I used to love FD. Went in today to try to find a picture frame. No cashier at counter. Aisles closed off with bungee cords. Floors covered in dirt. Prices have been incorrect for months now, they always ring up higher than they're listed for. Turnover at this store is crazy. They must not be paid well enough to attract better workers.

This store turned into an absolute DUMP and deserves ZERO stars. If you're lucky enough to go there on one of the rare times when it's actually open you'll find the interior looking like a tornado tore through it with more items out of stock than in stock. Adding to that must be the requirement of having an IQ below 50 to work there because if you can track an employee down (cashier counter is usually empty with no one there - they're outside smoking) and ask them any kind of question about a product they'll give you a blank stare like you're from Mars and mumble "I DUNNO".The sooner this place closes down the better for North Fargo.

Horrible. The lady working there was slow and rude. I asked her if they have any electrical tape, and she just looked at me. Didn't say anything. Just completely ignored me. She was taking 10 years to ring up ONE transaction, as there was a long line waiting to check out. The lady was incredibly rude. Would not recommend this location or whatever other location that lady said she usually works at.

Used to be my favorite and go to place to get what I need. It was always clean and organized, past few months it is a HOT mess, Staff spends more time on their phone propped up against the counter, and don't bother asking a question...you will get a smart mouth comment back. Sad to see a good thing go bad up on the north side...but the current set of employees...will destroy what's left of this place.

Finally back open after lack of staff caused it to close over the holiday season. I am so happy as this is such a fun little store. With great prices and an App that lets you save even more this store is great if you are shopping on a budget. From Food items to toilet paper, Laundry soap and Pet treats you’ll be surprised what you can find at Family Dollar.

The clerk was very friendly and talkative yet worked efficiently at the same time. We were debating the new altoids size and 2 anti theft tags were left on the clothes I purchased. Gave 4 stars for having to go back to get them removed and because I always feel claustrophobic if more than a couple other shoppers are in there. Good deals but cramped.

This Family Dollar is in a great location and offers such convenience! Though there is a grocery store nearby, Family dollar has us covered for all of our non-food day-to-day needs.Did you melt your spatula on the stove? Stop on by. Did you forget to grab laundry detergent last time you were at the big box store? This is your place. Are you simply looking for a snack and a soda? Total slam dunk.It is a clean and efficient shop and the staff is friendly!

Where are Dawn and Jeff? Place is a mess! Went there at 9:30 this morning and people were waiting outside and it was closed. On Saturday they closed at 2 pm. Empty shelves and some guy who looked half baked wearing a punisher shirt jumped behind the counter to ring me up.....Hello, he doesn't work there. I am frustrated😠 UPDATE.....It seems to have closed down now. Is this permanent?

Terrible place to work. They treat their employees horrible. Sad. No compassion for the people that work there and represent Family dollar. Management very unprofessional, especially the way they talk about other employees behind their back and unwilling to teach them and help them to be a good employee. It's more like working with little kids the way the management, espically Dawn. They won't help you if you are having difficulties with paper work or counting out out your till cause they are too busy telling other employees how dumb you are. Not good work environment

Last 2 times I came here they were "closed" during normal business hours...a lady outside said this cashier "whoever that is" always closes during her shift. Super weird. Are they short staffed??? Since when are stores like this closed so much with a note on the door. Maybe a covid thing???? No clue but I'm done TRYING Togo here-lol.goodness.

Family dollar is great and here's why from me, a silver haired male. So much product, so little space. Some other stores are like a fitness center! Push a cart up and down a hundred aisles. Chase your kids. If you can locate them.

Store is usually a semi-organized mess. There is almost always never enough staff. It's a Family Dollar so I suppose that's what you get, but their "Smart Coupons" don't include the regular price of the item so there's no knowing if you're saving money or gambling on your visit.

it use to be a stellar store NOW with the NEW management its always stocking and always a mess in there and there is no rhyme or reason to the store products they are scattered about threw out the store constantly in a state of disorder, and i mean constantly! i will drive across town just for its neatness, too bad it was a great store for years, not anymore!
