I visit and shop almost every day at this dollar general. My wife and I have probably bought about everything under the sun in this store, today was my last day to enter this store ever again. Having never had but good experiences in the past I can say this experience was the absolute worst in my lifetime, you see I’m 67 years old ant this morning I entered the general to handle some needful business. Walking in ( and I’m crippled)down the main isle I encounters a black haired rather tall skinny employee who was busy searching for a beverage for him to enjoy. Being crippled I ask him if he could allow me 6 inches so I could go on about my shopping. I was I guess what you call pure shock when he ordered me to go around. To call his attitude rude is an understatement. He then pushed hard on the open beverage door to remove me because he wanted to exert his power over me. I pushed back where the edge of the door bumped him in the top of his head( no scar, no bruise , no blood, is was the light bump of the door. He started yelling assault threatened to call the law and then proceeded to do just that. I walked over to the clerk at the counter where a slightly pudgy brown haired gal denied accepting my payment, I then left in absolute wonderment to what had just happened, as I said my last attempt to do business again at this store. It’s hard to imagine some of the clueless incompetent people out their in the workforce today. My father would have busted my butt for treating one of his customers this way. Well anyway I’m just sitting here waiting on the charges this complete idiot has made against me

Was subcontractor for a security company based out of another state, I walked into this store as an installation professional sent with a work order by the company that hired me out to install equipment in the store. The moment I arrived in the store, the actual manager of the store a small short lady very rudely for no reason told me I wasn't going to install anything in her store, she demanded to see parts of my work order that were not part of her business, I drove three hours to do an install at this store and she turned me away simply because she had premeditated prejudices against me, she knew I was coming before the work order had already been issued and stores had been scheduled. Very bad experience, the management is very unprofessional.

Forced to use the self-checkout line as no employee was at the front, and I needed an employee to verify my ID to purchase beer. Eventually a man came to the register to help the people stuck behind me to check them out only for him to let me know he isn’t allowed to verify my ID, it’s the manager’s call. When I asked for the manager he said he wasn’t sure when she’d be back. What??? After 5 awkward minutes of waiting I left my cart and left without purchasing anything.

I really hate giving 2 stars because this is a great DG. For the most part the store is clean, neat and organized unlike some I’ve patronized but they’ve been closing at 6 pm for the last 2 months and still closing at 6. I understand there are staffing issues but this is very inconvenient especially when you don’t get home until after 6 and realize you need something. Losing a lot of Revenue. Hope to update this rating soon!

Absolutely the best Dollar General in Henderson County. Its always clean, organized and stocked. The manager cares about her store and has hired good employees that are nice and care about how the store's appearance is.

The place is stocked as well as can be expected with the limited number of staff. The manager is a fine lady but she is overworked. Friendly service as always.

Couldn't buy any thing because they had a sign that says no 50s or 100s so dont waste your time buying any thing unless you plan on spending 5 bucks or less 😆
