is not ready at the window and there are cars waiting, they may ask you to pull around again. If you want fast food go to McDonald's. If you want quality food, good portions and great sweet tea in a casual environment, come to McAlisters.Yes! Prices are higher here but consider this similar to a panera in terms of pricing and speed of service!The staff is new. Cut them some slack. They don't know how to do everything. Staffing in the area is difficult as many of you know. They WILL improve turnaround times and accuracy. Customer service should improve as time progresses.Note to manager: regular tea = unsweetened tea. Sweet tea = sweet tea. Please pass along to the team.PSA #2 DEFINITELY get the Cinnabon cookies. AMAZZZZZZING!

We recently transferred to Fargo with the US Air Force, and missed the McAlister’s from back home. There was a location directly outside of our old base, and it was our lunch date spot.Shortly after moving here, I saw the “Coming Soon McAlister’s Deli” sign a mile from my house and was excited.We finally visited today and had a great meal. The location is stylish, the food is great, and the staff was friendly.

Whoever prepares/wraps the sandwiches must have worked at Chipotle because my 12" sandwich was smashed into the shape of a burrito. Thus causing the bread to have the density of pizza crust.Smiling Moose takes more care and taste just as good. I have no affiliation with either sub shop, but I now have a preference.

What an awesome end to my day. I stopped to get my ice tea & the best Nachos! I own Mama Ducks Cleaning Service, LLC and Careen an employee at McAllister's, whose nickname is "Mama Bear" was so sweet & introduced herself to me. She made me feel like we were old friends! I will be back soon, great food & excellent customer service!

I recently had left a 5 star review from 1 year ago, but had to edit it based on our recent experience. We came in at 8:08pm and kindly asked if they were still open cause a girl was cleaning the floors. She said yes, we proceeded to order. When we went up to the register to order my girlfriend noticed a kid in the back (grey shirt dark curly hair) was recording her and made a sigh (annoyed that we came in). She caught him in the act and made it known that she did. She felt extremely violated and this should not be done to paying customers. We then ordered and asked to eat at the restaurant. When we got our food it was in a to-go container and the girl said idk why they put it in a to-go container but you can still eat it here. At that point we got up and left cause we got the hint. They clearly don’t want anyone there that slightly inconveniences them. I guess we will take our money somewhere else which is very disappointing cause it’s one of the only healthy options that we have close by.

This is a nice little sandwich shop. It is a new building in a "being developed" area of Fargo. The people were very nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great as well. We were there about 1pm and it was pretty busy. I did find a hair on one of our sandwiches, which was disappointing. The food was ok, but seemed a little overpriced for what you get at $10 per sandwich. I had their potato salad which was ok, but nothing special.

Went here for the first time and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I got the Choose 2 for about $10! We both tried the spicy turkey sandwich and the ingredients were very fresh, tasty, and the chipotle sauce was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone! Also, the workers are all super nice and have us free drinks and cookies so we could try more of the menu, which were both delicious!!!

Food is awesome! Reason for one star is every time we come the service is horrible! This time no one acknowledged us for five minutes when we got to counter to order. We were the only ones in line. They were figuring out how to clock out and sign in to the computer and didn’t even say we will be a minute. Total disregard for customers. Isn’t that who they are to be servicing? May not be back after this

My wife and I have eaten here quite a few times and the food has always been very good. One of our favorite delis in Fargo. However, we have ran into issues with service now a couple times. The most recent being yesterday (8/14) we stood at the counter waiting to order for at least five minutes. I could see plenty of people in the kitchen preparing food and visiting, including the cashier. They would glance at us standing there then go back to visiting. I was almost to the point of walking out and taking our business elsewhere when the cashier finally stepped out to take our order. It seems that the majority of the workforce is younger people which is awesome to see, but it just doesn't seem that there is anyone in charge to make sure employees are doing what they're supposed to and not just hanging out with their friends in the back. Again, the food has always been great, but be prepared to wait a few extra minutes for your sandwiches.

Sandwich quality 10/10. Soup quality 10/10, got the chicken tortilla and it didn't disappoint. Sandwiches are a good size sense the ingredients are fresh. From order to eating was probably only about 5 minutes so they are quick. Their sweet tea was also really good. Price for two was about $25 and the price felt right for the quality. Gonna eat here again for sure, it's a good little sandwich so that had a lot to offer but doesn't overwhelm you with options.

Great place to go when your wanting a deli experience. Their club sandwiches are very good. Last time I went, I got a Reuben, it was a good sandwich but not the best Reuben I've ever had. Overall this is a good place to eat and they have tons of options so you can try lots of different things and not get bored. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
