If you like local Merch, they have you covered. The staff is super friendly and always has provided me with excellent customer service. This Surf Shop is a must-try if you visit or live in the area.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience w this shop! Last week I placed an order for Impala quad skates over the phone (which arrived a couple of days sooner than I was told!!) and Carleigh helped me out every step of the way. She was so kind and helpful, even after I originally ordered the wrong size...I cannot thank her enough! And I absolutely adore my new skates.

The entire staff here is attentive, polite, and extremely accommodating. I went in browsing and Taylor helped me pick out a pair of sun glasses. He was extremely patient walking me through the benefits of the different brands. Taylor is a phenomenal employee and a standing example of great customer service.

This was one of our favorite surf shops we found. We went back 3 or 4 times.Their staff was definitely more attentive than any other places we went in. Easy to get a dressing room, easy to ask for help, etc.Also, they all had fantastic tans.

I have been looking for Imapala Skates EVERYWHERE for months and I happened to see Sweetwater post them!! I used to live in Wilmington and moved to Oregon several years ago, buying the skates over the phone was so quick and easy! (I was able to complete the whole transaction during my break at work.)Thank y’all for having great service even when I know your phones were ringing off the hook for this product!!!

This store always amazes me!!! I called about a forth of July bathing suit and one of the employees Kate was sweet enough to text me a picture of it before I drove all the way out to WB. I’ve never had better customer service. Thank you for always being kind and awesome! You go guys!

Expensive is all I have to say, if u don’t have the money to spend, my recommendation is just look around to see what they offer, extremely friendly employees and staff, the r 10000000000% helpful, they r willing to do what it takes to help u, they r one of the best places that have the upmost friendly employees, but like I said, keep this in mind they r extremely expensive, but the quality and quantity of things they sell r top quality, but if u think it’s worth the purchase, buy it no joke, I purchased a $200 dollar 💵 pair of Sunglasses 🕶 and they r nice! If u loose them u basically just threw $$$200 dollars 💵 away,

The worst managed surf shop in town. Their employees are 15 year olds dressed like customers, except this one old lady behind the counter who is watching you like a hawk because she automatically assumes that you’re stealing. For each customer in there, they have 6 employees sitting around. Felt very unwelcome, like I was being treated like a criminal, and when I finally went to check out the cashier was so rude I said “never-mind, I don’t want it now” and walked out. Yikes!

Best surf shop in town. My mom bought me my first wetsuit here 15 years ago, and I still get all of my supplies for surfing in NC and around the world at Sweetwater. They also have the coolest clothes, shades, shoes and bathing suits in the area. Sheldon always helps me find the perfect board (and other things) when I need a fresh one! Now, if they’d just sponsor me...😂

I rented a board from this place for 3 days and they were awesome. The staff was kind, professional, and knowledgeable on surfing, waves, gear, etc. Ricardo, Carly, Kiki, and Lydia all helped me for the week and I cannot thank them enough for making this surfing trip with my brother one of the best experiences, thank you guys:) It means a lot!

Rented a surfboard from here. The quality was awful and a fin broke off in the water, they charged me $15 for it. Will not return, aussie surf shop across the street is far better quality and service.
