The last time I went into this dollar general the workers were yelling and cursing at their manager on the phone because he/she wouldn’t give them a break and it was in front of kids and they weren’t even checking no one out and there was a line. I won’t come back to this dollar general again. Too much drama!

Stand alone store in downtown Yadkinvile that has easy access from both north and southbound lanes of US 601. Clerks in this store are normally cheerful, courteous, friendly and always ready to help you find the items that you are looking for.

Easy going nice people.Update: this store has turned into a big joke. The store is always dirty hard to find an employee and to make matters worse you never know when they will decide to close the store. So if you are like me and have to walk everywhere it is hard on yourself.

Always a very friendly and helpful staff. Never had an issue with the staff whatsoever. That's a major part of it and you can store like Dollar General or Family Dollar. Doesn't seem like anybody ever has an attitude. Stores always been well-stocked that I could tell. Great service.

I'm new to Dollar General stores and this one is one of two in my area I plan to frequent often. What a variety for a small store, great prices, and with a store less than a mile from my house, a great place for quick errands for one-off items. People are friendly, highly recommended.

Joan is the sweetest little lady and you can tell she tries her best. On the other hand Sascha the manager is the saddest excuse for a manager. The store is awful not been touched once with recovery stuff is laying in the aisles everywhere and Sascha feels the need it would be better to stand outside and smoke a cig and talk on her phone.

Store is a mess. Rude employees. When I got to the register with an item I realized it was broken. I asked my daughter to go get another. When she walked off the employee said “you need to get her to take this one back”. My reply was “It is broken, why would you put it back on the shelf?” She told me she would let her manager know that it was broken and it was on the shelf. Yeah right, if a manager cared at all about the store is ran it wouldn’t look like that. Dearest Dollar general employee I don’t work for you, restock your own broken items✌🏻

I do not go to this store often because store is messy, carts with boxes sitting around, shelves in disarray, just not clean but then, most DG's I've been in, are dirty looking. Staff is always courteous though & its easy to get in & out of.

The cashiers are often away from the register causing long lines and slow checkout. Employees carry on conversations with each other while ringing you up, often using profanity and complaining about their job. Beer cooler is near empty most days and has a very limited selection the days that it is full. Store doesn't have automatic doors, it's not a big deal but it is annoying when leaving the store with a cart. If they weren't so cheap I would never shop here. 2 stars!

I love the employees. They are always very nice and respectful. I dont like the cluttered feel of the place. But its just because they have to be able to put out new product and there isnt much room in the aisle. Very clean and fair priced items.

Great employees. I believe thet need more help. The store is busiest in county. The store can use more help. Items I needed for located in the back stock room the store needs help it's not managed properly.

Their clothing section was a mess and they didn't have a section for little boys. My son wears a size 8 and couldn't find anything past a 3t. Y'all need a bigger selection of boy clothes and the clothes section needs to be organized and not thrown every where.

Very good nice clean and the people who were working was very helpful with my question and respectful nice to talk to.I'd recommend everyone to spend money there .It's prices was cheaper than Wal-Mart.don't have everything.you would have to go other places to finish shopping but they would save money by far thank youDanny Martin

In and out fast and cheap. Quality items for the price. The closest thing to Wal-Mart for locals. Not usually overcrowded with shoppers and the checkout line is usually pretty short.

The store is in a convenient location and the staff are very friendly. However most of the time it seems the store is not organized or clean. It may be that they need more help?

Always find the best buys! Buy all our laundry needs here. The DG brands are much cheaper and just as good as the big name brands.

Store was very dirty and you could not even get a buggy through some isles lots of the shelves were empty could not even get chewing gum .All they were talking about was rats coming in the store from the field next door were they were cutting it down this is the reason I go to Dollar Tree it's always clean and has merchandise

Avoid this store if anyway possible! the worst one ever. Not just because of the pandemic it was that way before. no one to work nothing on the shelves isles blocked with stock not put up. Terrible!!

This store is always a mess. It looks like they were looted and just got their truck at the same time. Shelves are scattered with stray items and carts full of boxes always in the aisles. God forbid a person in a wheelchair or blind person had to maneuver in there.

Wonderful dollar general love the employees. They are very helpful and they try to be as fast as possible the place is just always busy and there is always a line to check out but they try to get you in and out asap

No one at checkout. Can't read the receipt. Cashier said that's how their receipts are. They can't get it fixed. WOW good thing I didn't need it for an expense reimbursement.

Dirty, never fully stocked but has 100 boxes full of merchandise on the floor. Employee's have no idea of items or policies for coupons or online coupons

Very helpful and the lady behind the counter noticed that I was wearing a Godzilla tshirt. She pointed me to a magazine all about the big G. I bought it right then and there.

This store frequently has long lines and limited change when paying with cash. Overall clean store, decent customer service.
