Just don't even bother trying to use the self check out here if you have any sort of alternative style, or are at all on the spectrum/adhd/different in any way. 3 times now I have had the same woman come up to "help" me at the self check out. Every single time she has gone through everything I was trying to buy and deemed me as a threat to them I guess. I say this because following the search every time she has forced me to move over to a manned check out isle, otherwise does not let me continue to scan my items and asks me to leave. Today was really the icing on the cake though. I don't even know why the machine said I needed assistance but it did. Upon showing up, the rude woman of Asian decent, proceeded to go through my bag and count my items one by one. She picked up 2 sports bras that had fallen out of my arms off the floor and counted those as bagged items even though they clearly weren't. And one other undergarment she found wrapped in a sweater that I must have just missed. I had been carrying like 30 items just in my arms at first, and shoved everything into a basket at the last moment before they closed for the night. So missing one tiny thing I would think would be understandable. But I guess not, because of how I look. The only reason I'm even giving the 2 stars is because they have a good selection of all sorts of products. Otherwise, I pretty much hate it there.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to find what I needed. My check out person had a good sense of humor. The store was well kept.

Definitely pay attention to dates in the meat department. This was on the 31st. Not the only one either. Quite a bit of out of date meat.

I've had some very terrible experiences at this Walmart. Native Americans get followed around by floor walkers. Young teens and children being watched like that are going to steal. The worst is going through the self check out. I wonder what the employees are told by management because no matter who they are they all act the same. They scrutinize and stand right because the Nativd families checking out. They were staring and watching a Native American family while a white woman on the other side was saying excuse me like 4x before she heard the woman. Then on the way out receipts are checked. North Walmart is a lot cleaner and they don't even have a greeter checking receipt. Big difference.

The selection was very limited today, the prices seem higher than other Walmarts, I had to call the check-out employee THREE times because if errors the register made with produce! But the employee was VERY personable and kind.

Can get hectic. The aisles get crowded with cart traffic just as bad as road traffic haha. But there is a sense of community, belonging, and kindness.

We had family and shopping to do there. With food sensitivities/ restrictions, they don't have everything at this store I can use with affordable prices, but they still have more than the smaller Walmarts. We order online as well, but it seems our government has made it tougher and things are no longer available that once were.

Why has shopping become political?? I had to listen to overhead announcement how Walmart is non-racial so they are highlighting the sale of products made by Black-owned companies. Ummm... Isn't that BEING racist? You are ONLY highlight products by Black companies??!! Really?! What about Asian, Hispanic, Native American, etc... oh! and White people too? Huh. Talk about pitting one race against all the others? Don't you think the other races are gonna be a little insulted by that???

Came in bought 100’s of dollars of groceries. Tried to go out the south entrance. Talked to some guys named Shawn who only knew 1 line “This side is closed” asked him a variety of questions yet could only get one line out of him “This side is closed”. I understand Walmart will hire anybody but I thought your job was to help the customer and he did nothing to help.

Walmart In Bismarck has a great variety of good food and much more. It is also one of the busiest food stores I have ever been in. It has a hectic feel to it every time I visit this store. Fresh food, although to rush, rush for me.

Store itself is fine for a Walmart. However, ordering online is dodgy at best. I live in an apartment and placed an order that consisted of two separate items. Both were delivered on the same day. One was brought inside as every other delivery company has always done and I received that item. The other was left outside and stolen by the time I got home. Delivery speed doesn’t matter if the company cannot ensure safe and competent delivery.This was my first online order with Walmart. I’ve lived at this address for multiple years and no other company has ever left packages outside. Their online support isn’t a real person and will run you in circles without offering any real support. This is almost certainly to fatigue their customers into either forgetting about or giving up on the process. Absolutely scummy behavior. I will be cancelling my Walmart+ and be sticking to other online options.

I stop here pretty Regularly. This Walmart is nice. When using self-checkout it always prompts me for a review. One day, I was having a frustrating day, and I was hungry. I stopped by the Hot Counter and Grabbed my food, which always tasted great. I went to pay; and because my card was defected by a recent trip to WI, I had to input my payment information 6 times. I regularly stop by, and I have not seen the woman, Whom regularly serves people at the counter, which saddens me: that the brunt of my anger was affected at her, and not the policy of Walmart to disallow chip card or contactless payment methods.

I constantly feel stressed and frustrated in this store with all the rearranging and moving things around. I wish you wouldn't have to go in the app to figure out what isle you need and that the aisles were more clearly marked rather than on the end cap.

Don't ever buy these burgers or burgers that don't tell you what the fat content is. It was the biggest grease fire I had ever had, and the burgers shriveled to nothing.

If you love a fabulous selection of plants and earthly love you'll love that department. The grocery pickup you can't beat, even if you don't have kids who really wants to walk around for hours. Very quick, most wait was 10 min. At busiest times.

The only reason I gave this Walmart 5 stars, they do not have any standing at the exit doors demanding to see your receipt for items you just purchased.I no longer allow them to see my purchase. Accuse me of stealing and call the cops, and then you'll get my receipt.
