We just finished the inside of our condo, and we couldn’t be happier with our two barn doors and new dining room table. We live two hours away from Grain Designs, and the entire Grain Designs Team was incredible to work with — from the initial design consult to installation. We wanted to find high quality (and virtually indestructible) products that would last a lifetime, and we just weren’t finding what we wanted at furniture stores/other box stores. I would recommend Blain and the entire team at Grain Designs to anyone! We met with them to add a dry bar area as well as a reclaimed wood wall. They are professional and correspond in a timely manner, which is important when it comes to construction projects. Our lower level Project turned out fantastic!

My wife and I had a vision for a barn door that we wanted to salvage from our family farm and make it a centerpiece in our new home to preserve a bit of our family history. Grain Designs showed us they cared about making it how we envisioned and took it to the next level. We couldn’t be happier with the end result of something we will be able to cherish for many years to come.I also want to add that there was a very minor hiccup at the end of the project with the door opening size. You can tell a lot about the character of a company when they are committed to making it right and ensuring you are happy in the end. Because of our distance from Fargo he hosted a Google Meet with us. He was well-prepared, showed us similar ideas that were in the store, and answered all of our questions. I love my Grain Designs reclaimed wood world map. It looks so great in my dining room. While most people would put it in their living room over a couch, I really wanted it to be the first thing people see when they walk in. Maybe I'm a bit biased, but it doesn't change the fact that I LOVE these guys, their heart and the work they put into each piece.

Blaine and the Grain Design crew are a wonderful FM business. They have some beautiful furniture and decor designed to make anyone's house feel complete. I love their state signs especially. They let you show off that North Dakota Pride (or MN) while looking very classy in your home. These guys were also great to work with when it came to remodeling the office. They created a very welcoming reception desk and the waiting room has one of their beautiful coffee tables as the center piece to the space. That wood is some good looking stuff! Love the work they do.

Grain Designs crafted a custom gift for a staff member's farewell. We requested a quote laser etched on NDSU bleacher wood - the final product was so beautifully done. From a bench and sign made from the bleachers in the New Fieldhouse/BSA at NDSU to a custom gift for my boss to a sign that reminds me of home to a beautiful coffee table that was the only piece of furniture I brought with me to Michigan and many other pieces and projects, I have Grain Designs touches everywhere. The Grain Designs (GD) Team is a wonderful group of professional wood & metal craftsmen ready to create a piece of furniture or accent piece you will love. Our relationship started when we asked GD if they would make window trim pieces for our new home from reclaimed wood. They said, "Sure!" and met with us to create the right sizes, stain and finish to blend perfectly with other wood in our home. Since then, GD has designed and built beautifully made, custom and functional pieces of furniture from reclaimed wood for our home, including a kitchen table with matching bench, a barn door, accent wall mantle and trim for our fireplace. We are currently working with them to create a matching buffet for our kitchen table....we can't wait to see the result.
