My daughter is there as a first year counselor, and let me just say that I am amazed at the preparation and care this camp takes in training the counselors to provide THE BEST experience for campers. This camp is incredible and if my daughters were still young enough to send to camp- this would be the place!!! This camp has very high expectations for the counselors. It’s a great learning experience for her!My older daughter worked at a really nice camp in Maine and had nowhere near the preparation and training that my daughter at Greystone has had.Thank you, Greystone!!!

If you want the BEST camp for your daughter this is it!! Everything is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. They have the best of the best…. The best staff and counselors, the best food, the best property, the best cabins…. And so much more. We come all the way from Texas each year to bring our girls to this magical place.

I’ve been going to camp for awhile and for me and my sister it has been truly an amazing experience. Away from your phone and all the outside world, we call it the Greystone Bubble. My first year I remember being so anxious about making friends, but everyone is so sweet and welcoming. Everyone at camp is really interested in being your friend. My best friend I made 5 summers ago is still my best friend even though she lives states away. I have a few summers left and am so excited to continue! My sister is going to be a counselor this summer and we are both so grateful that our parents have made the sacrifice to send us. It is not a cheap camp, but is SO WORTH IT. I have never felt alone. They always will help you no matter the problem. I have absolutely enjoyed everything. The counselors were so sweet and really want to get to know you. You are able to try new foods, activities, and experiences. You get so much out of it physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. (hint Jimboy talks about all at breakfast club:) !! Thank you so much Camp Greystone.

This camp is magical. I have gone the past 2 years and it is the most amazing experience ever. Greystone is heaven on Earth. The staff isn't the staff. They're your friends. The food, oh my gosh, the food is AMAZING. The cabins are clean and nice. The activities are so fun and creative. Everything about it is wonderful. I don't cry except when I leave Camp Greystone.

My daughter has gone to Camp Greystone the last 4 years. She didn't know anyone attending the camp but that did not detour her from finding sweet friends!! Greystone does a great job of making girls feel right at home and included. Each year she connects with old friends from years past and meets new girls that have never been to Greystone. Greystone has been a special place for our 11 year old daughter, and will continue to be for many years to come. She said, right before camp this summer, "I wish I could live at Greystone".

One of my children attended for two years, and another for one year. Definitely think the camp could be doing a better job on staffing. I was contacted while my older daughter was there for the June camp. The cabin counselor I guess felt my daughter wasn't washing enough (the girls are allowed 3 minute showers), and contacted the group counselor for the cabin, who in turn contacted me. Had the camp hired more competent, maybe older counselors to oversee the groups of cabins, I wouldn't need to be contacted at all. That counselor told me that my daughter should not apply for main camp. The dialogue communicated was that my daughter was gross. I was also told that the other girls were still being nice to my daughter. My daughter went for a good time, and instead she was tacitly judged the entire time. Coupled with the photos of the camp staff dressed up and covered in shaving cream having a great time with the older girls, as the younger girls watched from the grass - I will being looking for a new camp. My younger daughter had an awful experience with one of the girls in her cabin bossing everyone around. Wow. I really think the camp should review their mission statement and their webpage, and contemplate what is going on. The cabins are not independent of the influences of social media and the counselors I dealt with were weak. This was our experience.

I've been going to Greystone for four summers and I absolutely love it! From awesome activities and evening programs to friendships that I will cherish forever, it is just an amazing place! You grow in so many ways and just feel closer to God when you are there. The counselors love you so much. You can be completely yourself because you know that everyone loves you no matter what. I will continue to go until I'm no longer able!!!!!

I am a parent and I gladly send my daughter to Camp Greystone. I am also a former camper and counselor. Camp Greystone is an oasis in today's crazy world our children live in. At Camp Greystone they celebrate and encourage the stuff that great childhood memories are made of. The owners and staff pour their hearts into all they do and the love of Jesus is at the center of it all. The message the girls receive is that they are enough...they are loved for who they are, not what they post.If my daughter carries a fraction of the messages with her, she will be better off. At camp being kind is cool. The younger girls see teenagers who love Jesus and have fun. These are the role models I want for my child. They are unplugged and away from the comparison trap of social media. Friendships are encouraged and celebrated. Of course, the campus and activities are top notch, but I don't send my daughter there for that....it is simply icing on the cake.Camp Greystone has a unique mission and that is to fill my daughter to the rim with love and acceptance. They do it well.Camp Greystone is an oasis. It is sweet, loving, old-fashioned, modern, and fun.

It is my second home and the best place on Earth.Edit: I just got back from my 5th year at camp and cried when I got home and the night before. The banquet theme was the Greatest Showman, and it was absolutely amazing. The table song "I don't wanna go home" we sing there truly represents how I felt. Greystone is the most magical place on Earth and I can only say good things about it. I will treasure my time there forever.

Camp Greystone is by far the most AMAZING place ever! I am so blessed to be able to call it my home away from home. At Greystone, everyone is so kind and accepting; there has never been any drama whatsoever and only lovingness! Do not hesitate to come here at all, it does not fail to succeed. I have made some of my best friends here and have been prepared for so much in life. Most importantly, Greystone has allowed me to grow that much closer to God. I have always been very Christian but coming to camp just made me that much more! Taking the Bible class offered to is a GREAT idea as it explains all the questions I ever had! From beautiful Sunday services to morning assembly devotions, Jesus is at camp in every way possible. Kindness and Christ radiates off of everyone and that’s just makes camp even more enjoyable! I am so exited to come back in 8 days for the 100th! Thank you greystone for shaping my faith and showering me with love and friendship💖💖💖

Amazing experience for my 8yr old, I was nervous about the idea of dropping her off without knowing anyone for her first camp experience. When we arrived to check-in I was impressed. The process was smooth and very reassuring to this nervous mom, everyone was so loving and full of joy. My daughter is smiling in every picture, she's found her happy place!!

My mother and Daughter have been lucky enough to be part of many a Greystone Summer! They both have shared many wonderful stories of adventures, life friendships made and the love of God. There many always be a bump in the road from time to time, but for each bump a new strength grows. I feel very lucky as a mom of a teenage daughter that she wanted to spend 5 weeks every summer "unplugged ".

All 3 of my daughters have been and currently are campers here. I can not accurately put into words to describe how wonderful Camp Greystone is. If you want your daughter to have lifetime memories and friends, this is the place for them.

Our daughter has gone here for several years. It is a true slice of Heaven!!! Another competitor camp states on their website "Camp xxx is not a religiously affiliated camp..... We believe religion is something that parents can best foster at home, and camp can be committed to more general human values we can all ascribe to." I couldn't disagree more and think the more our children are exposed to their Christian upbringing in today's world, the better. General human values while at camp should be a given right? Anyway, if you are looking for an amazing Christian based camp with loads of history for your daughter then Camp Greystone is what you are looking for.

This camp is amazing. This year will be my 5th year going. my grandma went there, her mom went there, so on so fourth. It is my second home. This year, I pray to G-d that Main Camp doesn’t get cancelled. With times like this, its all me and other campers have to look forward too. Anyways, almost every day I think of this camp. I love Jimboy’s breakfast club. I love carnival (what a classic!) Well, what do I not love! Its the most beautiful place on earth! Please send your daughter here. You wont regret it one bit!

Camp is my FAVORITE place ever!!! I love making new friends I made 5 amazing girls from Dallas and even went to spend my birthday with them! Of course the best part about camp is feeling so close to god and feeling good about yourself there because everyone is so uplifting! I am so excited to spend my 7th summer at greystone!

Without a doubt this is my favorite place in the whole wide world. No doubt. The love for Jesus here is so prevalent and strong, you can't deny it. The classes are amazing, the food is the best there is, and the people are the best I've met in my life. Jimboy and his wife, Dr. Margaret, care for this camp and the girls with their whole heart. Everything they do is for the campers. I love this place, the greystone bubble is so real. Greystone will forever be my home.

My friend who goes to Greystone with me texted my cabin this. Her name is Caroline. I was supposed to attend June camp this year and it was sadly cancelled. I’ve been so upset but when Caroline sent this it just made me even more excited to attend Main Camp 2021!!If it wasn’t for greystone, I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today! Greystone made me realize that you always have something to be grateful for. And if it wasn’t for greystone.... I wouldn’t have met any of my bestest friends. greystone doesn’t hurt people, it only helps people. It helps people to find their true selves by being such a fun and amazing community with great girls!! You never feel lonely nor sad. It is the best environment to live in, even if it is just for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or even 5 weeks! At greystone, there is no such thing as being lonely or feeling like the world is collapsing. You are surrounded with people who WANT to get to know you and people who will have your back regardless the situation! I love y’all and camp greystone!💗❤️😘, Caroline

If I could leave negative stars on this camp, then I would.I was kicked out of this camp the summer after fifth grade because of my lesbian mother and Jewish father. The director of this camp Laura, told my mother that I punched another camper and that’s why I was kicked out. I never punched anyone.Instead let me tell you a couple of things that happened. My mother and her (now) wife wrote me that summer telling me about the national legalization of same-sex marriage. In this letter they included a small folded up print out of a rainbow flag. I put this up on my bunk and that night I was pushed out of the window of my top bunk in TU2. This happened again the next night as well. (Why do you think there are wooden bars on the windows?)When I was not badly physically hurt by this, I was pushed off of a swing and had my wrist broken by an older girl. I still have a scar on my left wrist from this incident.I was pulled out of my cabin multiple times by senior counselors and told that I was not allowed to talk about my lesbian mother. I was eleven. I was also told that I was required to be Christian, even though I still went to all services, I was Jewish. I didn’t mind this until it became borderline anti-Semitic by the older girls at the camp and nobody cared.I had night terrors many nights and went to the health hut and they gave me a ginger ale and sent me to bed, not caring at all about my mental health. This all said:Before my mom came out, I had a wonderful time at camp. I went for four years and loved it. My mom also went to this camp when she was younger. If you enjoy this camp then good for you, but if not, if you are not the cookie cutter girl that they want, then don’t go. It left me with some serious issues. I found myself in a deep depression after that, I would not in any way fully blame my depression on this camp, but it was definitely a factor.Camp Greystone was a home to me and my family and they kicked me out because I was different. They were family. Jimboy and his family were very important to me and the movie “The Princess Bride” still strikes a chord with me.Surprisingly enough, this is the camp that made me figure out that I am queer, so that is interesting... However, I would never feel safe stepping back on the grounds of this place. It is not Christian. Christianity is love, this was pure hate. Camp Greystone, my story needs to be heard.

Why hello there.I went to camp for 6 years and loved it. This year, not so much.Sure, the camp instead was great, but there was a lot of unneeded drama. Like you claimed my friend was cutting herself, you were slightly homophobic, and you didn't bother to ask us abt our other friend who actually DID cut herself. It got out of hand quickly. And then you told my friend' parents about her YouTube channel. Why, may I ask? Because she cursed? That's fine. You can't control what they do outside of their camp life. That's called freedom of speech. And she was happy, and it felt great because I'm happy when she's happy.Maybe try and not ruin people's self esteem next session.

My girls have all attended Camp Greystone for the last six years. They count the days each year until they can return. There is no better camp anywhere. They absolutely love it.

I am not impressed with this camp. I was kicked out of it when I was 10 years old back in 2006 because I was considered "weird" and couldn't find my way to some of my classes. It really destroyed my self worth when I was told that I didn't belong there.
