Very friendly employees! When I ask them where things are for my time-driven Instacart orders they always know which means they've probably been there for a little while, even the younger people Grocery stores that have been around for 70+ years are great! Let's support them over the big box grocers!!

There is no finer grocery store in the F/M area than the Northport location and as a loyal shopper here for 14 years I know firsthand. Also you couldn't find a better and kinder more down to Earth store manager than Becky. If there's any kind of issue she will always make things right.My only pet peeve is I wish they would put their utterly deliciously fresh grapes on sale more often because with the amount I purchase the company is making money on people like me.

Good service people, standard goods and supplies, horrible deceptive signage.I've had troubles with this Hornbacher's quality of goods before, but nothing too major. I don't shop here for the bulk of my groceries, but have always come here for quick pick ups. It was serviceable at least. I don't believe I'll be shopping here for that at this point though. Attached is a photo of a sales price. What does the sign say?If you are like me, you read this as "2 dollars for 10 pizzas" an outrageous and amazing deal. Does this sound too good to be true? It is, it's actually supposed to be "$10 for 2 pizzas". I could not confirm this until I got to the cashier however.It is my responsibility to make informed choices for what I buy, but I can't do that with these signs. I could just be stupid, but the signage is either intentionally deceptive, or the sign makers are incompetent. Either way, Hornbacher's is not doing it's due diligence to me as a consumer.This is not the first time this has happend, other places in the store are completely missing prices, sometimes are mismarked, but this brought my issue with this location to a head.I don't know if this extends to other Hornbacher's locations, but I won't be shopping at this one again.I only leave 2 stars instead of one because at the end of the day the service people are good-natured and the atmosphere is friendly, but that isn't enough when I need to make good purchasing choices.

People always treat me good... it's like the Old West to me, pretty much treat people like you want to be treated... I feel comfortable in places like hornys over Wally world.

What happened to this place?? Came in for some valentine's day food. Most of the steaks in the meat case were at or beyond their sell by date. Produce stock was low on most everything. Huge lines to check out, 4 registers open. Then they closed one and kicked everyone out of the line! 3 registers left open. Took over 20 mintues to check out. Unacceptable. Bakery and floral was well stocked, I'll give them that.

This is a great store and always very clean with the freshest food. The best place to buy organic food I've found in Fargo.There's a good selection of various food items and premium brands. Also, they have a couple of isles of various cooking items, such as grills, crock pots, dishes, other kitchen appliances and etc. Even some clothes, toys, or other random things. It changes from store to store and the different times you visit.I give them 4 stars because the lines are always long, they don't utilize their many checkouts😡 and their prices are a bit higher than other places that sell the same items.

This store is always well-stocked and the fact that every checkout is open during peak times is stellar. Everyone is always friendly and efficient. They bag your stuff and have a pick-up stand you can drive up to and they'll load your car. Superb.

I LOVE this place!! But I’m not a fan of the prices. Yikes!! I’m not from the area so I’m not used to the wonky checkouts but they’re fast and friendly. Got there too late for the Tunisian bread. I really like the fresh prepped dinner selection. Very helpful when we stay at Candlewood.

Full service with a good amount of variety. Nicely designed. Not the absolute most variety, but very full coverage for all of the things that must people would be looking for, plus some. This will be very relative to the variety in the area where a person is from. Very solid, overall. Happy with the choice to go there.

My honest review 2023:The bad:-The new digital price tags are difficult to read and make looking down an aisle and seeing what's on sale now impossible.- The floors- Overpriced basics- Overstock and organization can be quite weirdThe good:-close to home- the bakery and deli are amazing and consistent in quality-coffee shop-postal serviceThe ugly:-Sensory overwhelm, outdated and ableist-not very wheelchair accessible, crowded- people take more than ten things to the help desk and slow down people who just want to leave quicklyNo self checkout

I've been shopping at Hornbachers for 35 years. It used to be a great locally owned company with good prices and services. When they sold out to Corborns they took a hit but I gave them the benefit of doubt and kept going. It has slowly gone downhill since that acquisition. In the most recent changes to the pricing system it finally is trying to run their customers off and I have little doubt they will do just that. Even if I have to drive an extra 15 minutes my days of shopping here are finally done. This place has fallen into a category you can only describe as corporate scam and greed

This is the only place that I will order my flowers from! They have always produced beautiful arrangements & stand by their flower quality. I have ordered flowers from other floral shops inFargo/Mhd and they can’t match the quality of the arrangements I get from the Northport Hornbachers Florists, best florist in Fargo!I send them a couple pictures of arrangements I found online & they made a stunning arrangement of similar style that my grandma absolutely loves!

Self checkouts would be absolutely amazing. The lines here are constantly painfully long, and there's rarely more than 3 or 4 lanes open. As I write this, the shortest line has 14 people in it. I honestly didn't even try counting the lines that end up nearly at the back of the store.Other than that, the produce and meat departments are always great... those alone keep me coming back.

Nice, clean environment. Helpful staff, delicious food, drinks, Deli to sushi, its all here! Has lots of useful household & hardware. Nice touches like the reverse osmosis water cooler refill. 39ç for 5 gal! Super easy everything is what this place is _*all*_ about. Supermarket convenience with nice nostalgic Mom and Pop store feel. Very recommended 10-10

Good location and large selection. Best cheese and veggies selection. Handy if you live in north Fargo. Has an internal Caribou Coffee, bakery, flowers and deli. Checkouts are all real people. Lots of parking. Drive up loading, online ordering and delivery available.

Dependable, helpful and courteous service. Great produce and meat departments. I have been shopping here since 1953. Also, Hornbacher's has a history of being supportive of charities in our community. I think that is great.

Poor quality at inflated prices.They take advantage of weak or no goughing laws in Minnesota and especially North Dakota with zero laws.With no competition, they can now fix prices for the area. It's shameful that the food we buy is killing us, and these creeps make a killing.$$

This is a quality store. The meat selection is good and usually high quality. I enjoy the clean and well lit aisles. I did pick up some raspberries on this trip that were not good, but they refunded me with an apology. All in all, great service.
