I recently dined at this establishment and was impressed with the quality of the food. However, the service was subpar. Despite being a frequent Google reviewer, this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a negative review. My waitress seemed disinterested and unhelpful when I asked for recommendations, responding with a shrug and a vague statement about people having different preferences. After taking my order, she failed to check in on me throughout the meal, only returning to drop off the receipt without making eye contact or speaking. The one bright spot was a tall, slim female waitress who showed kindness and attention, though she wasn't assigned to my table. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, the service was disappointing and left a sour taste in my mouth.

We were very concerned about coming to this restaurant based on such mixed reviews. Because there are limited eateries that serve more then burgers and chicken fingers in a sixty mile radius we took a chance. Are we glad we did. We went during lunch time and when we walked in we were told to sit anywhere we would like. They were very busy, but within 5 minutes our server Jessica, greeted us and took our drink order. Within another 5 minutes our order was taken. We ordered a rueben sandwich and salad bar. Both were fresh and delicious. With a senior price of 6.99 for soup and salad bar it can't be beat it. Salad bar was small, but clean with a large variety, even pickled herring! Borscht was the soup and it was delicious. The rueben was flavorful with good crispy marble rye. I would have liked Russian dressing instead of thousand island but it was comparable. Server checked on us refilled our waters and we were out of there for under $20. I'm not sure if I just caught a good day but I am definitely going to eat there often as I am in town for work and it's the best I've found.

We went for the prime rib special. They have a beautiful salad bar with lots of choices, and homemade soups which are very good. I gave this establishment 4 stars due to my medium well being way overcooked.The staff is great, and everything else was perfect. We really like this local gem.

Scramled eggs were not scrambled and rancid. Wife vomited. See attached photos. While full refund was given, will not eat here again. If you the eggs. Smell before eating. On the brightside, the service was fantastic.

Food was really good but service was terrible. We sat for over 15 minutes before I asked for menus. Took her a solid 10 minutes to come back with drinks and take our order and another 20-30 minutes to get our food. Had to ask for refills while we ate and we were never checked on until our food was gone. It was busy at the time but the one waitress they had on was lumbering around like she had nothing else to do while the manager was delivering food and another gal from the back was taking orders. All the while every time she walked by the table she complained about how busy it was. Just not a great dining experience.

This is not my first review of this gem of a restaurant. I visit Beulah every once and a while, and have to say THIS has become my favourite restaurant in North Dakota. And for several reasons. I usually end up with either Elaine or Amanda taking care of me and genuinely look forward to it! Greeted with a cheery Hello Joe! Makes this outsider feel like one of the locals. Maybe not a big deal to some, but it seems wonderful to me! Then there is the Salad Bar, one of the freshest salad bars that I have ever eaten at! I doubt there is any item on it coming out of a jug or a container!!! Wish I knew the name of the lady who works so hard every day to make it so good! The rest of the menu from all day breakfast to Steak , fish etc is nice. And the Specials including Swedish specials and GREAT homemade soup just put it over the top! If you are visiting Beulah or just passing through I recommend a stop at the Country Kettle, you WILL NOT be sorry!

Server was rude and never once checked on us. We had no drinks but the time food came and she just totally ignored our table. Tiffany was her name and she has done this twice to us. Can u say need new servers

Gross and greasy. The prices were really high for the quality and taste. The fish was super dry. The onion rings were tasty but needed salt. You could repair walls with the white gravy. The chicken nuggets were terrible and contained very little meat. The coleslaw was good. The country fried steak dinner was tiny and gross.

This place gets worse and worse. The help is utterly ridiculous. Had questions about our bill, Tiffany said well if you'd keep your big mouth shut I could explain. Never refilled our drinks. Her kids running rampant through there. This place needs different help!!!!!

The cooks Shawn and Clarence are amazing the waitresses Liz and Andrea were excellent and polite. The food was amazing and it was an all around amazing experience, good food great staff I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable sit down meal!!

I have posted two other times on this restaurant over the past few years.Had a month long stay in Beulah and ate here virtually every day. Country Kettle is a true little gem. The salad bar ,again, is exceptionally good with freshly made on site salads that are quite inventive. And the Soups!!! Made fresh here as well. The Borscht is superb Several German and Scandinavian dishes on the menu and specials. The three waitresses that end up taking care of me Amanda,Elaine and Mel are friendly and fast! I can't wait to get back to Beulah and the fresh food at The Kettle! (P.S. I had the sirloin steak for lunch ,cooked absolutely perfect! )

If I could give this place zero stars I would.We have went in MULTIPLE times to eat and the service is terrible. On three different occasions there were people who came in AFTER us getting menus/drinks before someone even came to our table. They definitely lost our service. Today after waiting for over 15 minutes at a DIRTY table and a waitress walking by us 5 times without even acknowledging we were there, we walked out.

Friendly people. I was visiting my parents, and we were late having our meal. Staff allowed us to stay and finish our meals even though they were closing up. Watching the interactions between the waitress and customers was amazing. They treat everyone as family.

This place doesn't deserve even one star. We waited 48 mins for our order, keep in mind this is a small establishment & there weren't many customers at the time. When we finally got our food, it was cold and there was a hair in one of the dishes. The waitress didn't check on our table, so I had to get my own ranch from the salad bar. Locals stared at us all through our visit in the restaurant. Creepy little town with disgusting food. Yuck. Never going there again.

It's your typical home town, local café. They have burgers, sandwiches, and a few other options. They have removed many dinners and options from their menu, which is disappointing because Beulah has way too many burger and sandwich places and not enough "home style" dishes. I would say the breakfast is the strength of this place an d the prices aren't bad. The salad bar is small but acceptable, and they have good soups. They didn't seems to have any desserts on the menu, which is odd for this style of restaurant. Overall, if you are in Beuah for the day or a while, it's worth a visit.

The beef barley soup and meatloaf were both very good. I thought the mashed potatoes tasted like boxed mix. Service was good as it always is. I recommend it.

Customer service is terrible. Went to eat there. No waitress for an hour. Salad bar was empty. Came out with wrong order. A person from another table that was there with her family got up and started waitressing even though she doesn't work there. All I can say is "WOW "
