Very friendly guy very informative too. They have mostly all salt fish. Their fish look very healthy an beautiful colors. Love their options for soft coral so lovely to look at. I'd recommend and I plan to visit again when I get my other Salt tank completed and running. Just was looking for the fresh water this trip so had to go to another place.

Josh has been incredible. He would set up, maintain, and help my dad before he passed. They became good friends. He's always professional, very good at taking time to show us how to do things on our own, and super knowledgeable and friendly. We've had nothing but exceptional service from Oceans Paradise.We also have had incredible service and knowledge from Fire 'n Ice in the same building.We really appreciate how both businesses take time to know you and help you know how to best care for your new family members. This place seems small and unremarkable from the outside, but it is well worth a stop. Josh was very friendly and helpful. I had no idea what type(s) of fish were right for my aquarium, so he walked me through the entire store and helped me pick exactly what was right for me. He was helpful and patient with all of my beginner questions. I planned to spend $300-$400, and walked out with a bill under$200. I will be back soon, and encourage my friends to do the same

The staff is always helpful and have a multitude of services available for aquarium needs. They have always been able to get me what I wanted! Josh and Brandon are great to work with!

The owner knows he has a monopoly in the area and has zero customer service skills. Staff are pompous and condescending as is the owner. They are knowledgeable, but they rarely pass that knowledge on and treat customers like ignorant annoyances.I prefer KT and the big box stores or even ordering online. Plus they are way overpriced even for a local business.

Thank you Oceans Paradise for finding us a tank! We had tried to order a tank from another LFS but after 6 weeks of waiting we called these guys. We picked up our tank the next morning! It’s bigger and less expensive then the one that never showed up. Josh was very helpful with rock selection and tank set up. You’ve made life long customers. Thanks again!

Last year, I would have given this place 4 stars. But seeing the condition of the tanks that they house fish in lately is awful. Aiptasia in the small tanks with the fish, some of them really large. Purple cyano everywhere, fairly limited selection, but it was a day after black friday. I would not currently add anything from this store into my tank.

They are just desperate to make a sale!!!Ocean paradise is overly priced and while they do know their stuff about fish, they will do anything to make a sale even if it means killing a fish. They are very willing to sell beginner aquarists “expert only” fish without saying a word or informing that person about the fish. I also don’t think they’ve ever given me advise without also trying to sell me something. I understand it’s a business that needs to make a profit, but that’s all they are doing is trying to make a profit. They do not have the people in their best interest at all.

Called with a fish disease question and whoever answered was not very nice and not at all helpful. Problem was described clearly but this person said he couldn't help without seeing the fish. How would I do that? I'm pretty sure I know what the disease is just not clearwhich product to use so was hopeful they could help. Guess not.Good news. A couple hours later I've had my question answered so my opinion has changed about this store. My initial encounter wasn't good but they've redeemed themselves by helping me.

Not sure if its the same owner but usually whenever I came in he wpuld rather talk to his friends than help me. I gave up going there because nobody ever helped me. This was quite awhile ago, hopefully it changed now. They really have a great variety and extended knowledge.

Josh is very helpful when trying to trouble shoot issues and knows his animals and plants well! He will never sell you something that won't go well with your tank.

Most tanks were pretty nice bought shrimp they were perfectly fine but do not but the guppys since the tanks over crowded the guppys i just bought were infested with worms

I don't know about some of the bad reviews on here about fish but all the fish I buy it from there live maybe it's because you're not quarantining your fish properly or acclimating them properly so it's kind of hard to say I know that when I've had emergencies with my tank Josh came out in the middle of the night to get me a new tank because mine started leaking so I don't know about your experiences but mine's been pretty good so five stars that's how it is

I have more luck with fish from petco surviving then from this store. I have bought 8 fish and 2 are alive. My aquarium is 135 gallon's and has been setup for 6 yrs so definetry not my fault. Everytime I buy a fish from here it's like dumping ich onto my fish

Great place, but if they are going to run a specialty store such as this then they should provide an emergency number to call when closed. We atw dealing with live animals here.
