We were able to get in right away. They have urgent slots for Sat at 9 am and 5 pm. My puppy dog Harley had a broken. Toenail and a bladder infection. They were very gentle with Harley. She was sedated for the bladder check and nail check. She did wonderful. She received some antibitotics. She's at home resting with kitty and getting pampered.Highly recommend and trusted.

Casselton Vet has been an awesome experience for our family, both human and fur babies. We have used this vet for well checks, urgent care, and euthanasia (although a sad time, they treated our kitty and us with utmost respect, compassion, and kindness). All of our experiences have been so great, we will keep going back for years to come.

They are very professional and caring. We have been going there every month for the last two years for our guinea pigs to get their nails trimmed. They go above and beyond every time to make the experience excellent our guinea pigs.

I don’t even know where to start. When I walked in to put my baby girl to rest they quickly realized I was at the wrong clinic. Immediately the girl in the front asked me to hang on for one second. They went in the back and came back out and said no worries they will accommodate me there. Not only did they make room for me but the staff was seriously the best! They were all so amazing during this hard process. They were so sweet to her and me and my daughter. During such a hard process they made sure that every step of the way they were compassionate , caring and understanding. What an amazing staff and I am forever grateful for them. This was my first visit to this vet. I have a 1yr old netherland dwarf bunny that was sick. They brought us in right away and took very good care of us and explained what was going on with her. They explained the medication and what they will do for her. I will definitely be going back. Oh and I live 2 1/2 hrs away, totally worth it.

Charis, our dog, had experienced diarrhea for four days and was lethargic. The vet and tech team were excellent in their care of Charis and answering our questions. They helped put our fears to rest and assisted Charis on the road to recovery. Thanks much

Update:I'm bumping my review up to 3 stars. I had several friends try to convince me to give them another chance, especially since I loved the vets I interacted with.I had a sick kitten who needed an urgent appointment. One thing that I love about this clinic is that it's usually easy to get an urgent appointment. I called at 5:20 and was able to get in at 7:00. I saw a third very nice vet, and my tech (Paige) was incredibly patient and understanding. They took the time to answer every question I had.I'm willing to start over and can always update this review accordingly.~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•I adopted a new kitten from the shelter and only had him for a few months before he got sick and needed a vet. I took him to Casselton Vet in Fargo.The positives:*The two veterinarians I interacted with were professional, caring, kind, sensitive, and genuinely seemed to care about animals and my feelings. Considering the first was telling me my kitten would die and the second was putting my kitten to sleep, I thought that was really important.*The office is new, clean, and comfortable. There is plenty of parking, and it's easy to get to. I've included pics with my review so you can see how nice of a place it is. It also doesn't smell gross like wet dogs or anything like that*They were able to get me in fast because I called at 7:30 am saying I needed an urgent appointment. This was very much appreciated (even though the price was higher). I don't think most vets in the area hold appointments like that.The Negatives (and reason for 3 stars instead of 5):*While the doctors seem to be professional and kind, I can't say the same for the support staff.*The same vet tech who was in the room during the diagnosis of my kitten's fatal disease showed up to help when I had him put to sleep. She held him and made a comment about "how much life is left in him" because he scrambled when they gave him a shot. Sure, he *could* have stayed alive for a while longer, but she isn't the one who had to listen to him howling in pain at night because he couldn't use the litter box comfortably. I refuse to allow an animal to suffer and it truly felt like she was judging me for having him put to sleep sooner than necessary. She even gave me a sideways glance when she realized that what she said was probably inappropriate and offensive. Putting an animal to sleep already comes with its own guilt for a lot of people, and vet techs shouldn't make it worse.*I bought a paw print and wasn't told it would be the kind I have to bake. It wasn't a big deal, but it was a surprise and I feel like it should have been mentioned. Other vets use air dry clay to do instant impressions you can take home the same day. The point I'm trying to make is that not every vet is the same so the details should always be mentioned and weren't.*When I was having my cat put to sleep, the "candle" was lit letting people know to use hushed tones. I'm aware that the staff can't force clients to shush, but the staff could set a good example by doing it themselves and following their own rule. I was in the furthest away room and could hear the ladies at the front desk laughing and making jokes very loudly, word for word.*When I came to pick up the paw print, the lady who helped me finally found it and then walked out with it, cooing over how cute the tiny footprints were. When she saw me looking sad and remembered my kitten was dead, she changed her tone and apologized for my loss. The entire interaction didn't feel great.So overall, if you need a good doctor, this vet will probably work for you. But if you want to feel respected and valued as a client, their support staff can't offer that to you and you're better off going somewhere else. I will be finding a different vet for our new kitten.

I would never recommend anybody to take their precious babies there. $3,000 and two days later, our sweet husky was dead. 😢 He was only 7. I will never take another one of my pets there.

Both offices of Casselton Vet delivered exceptional care for a sick litter of kittens under my foster care. They went above and beyond to save my little guys. Unfortunately, one of my babies did not survive, but the entire team went out of their way to comfort me during my grief with this loss. When I brought my little survivors in for their follow up visits, they were greeted like celebrities, with snuggles and greetings from everyone involved in their care. It meant a lot that so many people were invested in helping these tiny kittens. I can't express my gratitude enough to these wonderful professionals who helped me in my time of need. I highly recommend their services.

We’ve only visited once, and just had a quick couple shots when they took the dog from us for like 7 minutes but it’s so nice and homey, even with dogs barking and kitties growling 😂. Free drinks too! Plus a fish tank with a loach!! I love bottom feeders! Anyways, i recommend coming here if you need a vet. All the vets in fargo are so nice and the staff are always so sweet. I would’ve given five stars but i’ve only been here once for a quick visit so i can’t really say i’ve experienced much!

I brought 3 cats in within a week for checkups and everyone was SO kind to all of us and didn't make me feel bad at all about the obesity of one and new diabetes diagnosis of another. They are helping me bring my cats to their best health so we can all live long happy lives together. Staying open until 10 made it easy to schedule but also gave me peace of mind when I had to call and ask additional questions about the insulin. I'm so happy to have found Dr. Thill and to be able to have her care for all my fur babies!

It became evident that it was time to say goodbye to our senior dog. We checked all of our local vets and no one could or would get us in. I contacted Casselton, and after learning what we needed an appointment for immediately fit us into their schedule. The staff was amazing. So kind to us and our sweet girl. The transition room was so comfortable and soothing in comparison to every room I've ever been in. The room had a bed for her to lay on and they provided Hershey kisses, because why shouldn't she get some chocolate. All in all, the staff and services provided exceeded everything I could have hoped for in the situation. If you have the opportunity to make them your local vet, I would highly recommend. If they treated someone who had to drive nearly 100 miles this well, I can't imagine how great they treat their regular customers.

We are very happy with Casselton Vet Fargo. They were able to make us an appointment quickly. They were upfront about their pricing and costs were very reasonable. They were friendly and efficient. Our pet was handled with care and respect. All of our questions were answered in ways we could understand. Any procedures or treatments were discussed in detail before beginning. We did not feel rushed or confused at all during our visit. The grounds and interior were clean and inviting. The facility was modern and bright. They have extended hours to best serve their clients. They also offer boarding, grooming, and daycare which is convenient for anyone seeking to bundle services. Had a general check up for my Guinea pig. Not alot of places will see them. They were so knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this location. I felt like they listened to my concerns and questions and placed my fur baby first. They even took extra time to snuggle and love up on him.

We took our lab to Casselton Vet Service in Fargo after he came up lame while pheasant hunting. They were really good and through with him. The vet that treated him was Dr. Bjerke. He explained exactly what the issue was and the course of treatment going forward. They were very professional and treated our lab with kindness. Would recommend them highly.

Not the best experience. First of all, it's hard to find especially when you have a sick pet and when you call, the front desk doesn't even know how to give you good directions. The doctor was nice but the people at the front desk could use a few lessons in compassion instead of just running the veterinary clinic like a money making business!!!! I will not go there again. The atmosphere was way too cold for me. I see in the reviews, I'm not the only one having an issue with the front desk staff!!!!

I am downgrading my rating of Casselton Vet Fargo due to the lack of professional tack and care shown by the receptionists and front end staff. (Being short staffed is not an excuse to say I was 10 minutes late when staff was helping 3 other clients as I waited first standing, then sitting to keep my dog calm.) If you choose to bring your fur baby here, I recommend a couple things. Ask about their late policy, if your are late by 5 minutes you will be rescheduled and please by all means if you have any concerns DO NOT let anyone book an appointment anywhere near a vet's lunch hour. Amends were attempted to be made but I mixed the dates due to so many options that didn't work. All this hassle for 5 minutes. When I received a call from Casselton she was argumentative on the phone. Now after being loyal clients for 20+ years I feel I cannot trust bringing our fur baby back. Mind you the vets have never done anything to harm him or any of our pets in any way.*There is more to this I am leaving out for length. I'm frustrated and sad. I am done.

Fantastic. Just fantastic. Do you want a vet that actually cares about your animals and not just in it for the money? Go here. They treat your animal with the greatest of care and if your animal is too wound up or may hurt itself they'll have you reschedule sometimes and that is completely understandable.We've taken our golden retriever and our cats here and they know what they're doing.Also their grooming area is amazing. We took our dog elsewhere last year and they had no clue how to trim up a golden retriever. Casselton knew exactly what to do and got him looking and smelling great!I'll always recommend this vet!

Not always easiest to get in for an appointment, but not necessarily their fault, business is busy all the time (which is a good sign). Staff always does well with our giant breed dog and veterinarians are knowledgeable on what’s needed.

I always forgot to do a review but after today I really have to give a shout out to Casselton Vet Services Fargo location. They work so well with my doggo who doesn't like other dogs and finds the vet stressful. They do such a nice job accommodating and it really makes for a smooth visit. They also know how to handle dogs and distract them really well during vaccines and wellness checks. Also they never make me feel like I have the troubled child. Always greeting us with happy faces and a lot of patience. I truly love all the staff they are always really welcoming I do have my favorites but overall very great people to be around. Thank you Casselton Vet Staff for all that you do. Your work and dedication to animals does not go unnoticed! Last thing pricing is pretty reasonable too having pets always comes with a cost but, they don't break the bank which I can appreciate!
