Called the bakery and placed an order that was to be picked up, now tomorrow, and they just called to inform me that they have nothing I ordered and never have. Although the person who took my order was so sure they did. Now my daughter will not have a cake for her birthday. And all I got was sorry yea someone should have called you already sorry. Do better foodlion or close the damn bakery!!!! BETTER YET TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!!!!!

I literally hate this store and now sadly it’s the only one in yadkinville. Lots of shelves were always empty before Lowes closed and now it’s totally bare. The employees at checkout are RUDE. When you use self checkout to avoid the other employees the attendant stands over the top of you and stares like you’re going to steal. They don’t do it to everyone either just certain people. I’ve seen them profile people based off of skin color before and it’s disgusting. I’ve seen other reviews where customers have told the managers and called corporate but neither of them care. I recommend driving to Walmart instead of going in this place.

I don't know what to say other than, i've never had such a bad experience buying groceries. If you are in the yadkinville area its worth the 15 min drive to lewisville. Terrible experience

I had an unpleasant experience with one of the employees named Candace. She was down right rude and racist. She made a remark towards me because I was using an ebt card and Hispanic. Apparently I should go back to my country. It’s appalling because her co worker she was talking to was Hispanic. So am I looked down on because I need a little government help and my skin color. Sad to say I will not be shopping at food lion. You should really reconsider your employees and train them in compassion towards people that are of other race. I was embarrassed and left, so sad I have to deal with this

Open 24 hours, easy shopping at night, not many stockers that take up aisles like shopping at night at Walmart. Seems to be improving the store lately and will soon have online ordering available will locker systems for easy pickup.

Every time I go in there it seems to be like we are being watched! On several occasions we have been targeted and many complaints but nothing was done besides sideways glances everytime my 14 year son and I go in there. It's VERY noticeable how they point out we are there shopping to the point I am willing to either go somewhere else or I can give them my list and they can shop as well as check out for me. I do anything out of my way not to shop there ever! I sincerely hope this is brought to someones attention! Seems racist not good customer service! I could say the manager weighs over 300lbs and hovers to make you feel uncomfortable as well! Good luck food lion

***revised 2/7/24. They were not as busy today. All full service registers had ppl with FULL carts. Had to use self service, which I do not like. Had to ask for help and they want to 'teach' me how to look up items. Not looking for a job....do your's please. **They had more empty shelves where ice cream should be than they had ice cream!!!! Was out of the fruits and cream Quaker Oats box instant oatmeal. Only went in to buy 3 or 4 things and they were out of two of them. Not good.

Always find the things that you can not find here in Winston Salem like the sandwich size Neeses Liver Pudding. Store is always well stocked and clean. Plenty of parking and parking spaces are wide enough to get in and out of the car with any problems.

Food Lion is my preferred grocery store. I love the fact that they are open 24 hrs a day. Because I enjoy shopping in the middle of the night when the store is quiet and it's also the only store in the area where you can find Barvarian sauerkraut. When I last shopped there I was checked out by a very pleasant cashier who greeted everyone like they were members of her family. All around good experience.

We rarely go to walmart anymore. Food lion is about 1 mile from house and is our almost daily go to place for picking up needed items for dinners or picking up my dinner for work during week. Prices are not bad certainly comparable if we consider saved time and gas from driving to walmart 30 minutes away. They not fancy like loees food publex, trader joes etc but they have ehat you need and much lower prices.

I was having trouble finding the taco seasoning as od i dont normally shop at foodlion i asked a worker that was stocking and he said that isle over there instead of telling me a number or kindly showing me i belive the name tag said jared. So impolite i had to ask another employee to help me.

I went Dec 23 (about 6pm) to get a few things (last minute) to finish off Christmas dinner.As expected, they were out of a couple things (the reason for the 4 stars), but the customer service was absolutely 10 out of 10. A young man (he wasn't wearing his name tag) helped me look for an item, even though he was not the clock, was very generous with his time, I was thankful for his willingness to help.The lady at the checkout counter let me come thru, even though I had more than 12 items, very very kind.If anyone is needing a friendly corporate store, this is the place.Thank you all so much, have a Merry Christmas, be safe and blessed!

Good place to get groceries and same value as seen on advertising.Staff is nice and courteous.I would rate this location a little higher, but my observation from at least three visits. I have noticed that this locations needs improvement in keeping store organized and cleanly stocked.

Hands down the best and most fun place to go in Yadkinville. Open 24 hours which blows my mind because most other Food Lions are not, and almost everything else in the town is shut down by 5-7pm. Except the cafes which close at like noon.The only other 24 hour business is Sheetz, which thrives exclusively due to its intermediary position between Winston and Boone, as well as the high schoolers who loiter there when their allowance won't get them enough gas money to make it to Hanes Mall.Prices at Food Lion are astronomical compared to Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joe's etc but it is the grocery store of choice for poor rural people because it's the ONLY choice without driving 25-35 minutes.If you're ever in Yadkinville, definitely check this place out, the town is so boring it shines as a gem by comparison! If you stay in Yadkinville long enough, you will find yourself shopping here at odd hours for a handful of items just to burn minutes away from your dreary, worthless life!

So it has been a little while since I have been to the food Lion in yadkinville, however unfortunately there has been absolutely no improvement. Produce was definitely not fresh. The only good point was that the shelves were not bare! Due to my payment method I had to go through a full service line, which was definitely torture!!
