First and last Costco Tire experience. They have great prices on good tires, but the customer service factor is lacking. Bought a new set of tires, 48 hours after the install I had a completely flat tire. I took the vehicle back to Costco but they were unable to fit me in to take a look at it. I was told I needed to schedule an appointment. So I went to Firestone. I wont go back to Costco for Tire issues knowing they are incapable of helping when their customers might need assistance.

Install deals are good, but like most things at costco.. it's a manual process to drop the keys off for service. You can schedule an appointment online, but when you drop off the vehicle, you have to stand in a single line with people looking to purchase tires and with all the time in the world to talk to the attendant. Meanwhile, I'm in a rush with no option but to wait 20-30 min just to hand someone my keys.

We bought tires at Costco but will not do it again. Their “free” tire rotations are anything but. They can also find something to charge you for, usually something to do with the sensors. Most recently they wanted to replace 2 tires instead of just rotating because one tire had tread that was “too low” based on their ridiculous standards (other places have no issues with what they consider too low). They even said that their records states they had replaced 3 of the tires in the past. That alone betrays a fundamental lack of knowledge regarding tires. Do not go here.

Made an appointment to get my tires rotated, but they wouldn’t do it because of “load and speed index” Apparently, the tires I had on my car were not up to standard or whatever stupid excuse they gave. Waited 30 minutes just to tell me they couldn’t do it. And waited another 30 just to put the tires back on…when I asked the guy at the counter why they couldn’t he explained, “your tires have a set of numbers to explain the weight and speed of the tire and because yours is below standard we are unable to rotate them.” You would think the right thing to do would be to tell me that first before they took the tires off and had to wait an hour….so dumb!

Made an appointment for the tire center to rotate my tires, including my full size stock rim spare. Explain it was in the bed of the truck. Waited over an hour and half before I had to checked in and see if they finished it. cause they did not call me, I asked if they put the spare away and the gal behind the counter said yes we did. Go out to my truck and they never put it on the truck and it was still in the bed of my truck. Never will I get tires again from Costco. Going to Walmart for now on. FYI you have to keep your membership to keep your warranty with tires. They did rotate and balance the four tires that were already on the truck. That’s why I put a 2 star.

I had a noon appointment to drop off my vehicle. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited 30 minutes behind someone buying tires just to drop off my vehicle. When it was completed, I waited 15 minutes behind someone just so I could get my keys. Once I got my keys, I walked out to the parking lot and started my SUV. The TPS light came on. I walked around the car to see if I had a flat but they were all good. So I walk across the parking lot again to ask why my light was on along with the "Service tire pressure system" message. Hold on to your hat, I waited again behind two more people just to get told, "yeah, we couldn't reset that. You'll need to take it to a dealer". Uh, what? It worked when I dropped it off and you knew it wasn't working when you handed me the keys but let me walk out to find out on my own? I was given a blank stare and told that I "need to bring it to a dealer and they'll do it for free. If they charge you, bring it the receipt and we'll probably give you your money back."Good lord, do not buy tires here and certainly do NOT have them installed here.

This is my actual experience. I used the Costco tire filter to find the tires necessary for my car. I purchased them and after purchasing I was able to schedule an appointment. When I called, I was told they were wide open and we settled on 11am. I arrived at 1045am, 45 minutes after they opened for business for the day. I was told it would take about an hour.At 1143am, I got a call from the tire center. The gentleman told me that they noticed I have run flat tires on my car and I didn't purchase run flat tires. Run flat was not an option presented to me when I entered my correct vehicle make, model and sub model. He went in about how I'd be stranded if I got a flat if I don't understand run flats. I want worried about that, truthfully.What bothers me greatly was that a full hour after they took possession of my car, they are just starting to work on it. I asked what the delay was and he told me they're running behind. Forty-five minutes after they opened for business, they are already timing over an hour behind?This is an example of a business with absolutely no respect for another person's time. I will not return for tires and I would not recommend Costco Tire center in Fargo for tires, either.

Used to be a great tire center, now as of May they won't service Costco members unless they're willing to buy new tires. They will also cancel your appointments without telling you.Go somewhere else, if they won't service a customer unless the customer makes a big ticket purchase, they don't care about the customer here anymore. If they care more about the money than the customer, can you honestly trust the quality of service still?

My car has tires from Costco, so when I got a nail in one, I brought it in to get it patched. There was no seating (not in the food court or anywhere because of COVID). After standing around for over two hours with my kids, they informed me that my tire was not able to be patched and expected me to swipe my card and buy a new tire. Because of the location of the nail, I was skeptical that I was being told the truth. (Also, you can’t really buy 1 new tire on a whim, because your tires wear differently... it was as if I was expected to buy 4 new tires even though mine are minimally used.) I left and brought my car in to OK Tires. I didn’t have an appointment and they had my tire patched within 20 minutes of arriving. I was also able to sit down during my wait; my kids watched tv and were offered beverages and snacks. The only reason I’m giving Cosco 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff were friendly. They seemed to be way behind and overly busy. So, I felt for the staff in that way; it seemed like they were doing their best to manage an overload of vehicles and chaos. However, after this experience I will take my car elsewhere.

I purchased two tires in November of 2015. In April of 2016, after having driven well under 2000 miles, I experienced a flat while driving on the interstate. I called a tow driver who put the spare on and mentioned that he saw no visible punctures.Since I knew the tires were under warranty, I brought the vehicle in to Costco where they explained the warranty (how much of the tire cost would be covered based on the wear).When the tire was finished, great news! No wear so the tire was covered 100%! I figured but was happy.Then I asked if they found a cause of the flat.The guy looks sheepish and says "Yeah, there was a pliers left in the tire."A PLIERS WAS LEFT IN THE TIRE BY THE ORIGINAL INSTALLER.Now, I'm a fairly reasonable person but this obviously still bothers me. I didn't receive so much as an apology for the inconvenience (sitting by the side of the road for over an hour, an extra Costco trip where I sat for another two hours, the extra time I needed from a babysitter, the cost of the tow driver to come change the tire).I don't ask for much, but I think someone needs to know this happened. Buyer beware.

I would like to thank Dave Carpenter (and Costco policies) at the Fargo ND Costco location.I bought tires for my Saturn Ion last year in California. My daughter drove the Saturn to Fargo ND and attended college there. Well, this last weekend, she had an actual blowout of a pretty new Michelin tire. I called the Fargo Costco and talked to Dave since my daughter is not a Costco member. I texted a picture of my Costco membership card to her. With that, Dave took great care of her. I could tell she was a bit intimidated to handle an issue she had never been in and concerned about problems in the tire center. But, it was a great experience with no issues at all. I've been a Costco member for many many years. This is the type of service all companies should strive for. It creates lifetime loyalty. Costco is the only place I'll ever get tires from again.My thanks to Dave and Costco!

They do not have the equipment to do alignments. I bought 4 tires (80,000 warranty)about April and wasn't told my car was out of alignment (but was noted on paperwork that they suggested alignment check) my fault not reading all the fine print. But 100% was not told that I needed alignment checked at purchase and installed 4 tires for about $800. I would have gladly paid $100-$150 for alignment if told I needed it. Now fast forward to 10 months about 18,000 miles Wife says her car steering was loose. So I bring it in to get the tires rotated and balanced. They come out and tell me I need two front tires."Me: Thinking maybe they didn't realize I bought the tires here." Warranty right? Wrong (doesn't cover alignment)My wife was even in about 3 months ago for a low tire. Turned out to be a nail in one tire. Nothing ever said about wearing on the tires. I'm not putting Cosco 100% at fault but definitely giving them the majority of the blame. I should've read the fine print. I also feel I should have been told I needed alignment after they installed my tires. Lesson learned the hard way. My suggestion to anyone getting tires is go somewhere that does tires and alignment.

Terrible service. We scheduled, in advance, a time for them to put new tires on my wife's car. When she got there they told her "it'll be a bit, our guys aren't here for work yet" and she waited almost two hours for them. Then they tell her she needs to get the wheels aligned after they were finished...they didn't do that when we bought new tires and paid them to install them?Lastly they parked car in the middle of the lot and told her a general direction it's parked in...and everyone knows how large and busy that parking lot can be, took her another fifteen minutes to find the car.

Would give 0. Ordered a set of 4 tires. Get there and they say they only received 3, and that its a mistake on UPS end and there’s nothing they can do at the store. Have to call customer service, get no help. Finally cancelled my order three weeks later. Worst shopping experience ive ever had
