People weren't as friendly to me, even when I attempted to have our small talk. I spoke to a lady customer service rep. She didn't even acknowledge my statement towards her. When it was my turn to pay for my items, the cashier went outside on his phone. He came back eventually. During my check-out, he engaged with me, which I appreciated over being completely ignored.The products were nice, like usual. The store was kept clean and organized.

I like the convince of have a dollar store in town, so I don't have to drive all the way to Jamestown to get some things the grocery store doesn't carry... but... squeezing a squeaky pig to get assistance is a bit annoying and very unprofessional. I swear the workers see someone walking towards the front of the store and they dissappear. I've watched as they finish checking someone out and see a new customer approach and literally tell them they'll be right back and walk away!!

The Dollar General in Carrington provides many products that you can't find elsewhere in the town. I go there several times a week to purchase a variety of things. I especially like the fact that they carry food products and a refrigerated section with milk and eggs. They are open till 10 p.m. and really come in handy when nothing else is open in town. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The store is clean, well-organized, and the aisles are easy to navigate for handicapped access.
