The reason you bring your dog to a kennel is to have the peace of mind that they are in good hands while you’re gone. Not the case, took a weekend trip and came back to a puppy with a broken foot. No phone calls to see how she was doing, no return calls from ownership or management, and certainly nothing to make the situation better. We were customers for 12 years plus with prior dogs. I would not recommend them and look elsewhere if possible. They do not care.

I made an appointment for my ESA Franky for 08:00 the other day and explained that I had to flex my work schedule to be able to have a morning appointment, and get him back before I had to go to work. I was assured that was no problem. The appointment was for nail trim, bath, and ear cleaning. At 10:20 I called to follow up thinking he should be done by then. They said their bather wasn’t even there yet and wasn’t expected til 11:00. I asked “so he’s just been crated up this whole time!? They replied yes and so I said I’m coming right away to come and get him. I have no idea why they scheduled an 08:00 appointment for him if they knew the bathers schedule would not have him serviced til at least 11:00 when I needed him back by then and was agreed upon when I made the appointment and changed my work schedule to make it work!? I was told people normally drop off and pick up later in the day, but again, they knew my schedule and I was still assured he would be done and ready before I had to go to work. When I picked him up he had been locked up for 2.5 hours without even his nails getting clipped with a groomer being on the clock the whole time. He’s not used to that and the chaotic loud environment of barking distressed dogs. So instead of getting a clean pampered dog returned to me, I got a shaking nervous dog that smelled worse than how he went in from their obviously unkempt kennels. Him being an ESA he provides a ton of support for me. He didn’t deserve this confusing nerve racking experience. As his owner I carry the guilt of it happening.

They always take good care of my dog Kiri. She comes home super tired and happy, always excited to go back.Their grooming service is great. My dog was having an off day and instead of forcing her grooming, they paid attention to her and said we could try another day. Always happy to bring my pup to EB.They also do fun trips out to Harwood in the summer and fall times, always a great experience seeing all the dogs have fun!

Our Maggie Mae had really not been socialized much so a couple friends had recommended taking her to Eddie and Barkus. She loves it! We had to go out of town so we booked a "staycation" for her and also requested her to be bathed and nails trimmed. We returned to Fargo one day sooner than we had planned so we didn't expect her to be bathed. However, much to our surprise when we arrived she had indeed been bathed. Plus she also had a bandanna on! We can't recommend Eddie and Barkus enough! We have referred many friends too.Thank you staff at Eddie and Barkus for taking such good care of our puppy!

Stormy loves going to Eddie and Barkus so much. She knows when we're headed there, runs in, greets the staff with a kiss and knows exactly where to head to the daycare room. ❤️

Mack can’t wait to go to Eddie and Barkus. This makes me happy and also let’s me know how he’s treated. I even had a worker from EB come up to us as we were parked, waiting for food and said”is that Mack ? Is it ok if I pet him?” Mack started his big tail wag a d was obviously happy to see her.E & B staff are awesome and they really love the dogs.I totally recommend taking your hairy loved ones to Eddie and Barkus.

My dogs are completely worn out and pics show huge grins. They both run to go to staff at Eddie Barkus and outside of there they are guarded with people. So comfortable leaving my Harry kids here.

Eddie and Barkus used to be great but has gone down tremendously in service the last few years. The owner is too afraid to speak with me as I’ve asked a few times and only the manager would ever get back to me. We refuse to bring our dogs to the hardwood location due to how awful the service is so we started taking them back to the Fargo location. We would prefer Harwood as we have two GSPs that like the extra room to run. The staff there never smiled, never gave more than a one word answer when asked how the dogs were that day, and often times we were sent home a pee filled blanket or missing boarding bags that they claimed were because the dogs escaped and tore them up. The final straw with Harwood was when we set up booking over thanksgiving weekend 2022. We confirmed we could drop off twice and recieved confirmation twice. When I went to drop off the door was locked. I called and texted and no one answered. When I peeked through the window I could see someone move behind the small desk. I put the dogs back in the vehicle and I went back to check through the window again and I saw someone drop behind the desk again. After discussing with the manager the following week. He said they have had numerous complaints that they were looking into. Nothing ever improved and I never got to speak to the owner. Fast forward to today, I had an appointment to drop the dogs at the Fargo location. All over their website and google it said they closed at 12 for drop off so I got there at 11am. When I got there the door was locked. I called and called with no answer. Eventually a girl came to the door and asked if I had a boarding appointment and that they recently changed their hours to close at 10am. No indication of this anywhere that I could find online and the girl who took my call to set up boarding last week never mentioned the hours changing. Avoid this place at all cost!!!! Some of the staff are still great at the Fargo location but the overall service is way worse. Go elsewhere to find better boarding. We take our dogs to yuppy puppy one day a week for daycare and it is 1000% better. It’s just hard to get boarding at Yuppy Puppy since they get booked up well in advance.

My dog LOVES going to daycare at Eddie and Barkus, and he is always so tuckered out after a full day of play. The staff is professional and friendly, and I know that my dog is in good hands whenever I drop him off. The grooming and boarding services offered are an additional bonus and they always do a great job. Eddie and Barkus is a one-stop shop that you and your dog will love!

The staff at Eddie & Barkus take such great care of my little guy Olly! When I just mention the word Daycare he is at our house door eager to head out even if he has just spent a week in their canine hotel! We pull into the parking lot and he starts whining and jumping around because he is so excited! Making the choice to take Olly to Eddie & Barkus was the best decision I could have made!!

E&B is the perfect place to bring your dog for socializing, grooming & boarding. My dog gets SO excited when I bring her here, and that's how I know they treat her so well. She gets interaction with people and other dogs. Plus she also gets to let out all of her energy. We love daycare days!

We bring our dog to Eddie & Barkus for daycare, and I can tell he always has the best time there! Everyone is so good with him and he is always so happy when Jacqueline trims his nails! :) It is so nice knowing that he is in a safe and loving environment while he is there! 10/10 would recommend!!

Eddie and Barkus has been amazing to bring our dog, Remy, to! The staff greets him by name every morning and he is always so excited to get the chance to go there for the drop-in daycare and hotel stays. Remy always comes back feeling great and he will sleep into the next day most often. I can't recommend E&B enough!

Eddie and Barkus is our favorite place to bring our pup! Coming from a difficult experience somewhere else in town, I was apprehensive but the first day I walked in those feelings instantly went away. They absolutely love my boy Axel and I feel so comfortable leaving him with them! Axel is pooped out every time he comes home and is so excited to get dropped off. I know better to come get him early because he hates leaving.

My dogs go to Eddie and Barkus daily for daycare and happily call it a home when I am out of town. The staff are amazing and extremely personable. The facility is always clean when I am there are my dogs are cared for by the staff like they are their own. I do not hesitate with recommending E&B to everyone I know. Daycare days and field trips are something that my dogs look forward to every morning. This is our family and we love everyone here. You will not be disappointed with anything at this top notch business!

We have been taking our Jake to the Harwood location for the last 2 years and he absolutely loves it! The folks there are so sweet to him and are always so helpful when scheduling as well as sending us pics! They also give him a nice bath(he is a little too much to handle for our tub) and clip his nails. He’s always so excited to go see his friends at daycare!

Our dog loves going to Eddie and Barkus for daycare and boarding! Whenever we ask our puppers “wanna go for a ride?” he gets so excited and he knows exactly where he’s going! As a pet parent it’s also so great to be greeted and see the excitement when the employees sees our dog and knows him by name. I highly recommend Eddie and Barkus!

One of the questions I asked during my job interview was where I could take my dog for daycare in Fargo and Eddie and Barkus was the answer and I was given great advice. The staff has always been so kind to our dogs, so helpful and knowledgeable with behavior, so accommodating when we needed to bring our dogs in or board them urgently if something came up. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Our puppy attends Eddie & Barkus for doggie daycare. She's always go go go, and Eddie & Barkus is a safe way to channel her engery during the work day and socialize with other dogs. They often post videos and pictures of the dogs on social media which is a comforting and entertaining to see the happy dogs!
