I've been going here as a new driver for about 2 years now. They do an inspection of everything then send you a list online that show pictures, how important it is that something be fixed, a price estimate with a breakdown, and you can accept or deny it right on your phone. They are very transparent and just super super nice. They got a good waiting room as well. Good prices and great atmosphere. I highly recommend checking this place out.

My wife and I came to Fargo for a wedding, and after 15 hours on the road, our vehicle’s bottom plate had come loose. It was a Friday afternoon and we needed a repair done before Monday. Matt’s auto service got our car in quick to take a look and had us back on the road in less than an hour!! We are so grateful for the service and affordability of the repair!! It is refreshing to find a shop that is both honest and helpful, especially when we were from out of town!!

The online scheduling was convenient and the customer service was beyond. They reached out before performing any diagnostics (even though it was so inexpensive that I was surprised they even asked permission) that were extra $ and texted a full diagnostic report categorized into red yellow and green including pictures and prices. After giving me time to look at it and process on my own, they reached out and asked what I would like them to take care of. Zero upselling or pressuring, for example-I need new tires and that was in the red, but not something I was interested in addressing that day. Prices were very reasonable and they were able to get the parts needed and have my car back to me on the same day.After my experience, I know I won’t be price shopping on new tires because I fully trust that they have my best interest in mind and will provide high quality service on my car and treat me well.Shout out to Jacob who was my contact person and went above and beyond! Car lingo is definitely not in my vocabulary, so thanks for not making me feel like an idiot🤣

I went in on a whim to get mud flaps installed, it was no issue without an appointment. It took one hour and was reasonably priced.Everyone was polite, professional and engaging.I would recommend Matt’s to anyone, anytime!

I called one morning desperate to find someone to do a last minute oil change, while they did not have any availability that same day, I was able to use one of their loner vehicles because I had some service lights on the dash that I was concerned about. Super helpful, kind and straight forward. I also liked how the estimates were on an platform with comments, notes and prices where I could confirm or deny the services. I had a headlight out. And a very busy week for my daughter, they worked with me on a time, kept me updated on progress, and let me know when complete. I knew I had a few other items to be done, and they weren't pushy on those, rather giving me an estimate and allowed me to choose. I now have a plan to get those taken care of as well, without pressure or fear. I've went to them for 4 years now, and the work and communication they provide is what keeps me returning. I'm a single vehicle, single parent home, and I need to know my vehicle is safe and secure for my little one. My vehicle was acting up and at first they couldn't tell me what the problem was. They put it through their most diagnostic "physical" as they called it. It showed anything and everything that was wrong. Even any lights that I would never have noticed were out. They needed a couple days to fix my vehicle. I'm busy and couldn't be left without a vehicle. So, they were nice enough to give me a loaner as long as I had full Coverage insurance, which I did. I got my vehicle back and it works like a charm. Their prices were reasonable and I got it back when promised. I would definitely feel good about using them again or sending a family member to them!!

Brought my new used car for a once-over. Not only did they find several aspects needing attention, they fixed my sunroof that opened but would not go up & down; it now works perfectly. Our family is new to Fargo & we were in the process of testing out auto places that were similar to the auto place we frequented in Florida--We found the service we were looking for at Matt's! I scheduled an oil change appointment for 1PM and received an email confirmation for 10AM the week prior to my appointment. I had nothing else going on that day so I figured I'd just drop in at 10AM as per the email. Matt's was quite busy, but they squeezed me in even though my appointment was for 1PM in their system. Everyone we saw was very accommodating and kind. My son & I enjoyed hanging out in the waiting area and all the surprise goodies. We even found a nice surprise in my son's carseat on our departure! Overall experience was great. Called off of a recommendation because I was driving through with a check engine light that came on in the middle of my 8 hour drive. Wasn't expecting to walk into the nicest looking and smelling repair shop. The shop waiting area was welcoming and it was nice to have people happy to serve you! Didn't feel like a repair shop at all! Chris said they could check the codes but didn't want to guarantee they could get me out of there, I appreciated the honesty. He remained positive and was doing what he could to get me back on the road same day and he delivered!! Best mechanic/repair experience I've ever had! Customer service and quality of the work is exceptional. I sought a second opinion from Matt's Automative Service in response to a difficult experience with a another automotive shop. Staff were patient, kind, thorough, and generous. I wasn't charged for their service, time, ride. or expertise.
