My husband recently visited Ace Hardware in Beulah, ND, with the intention of browsing. However, he found the initial lack of assistance concerning, as no one approached him until he was leaving. When a staff member finally did approach, it was unfortunately marred by a judgmental demeanor, as if he were being viewed with suspicion. This experience left him feeling offended and unwelcome, to the point where he has no intention of returning. I would caution others to steer clear if respectful and attentive customer service is important to them.

I get all my paint and painting supplies from them. Always great customer service. It's super convenient to have something down the street instead of driving all the way to Bismarck or Mandan.

Great local store has everything that you need and more. They are more than helpful to load you up with all of your product if you need. Only reason I give it a four-star instead of a five is prices are just a bit high is all. That being said you get what you pay for correct?

They carry a very good selection of quality brands of tools. Also salesman are very knowledgeable about tools, fasteners, and plumbing. Purchased a trimmer, and they adjusted the harness, ran it, demonstrated how to service it. Great store! I've done a lot of trimming in my day and I learned some things.

Went in to check prices on a deep freezer. Monica the owner showed me and explained a few things. I flat out told her I just wanted to see prices or if it was better to just go to bismarck. She got an attitude so I left. Went to hardware hank in hazen and purchased one there.

J&M Hardware --- Beulah, ND --- visit on 6-15-21I stopped by J&M Hardware to purchase some rachet load straps to secure some heavy freight that I unexpectedly had to transport in my FMC Company Pick-up truck. This is not something I normally do, but knew had to secure the load more safely; just wasn't really sure what I needed, or just exactly how I needed to operate the rachet straps.The modern, clean and remodeled location on Highway #49 was identified by an easy to read sign. Upon entering the store, I was almost immediately greeted and asked "How can I help you?" by the store owner, Mr. Jerald Isaak. After explaining my situation, Mr. Isaak sold me the load securing equipment I needed and even went way "above and beyond" by accompanying me to the parking lot and himself, helping me work the equipment and securely strap in the load for transport. Thanks Mr. Isaak, you saved my day!!This whole experience is a wonderful example of true, home-town expertise and hardware store service. The Big Boxes fail greatly regarding such levels of helpful service, but thank goodness the Gerald Isaaks and their staffs and stores are still an option for consumers like me, desiring a higher level of quality goods and the knowledge about how to best use them.I would rate this whole experience with J&M Hardware in Beulah, ND a rousing "10 out of 10!"Robert Weigelt

The service there was great!Ace Hardware website said that that store carried a product that they didn't. Felt bad for the employees trying to find it. But thats a corporate problem. Not the local store.
