The rooms are large and clean. I thought the beds were very comfortable. So convenient having the bottle shop and lounge in the same building! The bottle shop has a nice selection of beers, wines and liquors. The lounge makes one of the grilled beef tips I have ever had.

The motel was nice, clean, and comfortable. But the restaurant was terrible. I waited a good half hour for any service. There was about 8 others in the restaurant and 2 servers. In 3 hours time I got 2 drinks. The french dip was just a bunch of chopped up burnt steak pieces. Than when I paid my bill he asked if I needed change and I said yes please. After seen him serve others over the next half hour I knew he was walking away with a 40 percent tip. Thanks for being robbers!

I eat her usually at least 2 to 3 times a month. It's one of the few places that offer take out in Cavalier. Food quality is great. I've never stayed in a room but every one I know who does has good things to say! The owners are super nice and if your lucky you might be there for one of the nights the have an Indian buffet or other speciality night!

Staff were friendly and room was clean, carpet throughout the building is new.Chain lock on our door was broken.Still use regular metal keys for the door, can't remember the last motel I stayed at that didn't use magnetic cardsbreakfast was terrible: no napkins, not even a roll of paper towels, 2 choices of cold cereal and both were sugary (fruit loops and frosted flakes), even Raisin Bran would have been an acceptable option, no peanut butter to put on the mini toasted bagels so no protein option at all, no fruit (even a basket of apples and oranges would have been nice)

The place was not thoroughly cleaned, pop can and beer bottle caps under the bed. the whole place is run down and poor lighting. The breakfast isn't much to look at. You have to pay $3 for a microwave- we are unsure whether u get to then use the community one in the lobby or have one carted down to your room :) It is non smoking, which is a plus. One good point- it has a nice warm shower. Overall much too overpriced-but to their advantage there is nowhere else to stay here.

This place is great! Stayed here a few nights while working in town and I was so happy to find everything I needed in one place. Great food (steaks are especially good) and great service. Bill, the bartender at the lounge, was fantastic and provided great conversation and service. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place to a friend. Thanks again to everyone here! Y'all rock!

Recently updated rooms which is nice. The rooms are clean, and comfortable. The a/c worked well.However, there is nothing substantial for breakfast so don't rely on it (just sugary cereal, sugary mini muffins & coffee), the shower in my room did not turn on, and the outlets in the room are shotty, you have to plug things in just the right way to get them to work.Overall okay, decent price, but would probably not stay again.

The only benefit to this hotel is the price. The bed is comfortable. The room and bathroom does appear clean. The sheets are outdated but one could get over that. Our first room had a shower that kept overflowing so we relocated and the second shower (water temperature and pressure) was great. Our second bathroom did have a mildew smell but a little bleach and water on the tile floor helped with that.I would suggest bringing your own food because there is no breakfast. I thought the restaurant opened at 11 a.m. but they told me at 5 p.m. Unfortunately this is no benefit to the guests who have to travel elsewhere for breakfast and lunch when you have a "restaurant" attached to a hotel.This hotel is great for a one or two night stay but no longer than that.

This place seems nice for my stay. The staff was quite freindly and the have a fantastic sense of humor. The rooms are clean, that's not much to ask for but for me that's fantastic. Wifi is spotty but they have it and is usable. They have a bar and a liquor store with average prices as far as i could tell. All in all this has been a pleasant stay so far. Breakfast though is very lacking. Cereal and some muffins. Mini muffins. Better off going down the street to the gas station for some food.

Stayed here 3 nights, the rooms could be cleaner. There was a bottle capbunder yhe desk who knows how long it was there. The front staff could be more attentive, it took a while to check-in. And I was not able to check out. No one would answer the phone. The rates were fair. Less pine sol and more attention to detail they would have an awesome place. I would not have paid any more for what I got.

We come every year for the CMRI and stay at this hotel. It is clean, well kept and the staff are super friendly. The food in the lounge is amazing and the on-site liquor store is great. We love staying here and hope to continue the tradition for years to come.

The motel is dated. There are no amenities such as soap in the rooms. The beds are unbelievably hard it is like sleeping on the floor but not as comfortable.the rooms were reasonably clean and very quiet. The front desk staff was friendly. There was a very strong and unpleasant musky odor in the room. It was not the worst motel ive stayrd in but i woul not reccomend it.

Awesome place to stay . Some issues with the hot water when showered. Great service and friendly staff. Free breakfast served in the morning. Liquor store and lounge connected to the inn.

I did not stay in the hotel, just visited the attached restaurant and bar for lunch. The food was pretty good. Service was expected for the area. The interior of the bar side (only part open for lunch) was expected for the region, reminds me of the American Legion back home. Location is convenient, on the south edge of town.

Unfortunately I came for work and it was the closest place to stay. It has a strange smell that's extremely pungent from the moment you enter. The whole place is incredibly dated - it looks like its from the 70's. The walls are cinder block painted white and the shower has hard water stains all over the chrome faucets. The blinds were caked in dust and the windows look as though they have never been cleaned.There is spotty Wi-Fi, but little to no cell reception in the rooms. If you can, stay out of town and drive in. This place is not worth it.

BEWARE OF THE OWNER. I asked to get a room for ONE NIGHT. The crooked owner filled out the paperwork and told me to sign the signature pad. She then handed me the paperwork and IT WAS FOR 3 NIGHTS. I was shocked and after thinking about told the corrupt lady I wouldn't stay at all. She told me she wouldn't charge my card BUT DID CHARGE IT FOR 3 DAYS. THIS LADY IS A THIEF. DO NOT TRUST HER.

Good for dinner food is good for rual nd. Its the basics, nothing over the top. Nice staff but slow service. Dated and food service freezer to fryer, shouldn't have to ask for lemon with fish.
