Donated some blankets and they were greatly appreciative... Gave us a tour have lots of animals that need homes tell me that things they could use the most was detergent and dishwashing pods... They wash everyday and food bowls... So if you would like to help by adopting an animal or stopping by and helping him with supplies they use on a daily basis

Today 06-19-23 I gave up one kitten a beautiful little boy, I have 4 big cats just gotta stop somewhere, he was place with others and was doing great so hats off to Ethan that was so helpful to me, very clean place, I feel I did the right thing. Thank you Ethan.5 stars....

Staffed by folks who really seem to care about animals. We were looking for an adult cat and were able to spend time meeting them in a free-roaming cat room where we could really see their personalities.

Sadly, had to take 5 kittens and their mom to the Yadkin County Animal Shelter today. They were very understanding and helpful. I don't know what I would have done without them. Thank you so much for your help and timeliness in the matter, it is greatly appreciated.

The shelter is a great place they do good work the animal control officers on the other hand are a joke they were called about a dangerous dog they came out did nothing but talked for 20 minutes didn't try to catch the animal at all and a week later the dog bite a little kid in the face and than they decided maybe they should catch it didn't help the kid in the hospital though but I guess it wasn't their neighborhood so it wasn't important enough to catch

Yadkin County Animal Shelter is a dog lovers dream come true!!! I went yesterday to take care of business. I met with Ethan. He's is a super nice person, very informative and very helpful. The place was clean and well organized. While I was there I was able to look at the dogs and show them some love. Of course they want to show love back... Since I can't drive, it was a thrill to get to go and love on the dogs. (Thanks to my neighbor Pam!!) Noticing all their different personalities was so cool. I saw my DREAM DOG there!!! Did not expect that!!! I only wish I could go every week to see them and spend time with them!!! THANK YOU staff members and to all the dogs there I LOVE YOU SO MUCH and pray for God to send you to the best families and homes!!!

I attended their Afoption Day Special, 12-18-21. Well organized and everyone was taken back to view available animals as stated, 1st come 1st served. I can't say enough about the staff. Wonderful experience and brought home a new feline as a new member to my family!!!

Staff is always friendly and kennels are kept clean. I take my dog to get his shots and they are great when it comes down to it. If you are going down to them make sure you call and make an appointment cause they are appointment only due to covid

A woman named Gina Chamberlain knowingly took my poor cat to the animal shelter and denied knowing it was my cat if the Yadkinville animal control shelter had not posted his pic I would never have found him. She put a trip in her yard with TUNA in it to lure him over to her property with harmful intentions the local police dept Yadkinville did nothing to help me

I have left messages for them several times. Had no choice - no one ever answers the phone. They have never returned a call to me. Such a disservice to the public and their supporters.
