Now Open! Employees are friendly and very helpful! I prefer to support local business as often as possible! However, having a chain like Dollar General in a small community like Cavalier brings in more options that would otherwise force a local to drive an hour away to get.

Hours are completely inconsistent — the store closes randomly as staff don’t show up for work. In the evenings, every light is on, but employees lock the door.Store is also a complete mess. Very frustrating that this is the only store within 30 miles.

I am so glad we have Dollar General here. I enjoy shopping there. Prices are reasonable. Very satisfied whenever I shop there. I have tried many of there brand items and like them. It is close so if they don't happen to have something when I am there it is close enough to go back at another time. John is always very helpful and pleasant and is a very dedicated employee.

One cashier inappropriately parents my child at checkout. Other than that, great service. They are so helpful that they are not always at checkout, but they get there as quick as they can.

Very nice store, especially for a smaller town, the manager was extremely nice and so very helpful. I would definitely shop here over Shopko every time.
