Taking our 2 dogs to Kehau has been literally life-changing for our family. We have an 80 lb pup who had severe separation anxiety and aggression issues and after only one training session we saw a difference! We've done several more since then and our big boy is SO much happier and healthier and more confident now. So much so that now both our dogs are in the Canine Good Citizen class and we are seeing even more amazing changes!! Aloha did an amazing job with our boy Zeus. Zeus was not socialized as a puppy. He had bad habits and was reactive. After his first 2 weeks we could see a huge improvement. During our 2 week visit we were coached to understand what his training consists of and how to contine after he came home. After 4 weeks it was almost like a completely new dog. We were further coached on his progress. We were given hands on instruction out how to properly further his training. Any and all questions were answered. We could not be happier. Videos were posted and sent to us showing his progress.

Two of our dogs got attacked at the dog park a few years ago and one became very reactive. Kehau worked extensively with us in one-on-one sessions and group sessions to correct the behavior. She has since earned her Canine Good Citizen certificate! We have also done basic obedience and confidence building with our other two dogs. She has given us the resources and education to be able to properly continue training. I recommend her to everyone! We can’t thank her enough for helping us get our sweet baby back to how she was before the attack ❤️

We took our almost 3 year old mastiff in for the 6 week board & train for aggression. I am so incredibly thankful for the transformation he has made in that time. He is more relaxed, has been socialized with other dogs, people and kids and has been on so many adventures! Kahaulani helped build our confidence with working with him on our own also so we can give him the best life. Words can't describe just how thankful we are.

We took our 5 month old West Highland Terrier, Fergus to Kehaulani for a 4 week board/ train session and her results are nothing short of miraculous. We went from an anxious obnoxious mini-terror to a confident well behaved family member! He’s confident in his kennel now, he knows what to do around the house and is amazing to have out around town with us. He impresses everyone he meets. Thank you Kehau!! You’re a family saver.

We recently boarded out 3 dogs for the first time with Aloha. We where so happy we did! Amazing communication, huge hard, and best off happy dogs. I was nervous to leave them but know they where in great hands. She even made homemade ornaments with them over christmas! I highly recommend and will def be using them again

My husband and I really enjoyed our training experience. She had good information and clear tasks for us to practice at home. With the help of Kehau, my pup gained so much confidence after just one session! But it didn't stop there, she has helped me learn how to set clear boundaries for my dog which has made us both way happier! We will continue to use Aloha Pet Services for refresher courses in the future. Kehau doesn't only train your dog on the spot, she is always answering questions on the fly and quickly becomes a friend in the process. I can't thank her enough for what she has done! Our two dogs recently completed Board and Train programs with APS... our 3 year old dog for six weeks and our 11 month old puppy for three weeks. Before this training program we were at our wits end, and not even sure we could continue having these two dogs live under one roof! Our dog was attacking our puppy daily and displaying very aggressive behavior when out in our yard, on walks and any time anyone or anything would walk passed our house! Our puppy lived in a state of fear and acted out, thinking she needed to constantly protect herself. They could follow very basic commands, but really only listened if and when they wanted to. What we saw during tgeir training and when they got home were two, not completely different dogs, but two dogs that had become the best versions of themselves! They now kennel (without whining and barking) beside each other, eat together with no food aggression, play inside and out in the yard together, ignoring distractions with simple corrections, heel when walking, follow all commands quickly and easily, "place" on their beds any time we need them to stay put (when we're eating, when people are first entering the house, etc...) and are just generally more enjoyable! Of course sometimes they need reminders and/or corrections, but now we are equipped to do so, thanks to Kehaulani training us as well 😉The Board and Train program with APS was the best decision we could have made for our family!

Where to begin! APS has been amazing and have always gone above and beyond for me! I rescued a Doberman puppy in March 2021 and he did a 6 week Board and Train with Kehau to start work as my Service Dog. He is my first SD and I wasn't sure where to begind or how to train in some areas. APS was instrumental in laying down an amazing foundation with my pup. He has been back multiple times for daycare also and has a blast during those times.We just completed a 2 week refresher course. She has educated me on many new tools to make my boy the best companion he can be and to give him a full, happy life. I always know he is 100% safe and secure at her home anytime he is there.

Aloha Pet Services did a board and train for our heeler who was everything heeler. He had a mind of his own, and refused to listen. Almost immediately she taught him all the basics we needed to continue his training to be our herding dog. He now listens with one simple word and behaves in settings not only off the farm but in town and with distractions also. We highly recommend using Aloha for all your dog training needs. Not only is she great for those hard headed dogs, she is amazing for simple basic commands to get you and your dog on the same level. She will set you and your dog up for success and continue to help you in the future if you fall off the course and get you back on course with your dog. If we could give more then 5 stars we would!

As most dog owners know or can agree with me on this . Our pups are family .We love them with all Our heart and obviously always are looking for the best for them . In our case we have our husky and our Akita . We are very knit Picky when it comes to them as most can relate and will notLeave them with just anyone -Not even friends lol . Kehau has been our only go to when we leave town . We have left our babies boarding with her several times already and for many days (7+ days) . And each time, we leave knowing that are in very good hands. She is amazing and takes care of them as if they were her own . Now a days you truly have to look in depth on where you take your dogs as not everyone has the best at heart . If you have any doubts on servicing with this company , I would suggest to put them aside and try her out ! She truly is an amazing person with many many skills and actually takes good care of your dogs . We honestly couldn’t be happier with Kehau !!!

We were very nervous about leaving our dogs for the first time while we were traveling. Having a place where we knew they were safe, engaged, had fun and were being loved on was so important to us. Kehau did an amazing job! She kept us up to date on how they were doing and we had peace of mind that our pups were being well cared for while we were away. We did a reactive/leash training class as well as a 4 week board and train and it was nothing short of amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Kehaulani as a trainer. My dog used to make his own rules around the house and would not come when called. Now he listens attentively and follows commands. He knows how to place for an extended period of time. He used to terrorize the cats and jump on the kids, but now he and the cats get along great and he is able to control himself around kids. He no longer drags me along during walks and heels perfectly. I can now take him to my son’s baseball games and he will relax easily despite all the kids running around and balls rolling across the field in front of him. Everyone comments on how well behaved my dog is compared to theirs. 😃 The difference Kehau has made with my dog has been life changing.

These ladies really know what they are doing with aggressive/separation anxiety dogs! Our 3 year old vizsla did NOT like strangers(boarding/kennel/vet) so we did the 6 week board and train. He’s like a totally different dog. We can let people take him on his leash away from us with no issues now. He’s less anxious at home when we arrive from work. He knows SO many commands now and behaves like a show dog would. He’s become so much more independent. We felt good leaving him with them after hearing them talk in detail about the things they pay attention to in the dogs. We felt like he became part of their family and not just work for them. 1000% would recommend! Thanks again aloha!

Aloha Pet Services is amazing! Brought my 5 year old corgi mix to Kehaulani, he had problems with resource guarding, aggression and anxiety. Came back as a totally different dog with no signs of aggression or impulse control issues. Highly recommend.

I took my dog to Aloha for a 4 week Board and Train and I was amazed at the progress she made. While Dakota Jean has always been a "good dog," the training took away the unwanted behaviors and made her a confident companion. We just completed our first airline flight, number 1 of 3 this summer, and she handled it like a champ. Definitely a good investment.

Can I give 10 stars? She deserves every single one! Ganon had many issues but we were most concerned with his walking and fearfulness of new people. We've had him back for less than 24 hours and we've already noticed a vast improvement. We went on our first walk today around Oak Park and the surrounding neighborhood. I wanted to see him in action. He saw lots of people and walked by them without a care. We met some dogs behind a fence. I was nervous but actually switched sides of the street so we walked right next to the fence so I could see what he would do. He got a working correction for fixating a little too long and then walked right by all three of them as they barked the entire fence line. Is this even the same dog I left with her? Thank you so much Kehau. You've made our lives and his life much happier.

In brief, we are grateful to Kehau for giving our rescue dog a second lease on life as well as giving my husband and I our life back. We did the six week board and train as well as intermittent one on one sessions. We appreciate her commitment to our dogs, particularly our rescue dog who had severe behavioral issues (his story is posted on their website as well). We also appreciate her patience with us - it was a steep learning curve for us at times but she is committed to not only training the dogs but ensuring we felt confident continuing to implement the structure for our dogs to thrive. The crate training, recall, commands, resolved fence fighting, resolved leash pulling, resolved anxious aggression were amazing transformations but nothing more amazing than seeing our dog finally able to just be present in a calm state. She came highly recommended by a couple colleagues and friends, and I am so glad I took their recommendations! If you are reading this, I hope you do too!

11/10 recommend! A month after rescuing a 3 month old puppy (Kiko), I completed a few sessions with Kehau at Aloha, (solely stopped due to unexpected financial obligations). Kiko was extremely scared of every human and initially it was the same….for about 5 minutes. She just started listening to the one person out of so many she had encountered, even took treats. Each session, I would run out of things to ask her to train/teach Kiko, literally a dog whisperer! I have also used Aloha for boarding when leaving town, and tried another company in between those sessions to see how my dog would do elsewhere - It was cheaper, but was NOT worth it. You truly get what you pay for and it will benefit not just your dog, but you as well. At Aloha, structure is still enforced, they receive attention, playtime, lots of social/outdoor time, decompression, etc….not to mention, if you have a question or are in a fluster, Kehau will always assist in giving advice or help put you at ease. When I pick Kiko up from here, she is calm and relaxed, the other place….total anxiety basket case 🙁 Listen, I could go on and on. Take the chance, I promise it’s worth it! Aloha Pet Services has been a been life changing for me and my GSD's. My girl is extremely reactive with dogs and people. We are doing a board and train program currently and already see a change in her reactivity and ability to calm herself down and focus. My boy is an older rescue and we have done private lessons and are currently in a group class. Already seeing improvement in his ability to place and calm himself down.I would recommend Aloha Pet Services to anyone with puppies wanting to start out right to people with hard to manage issues or habits. They not only work with/on your pups but also show you ways to improve your interactions with them.

We highly recommend Kehau and Aloha Pet Services! Our Cassie was 7 months old when we dropped her off for the 4-week board and train. She was an attention-seeking puppy (in a lot of negative ways), impulsive and in desperate need of obedience training. As I had recently broken my foot and could not get around very well, we thought this was the most efficient way to get Cassie whipped into shape and Aloha Pet Services turned out to be money well spent! She returned to us as a well-mannered dog who listens to commands and knows her place. She is still a puppy who likes to have fun, but she knows her boundaries. We tested her abilities at a recent tailgating event at Minot State University. Cassie enjoyed the event but was not bothered by the people, smells of food or the general activity around her. She stayed in “her place” the entire time! Many people came up to us to mention what a great dog we have. We couldn’t agree more…thanks to Kehau!

Where can I start. This trainer knows what she is talking about. She doesn't sugar coat anything for you and she will lay it to you straight. Her methods work and she is not afraid to post videos of the animals she trains to prove that her methods work. She has a passion for animals and helping people and it really shows in her work. She can train anything from basic obedience to high anxiety and highly aggressive dogs. She trains you to train your dog so you can learn together and help build the bond with your dog. She is worth every penny!

Hank has been training for only 3 weeks and I saw results within just 4 days of our first training session with Kehaulani. Her techniques are easy to follow and effective, providing the desired results when you stick to the program. She always responds quickly when asked questions outside of our session and very professional. I’ve already recommended her to several friends. I adopted a 1 year old Doberman and instantly knew that I needed help with training him! He would run around the house, jump on furniture, pull us down the street on walks and never listened to our commands. She doesn't just train the dogs she helps to train the owners of the dog. She walks with you every step of the way and no matter when I have had a question or reached out to her she has always gotten back to me and has always been more than willing to help! My doberman is not a food driven dog so treats don't work for training him but she has found things that he loves to do and we use those in the training to make him stay focused and work on his skills. Personally I would not ever go to another trainer because I can tell that she loves helping people and she loves to see the dog grow into everything you wanted! 5 stars WOULD RECOMMEND!!!
