We went to look at the fish and was sorely disappointed. They have a decent selection but they take no pride in the appearance of their tanks. Most, if not all of the aquariums are in real need of cleaning. The managers should take more pride in their store.

Jessica was the absolute worse when it came to communication and clarification for grooming our dog. She shaved our dog's guard hairs off completely and took more than half of her undercoat. While our dog is now in shock due to the cold weather, we now have to absorb the cost of a jacket and vitamin supplements to ensure her coat grows back in as best as possible.I requested via phone with the in-store manager David to have the grooming department manager call us... unexpectedly. Jessica called and had very snide remarks to my wife about the situation.Filed a complaint at the corporate office and asked for the general manager of the stores location to call so we could discuss this more in depth as Jessica was "unavailable" when we came in, nor did she make any efforts to be available to apologize.Would ***NOT*** recommend this groomer without pictures for her to visually see the expectation(s).*Still haven't received a call from the GM either.Petco: Pets to the majority of owners see them as extensions of our families. Quite a bit more care is needed in situations like this rather than just offering a refund. Maybe in situations like, this losing a few dollars, a bad review, and a loyal customer is worth more than the extra mile in customer retention, trust & relationships.

While the selection at PetCo is good, I hate that every time I go in to the store, I see owners with their dogs on prong and/or shock collars. I wish PetCo would adopt a company-wise policy that bans these archaic tools from their stores. Dog training has evolved, along with how society respects and values dogs. These tools are inhumane, not necessary and disrespectful to those of us who believe in treating dogs humanely and with compassion. After witnessing, yet another person harshly treating her prong collar wearing dog at one of your stores, I cannot continue to purchase my pet supplies there. I will be now spending my money at another pet supply company.

My groomer Katie (Bismarck location) exceeded my expectations! She was very informative, knowledgeable, patient, personable, and caring/gentle with my corgi. Although corgis are known to be vocal and at times, difficult, she knew the best approach in taking care of him. When asked how he behaved, she provided positive yet constructive feedback- which was very much appreciated! She stated that it was clear that he was not a fan of getting his nails done, while also providing reassurance that with continued appointments and exposure to having his nails trimmed, that he would be a pro in no time as he would build a tolerance as he became accustomed to the services. Overall, I would highly recommend Katie for any (and all) grooming services- all thanks to her professionalism, quality of care, and passion for providing care and nurturing to animals!Brutus also got a new (jalapeño patterned) handkerchief to match his ~spicy~ personality, all thanks to Katie and her team at Petco for providing such quality services!

I've really enjoyed going to this Petco for my pet needs. The staff are knowledgable, down to earth, and very helpful. My roommate and I have gotten all sorts of fish and some aquatic plants from here and all have been healthy (no ick problems!). We recently added another green cheek to our flock from this Petco and he is in great health & has all needed documentation. The staff were happy to tell us about his behaviors and the type of chop he got daily.We are excited for him to warm up to us more and look forward to many years with this boy!(Petco bird is turquoise, the other one we got from Minot and is wet from a bath 😅)

I had an appointment today for my 13 yr old dog to get a bath and desheding. It has been scheduled for over a month. I got a call two hrs before the appointment saying it's against Petco's policy to provide these services to a dog that age.They never meet the dog and have no idea of his stress level. Everything was based on his age. We saw nothing on the website or app that dogs 13 yrs old are not acceptable.

I have a bearded dragon and anytime I buy a thing of insects and they are dead (most) they replace it with ZERO hassle. April, heather and Donald ( there was 1 more gentleman but I didnt catch his name with glasses) where great and have helped tremendously. You guys are the only place I'll buy my stuff for him. Thanks!

Not organized. Looks like a warehouse instead of a store. Had to search for help finding a product. Maybe it's just us. But with competitors so much nicer, cleaner and definitely more organized, even if o have to pay a little more for Petsmart or one of the small mom and pop shops I would rather do that then try and find my way around this store. Not sure about prices because they didn't have anything we needed.

The staff here are more than willing to help, always cheerful, and making sure you're getting the most out if petco! I love coming here and it's a clean store. Should fix the angle of the roof to allow better water drainage

Kayla, the fish expert, (what I call her) is absolutely amazing. She has helped me so much with my salt water tank. She helped me grow and learn so much. She is truly an amazing, genuine person also. She is kind, very patient and all around great person. It is because of her that I keep coming back to Petco. I don’t know what I would do if she was no longer there. Thank you Kayla for everything you have done for me. I enjoy my tank so much more because of you.

Kayla (mgr) was so very kind, helpful and understanding when we brought in our baby dragon that had died very unexpectedly and gladly helped us with the new one we wanted. She also gave us a ton of tips on the Vital care plan, which I'd never heard of, but signed up for. She actually showed me on MY phone how to take advantage of some of the features. Plus, the male checker that day seemed to be having a ton of fun at his register. He didn't help us, but you can tell he loves his job and really wants to be there! As a Customer Care Manager, those type of people are a rare and invaluable find. I hope employers really recognize that in this day and age of businesses closing due to lack of reliable workforce.

We have now used Petco grooming twice and have been super happy with our services. We have a golden retriever. After our first grooming we knew that we wanted the cut a bit shorter the 2nd time around. Our groomer listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted. Our dog is treated very well while she is there also. We always have a happy pup when we leave.

The groomers did a great job with my 2 black labrador retrievers. Took about 2 1/2 hours and $200 for deluxe de-shedding grooming, nails buffed, breath refresher, ears cleaned.

Grooming services were well priced. My groomer went above and beyond in my pups groom. He had a hard time with the dryer so she took it slow with him. When I picked him up he looked much better and had a cute bandana. Had a great chat with my stylist before and after my appointment. My only complaint would be that the salon could be easier to get ahold of.

This store is continually improving. Adding new displays or products. The staff is almost always helpful. I do take advantage of the curbside pick up since summer of 20. I've always been able to receive my order the same day and the clerk will load it in for me also!
