I love the Happy Hour... Lots of free drinks go out during happy hour. Wish that they had a pool table. I like the afternoon crowd, and I like the nostalgic interior... Don't get me wrong here, its a dive bar, and you should expect nostalgic dive bar interior.

Awesome fun place. True dive bar with truly all walks of life. The bar itself is beautiful and the heritage of this bar is preserved perfectly.

They always have friendly staff, the also are a staple establishment of the downtown always very colorful people in and around there. If you want to see Fargo from a real life perspective this is the place. Not for the weak and easily frightened. The liquor store closes at 11, unless you know somebody..... But the bar is open regular bar hours and I love this place they don't ask questions and you will quickly know if you don't belong there.. not a sporty fancy dancy place, but the game will be on..

It's ok. It has its own following... makes decent shots, it's dark, it's attached to a liquor store and there's a smoking patio etc... it has that dive bar feel in the middle of the downtown stretch.

This establishment has a markedly comfortable and laid back setting. The hygge here is phenomenal. However, I am disappointed with how they treat their lives fortunate patrons, even when they have money to spend. Still, they are hard workers and mostly know what they are doing. Avoid drama and choose the empire!

Strongest drinks you'll find in town as far as price goes. Great way to end your night without spending too much. Excellent and friendly staff. And offsale if you came unprepared.

Don't pay with your card because apparently the staff tips them selves out of your pocket. And if you call and ask you receive nothing but disrespect from the manager . I'm all for tipping your servers because I've done the work myself but never were we allowed to just take money from people and call it a tip no that would be stealing.............

Try their Chicken Buffalo Ranch Pizza Idk what pizza people they use but it was out of this world. And the bar is ok too. A little down to earth, down to the street level type of place...

Nope. Just nope. Gotta nope right on out of there. Don't go here. For one, it's run incredibly unethically; it opens stores next to, like, every homeless shelter it possibly can. Don't shop here. It's not good, it's not especially cheap, and it's bad for your soul 😑

Run down older bar downtown. A lot of locals meet here for drinks. I don't know that I would go here alone...I have caught a lot of riff raff here outside. Not really a fun bar for tourists. Come here with a group of friends if you are feeling like just chatting in a more chill and quiet atmosphere or go else where. The liquor store is one of the cheapest in town, but limited selection. They have the basics.

Don't recommend. All product in coolers are expired when it comes to soft drinks. Purchased and looked at the date. And went to exchange it and said I could not. Went to purchase a new product and all of the other ones were expired as well. Go to empire on the daily. Will not be going back.

Went there tonight at 1:40 am to get some off sale and their doors were locked. Went inside and they clearly said they stop selling at 1:30. Change you signs so those of us who are pasing through know not to stop there for off sale.

Great off-sale prices. The building manager, George, keeps the place clean and safe. Try the "Death Reaper". You won't be disappointed.

Definitely a must go bar in Fargo if you're looking to have a great time yeah the place looks old probably late sixties but the people are friendly besides The Late Late Night customers but if looking to have an awesome time drinking downtown Fargo always start here the drinks are the perfect price and always burnt to perfection if that's the stuff you like.

Kind of a dive but also popular with a fun/interesting crowd. I wouldn't get very buzzed up here myself. Has kind of a menacing undertone if that makes sense.

Went in to buy a can of seagrams, get to the counter ask if he needs to see my id he says yes I pull it out set it on the counter and he won't pick up or even look at my I'd or sell to me great if you look older than 40 but if you look younger get ready to be discriminated against and refusal of service entirely

3 stars would seem mediocre but this is a great grab and go for alcohol in downtown Fargo. The selection is limited but decent and the prices aren't great. You may be dealing with transients counting out change to buy cigarettes while you wait to buy a sixer but the staff is good and deals with all the additional nonsense well.

Oh the dirty E. Where does one begin? If you're looking for that seedy little dive bar with pretty bartenders, cheap drinks, and drink tokens for freebies, this is a place for that. It's also where some of the shady people of Fargo come. If you're a fan of Modeens from "Letterkenny" or Paddy's Pub from "Always Sunny in Philadelphia," this place has that atmosphere. There are regulars and newbies, Buckhunter and a smoking porch. You can also pop next door for a take home bottle or smokes.
