I have gone here multiple times, every time I ask for a chocolate chip malt. 80% of the time, they give me a vanilla shake with chocolate chips in it rather than an actual malt. They've claimed a few times the malt powder is in it. I've been to many Dairy Queens and can tell you it does not have it. It's very unfortunate because the staff is very friendly and very helpful, however I will no longer eat at this location.

ALWAYS always always make sure to call for hours if you are driving a good distance. The hours on Google are not accurate. I wanted some late night ice cream, so I checked the hours; and Google said that the drive thru was open till 10. Google also notes that the business confirmed these hours 6 weeks ago, so I thought I would be okay. I drive there to find out that they had closed at 9.

BEST BLIZZARD EVER! Tried this location for the first time because I was near the base. Seriously a pleasant surprise, considering the recent reviews. I ordered a blizzard, cheeseburger, and a small fries. Best blizzard I have ever had, chock full of toppings and well blended. The fries were hot & perfectly salted. The cheeseburger actually looked like the photo on the menu which is a first for me at any fast food place. Wait time was average so no issue there. Honestly the best Dairy Queen Iāve been to, and Iāve been to a lot of DQs š. FIVE STARS!

We came here for soft serve ice cream. My wife ordered large vanilla chocolate dip. I ordered the same as a twist. "Oh, we don't do twist". Ok, I'll have chocolate and chocolate dip."We don't have chocolate, only vanilla." A large that we remember was about 6 inches tall. What we received was a small (4 inch) fat one in a large cone, plus they skimped on the dip. But, at least the ice cream was good.

It shouldn't take 20 mins in drive-thru when your the only vehicle there...once I understand. Twice maybe. Every single time. You can see through the window nobody does anything. There is one person that cooks and the rest will stand there like it a union hall. There is no leadership or cross training to speak of from just observation...This use to be and could be a great place again if someone was hired to train and manage these kids alot better....so sad š I like dairy queen but this one's gonna die soon if it doesn't get its act togethee.Vegetarian options: Salads

This particular location has easily the slowest service I have ever witnessed in my life. A drive through should Never go beyond 10 minutes. Much less 25 like just happened to me.And inaccurate orders. Ask for a single, grt a triple. Ask for triple, get a double.Mind blown. In the worst way.

Me, my mom, dad, my nephew and son (both 1 year old) went to DQ tonight after going to the pumpkin patch. We were greeted by a very nice young man who took our order. He ensured he had our order correct. Upon getting our food, we realized that we were missing a milk from the kids meal and I went to ask for the milk and the ice cream from the meal deal. There was a lady at the till and she started to ring up the milk and ice cream and I said oh we already purchased it. While this was happening, the young man went and grabbed the milk and she got the ice cream. Once she brought it to the table, I realized that I didn't have my BBQ tossed chicken. It was just plain, so I said we didn't have the correct item and showed her the receipt. She aggressively grabbed it and signed then went back to the kitchen. My mom said "without the attitude would be great" as she contined to sigh and walk away. She was heard saying "oh my god" in the kitchen. When she brought the correct order out, she put it right in front of the kids who are obviously going to reach for the steaming hot food.. she then took the plain chicken. She didn't put the toast on the new order so my mom said can we keep the toast. She gave my mom a look and let her grab it. She then went back to the back and came out shortly after and started vacuuming (from experience this isn't cool to do while customers are in the dining area) and the young man mopped. Seemingly getting ready for closing, even though the posted hours were until 8 and it was just after 6 at this point. The young man did some small chat with us about the kids and was very nice. When the vacuum started, it was loud and made both the kiddos get scared. They both started fussing and wanted out of highchairs. As any mother knows, once this happens, it's hard to get them back into eating mode and back into the highchair. Thankfully, they calmed down and went back to eating without much trouble.For us being the only ones in the seating area and minding our business just trying to eat a quick dinner before heading home, we were treated pretty poorly for a simple request of getting the milk and food we had paid for. The only saving grace in this situation was the nice young man who was kind.For a small town, that doesn't have options for a place to dine, you would thknk that they would want to keep people wanting to go there..I get that sometimes you don't see the full side of the story, maybe the lady was already having a bad day and her remaking the food was the last straw but she definitely could have been a lot nicer since we asked her nicely about the chicken.Since she kept the receipt, I wasn't able to do the survey on there so I figured I'd leave my review here.I'm not the type of person to complain but this was just not cool.Rave to the young man working though, continue to be a great customer service oriented worker and you will go far!!

If it were possible I would give this place 0 stars. This place has never been the best when it comes to customers service but lately it has become terrible. The website says it is open until 9 pm and 10 pm for drive through. I checked the time online before my husband and drove all the way out there only to find a sign stating the place now closes at 3 pm!Fast forward several weeks and my husband and I decide to give it another try. This time I called first and I was told they closed at 8 pm. My husband and I get on the motorcycle and head out for banana splits. We parked right in front of the door while a young man (employee) watched us park. We were not greeted when we walked in and the young man walked away from the counter. I took my time choosing what I wanted as there wasn't anyone to take my order. Finally the young man returns and tells me we have to order our food to go as it is almost 7 pm. I am furious at this point. It is no where near 8 pm and we can't really take ice creams for 2 on the bike.When I called, I should have been told there were 2 different closing times. As this restaurant lobby isn't very big, there shouldn't be a need to close the lobby early unless there is a major staffing issue. It still says the lobby is open until 9 pm and the drive through is open until 10 pm.I will either drive all the way to Park River or Grand Forks if I get a craving for DQ. We went to Coldstone Creamery and had amazing ice cream served to us by nice employees.

My wife ordered six ice cream cones in the drive-thru. It was her, and she asked if they could put the ice cream in a cup, and the guy said no. She asked if they could charge for the cups, and the guy said no! Oh well, my car finished with ice cream everywhere because of that guy. Next time ill tell my wife to go downtownāsmall DQ with a small population around with bad employers. Oh well!

Not sure who the new owners are but it has went down hill so much. This evening they couldnāt even flip a blizzard because the ice cream is so runny. They havenāt had chocolate ice cream for 3 weeks now. They havenāt changed the menus since it was sold to them. The blizzards are now normally filled about 3/4ā from the top instead of the normal very full. The list goes on. Please Dairy Queen franchise do something. It was always so good before it switched hands.

Very poor service, food was equally awful. We ate in and they ended up bagging it anyways, she brought our food and said to check it but walked away. We were missing a burger, and when they were told she came and checked (which is fine) but she kept trying to tell us what we were missing even though we showed her what we were missing, she had our receipt in hand and still was questioning us, everything was out on the table and she could clearly see the food we were missing. Told us that we couldn't get extra sauce for burgers because it was portion controlled, even though there was barely any on it. As people were coming through the drive-thru we could hear the workers saying "I don't hear you, go away, go home " and very sarcastic "I love my jobs. Need old management back, this ones awful. Jobs aren't fun but no need to be rude. Also had our children with and they decided to Not get ice cream because the workers were so rude

I know they are relatively new owners but this is ridiculous. I use to enjoy stopping on my way home from work for a chocolate malt at first I thought "they are learning" apparently not. I'm old have never had a malt I couldn't eat. But today I did. My god how is it possible to make chocolate malt so discussing you throw it away.

Dairy Queen on 201 Veitch st, is the best one in EMERADO! Cleanest restaurant iv ever been too! I drive across the city just to get one of their cakes! They do an amazing job and always always have a variety, they will even pack your cake in a box with ice for the long ride home! NICE PLACE TO GO WITH FAMILY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This was my order: 1 6 piece chicken bites meal with drink, 1 ājustā chicken bites, cheeseburger, large blue raspberry slush, side salad & 2 cupcake ice creams. This is what I got: 1 chicken bite meal, 1 6 piece chicken strip meal, a larger chicken salad & the rest was correct. I had to repeat the chicken order 3 times, to two employees & they still got it wrong. Definitely need to train their employees to be more familiar with the menu & to have better listening skills. One employee thought he was clever explaining that they have both chicken strips & bites. I informed him, yes, I know & I want the ābitesā. Next time, Iāll have to write down the order & perhaps they can read. This ended up wasting food & costing mom & I more money.

I usually love Dairy Queen all round but was a little disappointed with the drive-thru. Sat out there for 15 minutes after being told to wait. I finally just decided to come inside to find the employee at the window not doing anything. I was however satisfied with the lady (Ally) working the front register. Great food and enjoyed the blizzard, drive thru could have been better though

I was very disappointed in DQ tonight. The Texas toast in my roasted chicken bites looked like bread with melted butter and the fries were still white... My husband's blizzard and onion rings were good however.

You canāt give zero stars or I would. Fries pretty much frozen burger was burnt and harder then wood. But itās the emerado Dairy Queen. I shouldāve known better than to waste my money there. But people make mistakes right !!!! I would recommend you do not eat here. Clear lack of care for there customers.

We have been to this Dairy Queen a total of 4 times and every single time itās always the same guy working the drive thru and he seems very unenthused. Tonight we went and he was very rude. He mumbled everything he said and seemed to be in no hurry at all. When the card I handed him didnāt work he rolled his eyes and handed it back after I said āthat one may not work, I have a new one.ā Really put a damper on our moods. He absolutely hates his job.
