It was very hard to get around the store as every isle had boxes stacked, waiting to be put out & alot of shelves were empty. I was concerned about all of the carts of refrigerated & frozen foods that were sitting out waiting to be put awsy~ how long had they been sitting out already. Many items were hard to see what was available on the shelves due to the boxes stacked in front of them. When I went up to the cashier, I asked him a couple of questions and his reply was~ * I don't really know~ I just work here. Not sure if I'll shop here again! 🤔

If I could give zero stars, I would. This store is very unorganized. Many items & displays laying on the floor. Very difficult to navigate with a shopping cart, not to mention a tripping/safety hazard. Staff not helpful at all, all answers to my questions was “I dunno”.I do not recommend this store👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Hard to run a store when you are only given 150 hrs and have to have someone there from 6am to 1030pm. Starting wage is $10 an hour. Suppose to cut full-time employees to 30 hours. Receive 1200 pieces of freight a week, plus sets, price changes ect. District Manager Deb and Johnathan watching on camera calling and asking why you took a break. That is why most of the crew quit.

More clean and organized than in the past and compared to other dollar stores. Cashier today was very helpful and seemed to know what she was doing. Stock is a little low, but that is true most places.

I like Dollar General but this particular one was hard to locate entrance from Google maps. I also would like to complain a little bit, I went here specifically for Monster Khaotic due to Dollar General always has the best sales form the product. After getting my items and going to cashier, I made him aware that there were two different sales signs saying 3/$6.00 & 3/$7.00 and they both had the same exact description. He said they do, Yes, Instead of checking out asking MOD he just rang up my items. I get $20-$30 worth of Monster here Bcz of the great price. After completing my transaction and getting receipt, I was charged the 3/$7.00 and told him, all he said was you can tell her(pointing to the female) I approached her with disbelief due to she was standing there the whole time I had told my cashier my concern. All she said was we will have to re-ring all of them, I said what, really?? She already knew what the issue was, why didn't she simply step in and either take over my transaction or simply say something???!!! Nor did she say any time go check to see about the different sales stickers advertised, and there were at least 5-7 each on each shelf, right next to eachother!! I'm sorry but this was bad salesmanship, cashiering, training and most of all horrible leadership and management skills!!!!

I've been going to this location since it's opened and I will say that newer management is terrific! There was a period of time where I never wanted to go because management was rude or people were unhappy. But now I'm there every week since I live close by. Everything is actually stocked and the employees seem very happy. I enjoy shopping places where employees are empowered and friendly. I am also really happy that Amanda is now in a management role because she has always been so kind!

The store in West Fargo on 32nd Ave. Is terrible on there app. Never works for me. Today I went in there spent almost 50 dollars. I forgot to tell them I had digital coupons. The lady never asked me if I wanted to use them. After I paid for everything I realized I forgot to use the $5 off coupon. Instead of being able to just give me the $5 off she needed to return everything that I purchased and then I could use the $5 off but they didn't know when my money would be back on my card so who can who can afford $50 off your card for 2 days maybe three maybe five. So I asked the manager if he could do anything and he's like oh I can't believe she's going to bring this all back for $5 is a lot of money if you go there every single time and they rip you off like that.

I live quite close to this location, and every time they have had friendly, efficient staff with fantastic attitudes, regardless of the day. They've always had a great choice of items, most usually stay in stock, and have even grown their selections. The store is kept clean and its easy to navigate. Ive been coming here for at least a year and I've never been let down, rain shine or snow, its been a wonderful place to shop.

I grew up with Dollar General in Ohio and comparatively this is the nicest one I’ve been to in terms of cleanliness. I was glad when they built it.However, I walked in with my 8year old nephew after picking him up from school and was told he wasn’t allowed to have his back pack “so he wouldn’t be accused of anything.” They wanted me to leave it by the door and told me it would be “protected by a camera.” If they think cameras are going to protect against theft, an 8 year old should have no problem having his back pack on in a store with video security. Seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Love the store and the employees but the manager is very inconsiderate! Ive had multiple run ins with her and all are dissatisfying. She is not friendly to her employees nore the customers. For example was there the other night and she walked in and fisrt thing out of her mouth was cussing and as someone with 2 kids i do not appreciate that one bit. As i continued shopping her voice rang out across the store continuing to cuss. Very unprofessional!!!

WOW! I just visited this store for the first time and I will NEVER be back. We had never been to a dollar general so we had a lot of looking to do. The first thing I noticed was how RIDICULOUS the prices were. I know it just opened but $1.90 for a 16 oz soda?! COME ON! The next thing I noticed was how the staff all but FOLLOWED us. We are not low class people and should not pose as any sort of risk as we did not carry a big bag or wear baggy clothing yet the store manager was literally at every corner keeping a close eye on us! Then she was clearly listening to our conversation as she would rudely butt in! One conversation in particular was about small bags of cereal where I had made a remark about “adding milk to the whole thing as to skip the bowl”. She had joined the conversation with a rude stare and then proceeded to say “really?!” To which I replied with “yes, because they are so small” and she snickered as she walked away! Mid way through we passed an older couple in a isle who clearly came to look at the new store as we had. She made sure that she stopped them and let them know about a grand opening. As we passed she glared at us before continuing as if to motion that we were in the way and she clearly didn’t want us to be any part of her spiel. This in itself felt very rude as she didn’t give us the time of day! As we came to the end of our shopping trip the lady stopped us in the last isle and made a comment stating “do you need me to help you fill up this part?” Gesturing towards the lower large basket of my cart which was empty as I had only come to look around. Then rudely remarking that she could go “get me some cereal” as she walked away laughing! We left our cart right there and walked out feeling shamed and looked at as crooks! In all, this was the WORST shopping experience I have ever encountered and I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in the customer service they provided, especially in a state where most people are very friendly!

I went in to reload my chime card. There is a shorter lady working who went above and beyond her responsibilities. The stores machine wasn't scanning my card she tried both registers. Neither one would work. she than called the manager who was very quick to blame the issue on my card. But she didn't give up! She knew the issue was not my card. She than asked the taller gentleman working with her if he could handle the other customers sk she could restart her register. Which he said he was fine with(another great employee by the way). So after a few minutes go by her register is fired back up. She very transaction again this time it scanned the card but said transaction declined( I was using cash so she knew once again issue was on the stores side). A few more minutes go by and the register finally gets all connected to the internet. And bingo bango I was able to reload my chime card.I wish dollar general as a company would update their dial up internet and their windows 95 system so that their employees wouldn't have to deal with the stress.I definetly recommend this location great service and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. If you go to this store be patient its not the employees fault its the company's lack of give a damn for their employees and their customers.Once again I thank you both for going the extra mile. Dollar general is lucky to have you as employees!!!

My wife and I give this store five stars because of the fact she shops there a lot and tells me she likes the store because it’s clean and its great employees, especially Kari. She always smiles, works hard and helps my wife find her things with a positive attitude! We need more people like her.

I'm not sure why they got rid of the little white girl who managed the place before! She was absolutely incredible and new management doesn't seem to understand how to keep a clean store or merchandise on the shelves. Corporate messed up big time letting her go!! 😡🤡

This is usually one of my first stops on my shopping list as its convenient. However since the Covid its been a hit or miss on getting supplies. Otherwise I would have given them a five star.

I love the convenience of the store and location but every time I am in there the store is a mess. Most of the time you can't access all of the products because of carts of product parked in the way. The store isn't big enough for all of that.

Lots of variety. Fairly decent prices. Name brands as well as off. Only critique is that the aisles are very narrow. Hard to navigate if more than on person in aisle or if going opposite direction.

We love shopping at this store, the staff is friendly and very helpful with anything we are looking for. It is close to home and a great place for me to run, with a baby, if I need anything quick.

Store was OK as far as DG's go. Just make sure if you're using Google Maps, don't use the directions to 32nd Ave NW....use the ones to 32nd Ave W. It's the one on Sheyenne.

Too crowded. Not very clean. It appears to be a rather new store too. Cashier was chewing gum, popping bubbles with it while talking and cashiering. It was Gross. Very disappointed.
