I absolutely love this place! I plan to maybe try to work here for customer service and possible fish delivery. The lady who works there is absolutely amazing! My dad and I often visit when he has to get his truck worked on or when we go up for a doctor's visit. I buy fish and aquarium supplies here all the time! I've had only a few fish die from stress or sickness and little to no disease spread to my community tanks (once, but it was my fault) I'm 17, going on 18 and I know too much about fish. Thank you!! Our dog started picking on her wound after a spay surgery, but wouldn't leave the plastic cone alone. Jessie helped pick out an inflatable "cone," and it made a huge difference. Great to be able to get that locally when needed because sometimes even 2-day shipping isn't fast enough. Thanks!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Every time I go in there or call, it has been top care. I love it and we will do all our pet shopping there. It is so important to us to have good service because we live in a different town and have to drive. :)

Can be a bit expensive but otherwise a great shop, usually has anything I need and the owner is wonderful and very helpful. Only concern is the puppies from questionable places including some unethical backyard breeders.

Great little community pet store! Five star☆☆☆☆☆ recommend! We purchased birds last year that were completely non domestic never allowed my children to enter react with. Still till this day no touch birds. Purchased a parakeet from paw & claw pet placace last week. It literally has not left my 5 year old daughter's hair. I would recommend these very well loved domestic birds from paw and claw verse big brand named pets stores anyday!!!!! Godbless!!!!

The perfect place to torture yourself with kittens and puppies you cannot afford to own. An endless selection of pet supplies you dream of cluttering your house with. Wonderful staff that help with your endless masochism. My bank account trembles every time I enter the building. May I eventually actually buy something from there. The atmosphere allows happy tears to flow freely. Happy holidays everyone <3

If you're pet shopping anywhere else, you're doing it wrong! Jessie and her fabulous little helper are an absolute joy to do business with! They both are very helpful and respectful, keep a very tidy store and have the biggest hearts for all kinds of animals! You'll be treated with respect from the moment you walk in their door! If you have one pet to multiple pets, Jessie has what you need!In today's world life is always stressful but not here ❤️. They're truly amazing! We've gotten well over 50 fresh water fish (beautiful and growing strong) snails, aquatic plants, multiple tanks, kitty items, dog items and they even helped me surprise my husband for his birthday by tracking down apparently really hard to come by cichlids! ( Sorry for any headache that may have caused you Jessie!!) I see a lot of people saying that the shop is expensive but honestly, to us the extra is 100% worth it! Nothing can compare to not only a local shop but an amazing team and experience every time we go in!

Bought a “chihuahua miniature pincher”. This was my first dog ever. Vet said it was not a chihuahua miniature pincher and the dog kept getting bigger (she is 39 lbs now). Called the owner of the store just to let her know that the breeder she got the dog from probably lied (not looking for a refund). Owner was very rude over the phone. Owner deleted all her Facebook posts regarding the dog I purchased. DNA test confirmed my dog was a mixed dog with over 23 different breeds some of them being more aggressive dog breeds. The dog is mostly a husky and Rottweiler. We have had problems with this dog being aggressive and attacking other dogs. I love my dog and wouldn’t trade her for the world. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

Nice selection and very good with my 9 year old Golden retriever Molly. She got all those nails done quickly and efficiently. Plus she helped pick out a nice little treat and bandana as Molly's reward. I think Molly thinks her reward is coming to Paws and Claws to check out the fish and the birds...

I frequent this business for my aquarium supplies and couldn't be happier! They have everything you need.The owner is super friendly & helpful with everything. I even requested to order a fish and she was happy to help.I can't wait to visit again!Prices were also very reasonable, much better than other places I have ordered from. I enjoy stopping here for all my pets needs.

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. The woman who runs it (I assume the owner), is a GEM. The customer service is AMAZING and unparalleled. She special orders both our cat and dog food because we are picky pet parents. She always has our next order ready with a smile. I would never even consider buying at any other place in town or online because the service is so good. Thank you Paw & Claw Pet Palace!! My picky kitties love their special Natural Balance pink can cat food and my doggy will live a long, healthy life on his Fromm dog food.

So some background, I am a very experienced bird owner and former breeder... a couple months ago I made a 6hour round trip to this store to pick up a young bird that they had just gotten in. My own little bird had passed away shortly before I went to pick up this new bird... I was told over the phone that the bird was blood-tested and confirmed Male. I was also told that the bird had been raised hand fed.The store seemed pretty pleasant at first but when I saw the bird, I noticed that it’s feathers on its face were duller colored indicating that it was likely female. I simply said “oh! That’s a female!” And from then moving forward, they got combative telling me that I’m wrong and it is DNA confirmed, etc. and I, trusting the pet store owner, decided she probably knew best.The first thing I noticed from my experience as a breeder was that this bird was intact NOT HANDFED the bird was very fearful and defensive towards any hand movements and took months to train it out of the bird. The second thing was the bird started to show more aggressive behavior, especially towards girls, witch hinted at it being female. (Typically female birds bond male humans and vicea virsa... I am a girl... as I was planning on this bird to be my companion, it was very important to me that we be compatible.)I can’t tell you how much money I spent on vet visits and blood tests to confirm that this bird was ACTUALLY FEMALE!!! HUNDREDS OF $$$!!! I was more sad then upset... like I said I had just lost my own pet bird privy to this ordeal... and I knew that she could never completely bond to me... I was absolutely heart broken... still am.I called the pet store in hopes of a solution but all the owner did was shame me for wanting to give up my pet after a couple of months of bonding and training her. She avoided all and any responsibility blaming the distributer and the company that gave her the bird and her employees... this was not helpful whatsoever. She also avoided all of my calls after my initial one!!!I was so devastated and shocked at the lack of liability and solutions coming from this lady. I was never rude or abrupt, but she was very combative and made me feel so much worse. She finally offered me a refund and suggested that I drive back and give her the bird. I decided that I did not want to leave this little bird I had grown to love so much with this woman. I knew she would not find a good home for her, or any of her birds for that matter. So I elected to rehome her to a nice man I knew would take good care of her.I am still so sad about it to this day, but I know it’s what was best for her. But in conclusion- this place is ran HORRIBLY! The employees, especially the owner, are unprofessional, Uncompassionate, and Terrible to their pets and customers. PLEASE do not give your business to this place... Also, the birds were kept under lamps, which is very very bad for them and degrades their Health.

Travel for work and this is by far the best place I’ve ever gotten my corgi Koda groomed, she always looks adorable when I come to pick her up and she smells like a sugar cookie, I highly recommend taking your dog here either for a day of grooming or fun day of picking toys and treats. We love Paw & Claw!

This is an awesome place to go for all kinds of pets and accessories. We live about hour and a half drive away. We make the drive just to go there. We've purchased alot of accessories and pets. Alot of fish and even a hedgehog! We also have a chinchilla and two guineas. We buy all of our pets their stuff from here. The owner is a very nice and awesome person and knows alot. She also remembers her customers. This place is a must stop! Love this place!

The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. If you have any questions or need help finding something they are a huge help and if they dont carry it offer to order it or tell you other local places you can find it.
