This employee was rude and disrespectful to two customers while I was in the store it upset me so much that I left my items and left the store she should be wrote up and place in the back. And the bad thing about it I was told she was a manager.

Rude and disrespectful lead. 0 customer service, has a very “matter of fact” tone. Unhelpful and rude. Putting this as nice as I can and refraining from saying what she really is. This store used to be a pleasant place to shop prior to this employees arrival. At the very least this person should not be on the floor or interacting with employees.

I frequent this location often finding quality clothing and some items are brand new with original tags. It's nice to walk into a Goodwill that takes pride in their store and the items they sale. The staff are always friendly and willing to help me even though I can tell they have been stressed lately. I've seen the same at other businesses since covid due to being short staffed. I don't believe some of the negative reviewers understand the pressure that goes along with those circumstances but the employees here are doing a great job. Thank you Yadkinville Goodwill!! Hang in there and keep up the great work!!!

Treats employees very poorly. I was the only male lead associate in 2018 and was fired by the main manager Cherie Morse who no longer works for the company at all. When I asked her how my work performance was, she said everything was fine and then in my termination, presented a long list of issues she had never even addressed to me when questioned. When I went to complain to Lashaunda at HR about her treatment of me, to which even my co-workers agreed, they refused to give me my job back. 5 years later, 2023, I applied again since they told me I could reapply after a certain amount of years. Apparently, I was let go AND blacklisted from ever working at ANY Goodwill NATIONWIDE again, then they have the nerve to whine about people not wanting to work. I was so mad. Recently, after applying the second time, I was told by Michael the new Yadkinville manager that I'd recieve a phone call about moving forward. Not only had he not informed me that he'd gone in a "different direction," but the people whom we were both awating a phone call failed to call either of us. THEN, I emailed the person I was waiting a phone call from and had an answer within seconds versus waiting for a call for the previous day and a half. Mind you, I was NEVER given any explanation to any of this. Not only am I willing to work, but I live within an exceptional proximity to that specific location. And to not be hired after 5 YEARS??? No wonder they can't find any help, and above all: they don't deserve any.PS: Oh yeah, when donors gave Dollar Tree items, they jacked up the prices.

Nice friendly staff, there is a lot of nice vintage stuff where they keep the dishes, you got to know what to look for, and if you take your time there is allot of valuable clothing just waiting to be picked up, so eat well!! and when you go, plan to stay a while to find these great items , then you and your friend’s can go do dinner, lol. Have a girls day for sure.🙏👍🛒🛍🏬

I tried shopping at this Goodwill yesterday (as I've been doing for years) with my son to buy some needed clothing for him. We aren't sick and haven't been around anyone with Covid, so we didn't see any reason to wear a mask. We went in and were looking at shirts for my son when one of the men working there approached us and demanded that we put masks on. I politely told him, "No, thank you. We aren't sick, but we will stay 6 feet away from the other customers." That was when the lady behind the register shouted out at my son and I (in front of a whole line of other customers), "You either put on a mask or take your business elsewhere. That's our policy!" (Side note- I've NEVER been told anything about wearing a mask at the Goodwill in Winston that I frequent!) I guess I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. There was an elderly woman leaving the store when I did (who was wearing a mask herself) who said to me as we were exiting, "That's the last time I shop here!" So, we left and decided to visit a small Thrift store that recently opened up on Main St. We walked in, unmasked, and were warmly welcomed. She gladly took the donations I had in the back of my van and my son and I both found some things to buy. We'll be patronizing small thrift stores from now on! I guess not everyone is welcome to shop at Goodwill anymore.

This Goodwill has gone down hill dramatically. Used to have a large variety of unique items. Now the store is just old clothes. Very little in appliances and housewares electronics is practically non existent, minus a few chargers. I check back from time to time to see if anything has improved but continue to be disappointed. Staff is friendly enough, just nothing worth buying anymore. 2 stars!

This use to be one of my favorite stores but it seems most of the goodwills I’m this area have gone way downhill. I had to wait more than 10min and ring the bell 6 to 8 times to get a dressing room open. I was in a hurry and did not have much time anyway. Then the lady finally opens it and has a fit because I have more than allowed by 1 piece. I was so ticked off st that point that I just threw everything in the buggy and left with nothing. In ky where I go often all dressing rooms are left open and there is no limit so it’s just a NC thing. I think goodwill has lost a good client because the sales people are now dressing room nitzis!! If I’m going to be treated like a second class citizen I will go elsewhere!
