This is the OG grocery store of Wrightsville Beach Wilmington area and an area icon. I have been shopping here for a very long time. When I was a kid my parents rented a cottage across the street and I use to always love going to Roberts to get snacks and then going across the street to what use to be an arcade now a bar. The produce was always so much better than the regular grocery stores. More recently several years back they remodeled and cut the store in half and the other half is a smoothie type place now.The chicken Salad is the best chicken salad period. They sale it in Harris Teeter also but it is better straight from the source at Roberts. If you have never had it before fyi the expiration date is the day of the month written on the back of the container. See pics. The store is really nice since the remodel and still has a lot of stuff. They also have seafood salad, pasta salad, potato salad, fried chicken, pre-made sandwiches, a meat counter, deli, beer cooler and another favorite of mine is the fresh made cookies near the checkout counter. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area. It is a great place to grab a snack or some groceries while at the beach.

Great little shop to buy almost anything! Cold drinks and homemade cookies! There is also a coffee place attached, looks inviting.

Excellent variety of quick groceries designed for weekend homes and airbnb.Staff was extremely polite and recognize and appreciate military service members.We did not take advantage of the homemade ice cream sandwiches, but they had a vast selection.Highly recommend over Harris Teeter 👌...

It's my favorite place to walk in the morning at Wrightsville Beach. The staff are friendly and there is little of everything. From the best chicken salad in the back cooler to wonderful books to read at the checkout.

This place is amazing, what makes it amazing is Ms. Tee! Some would say it's the chicken salad but for me it's Ms. Tee. She has been working there for more years that I can count and she makes sure you leave with a smile on your face. She is so funny and caring and remembers people for years just from their summer visits. She has her beach kids as she calls them and you can tell that they are truly like her children. She has all the answers and is always willing to help the customers. She deserves a raise!! I know I'm not the only one that goes in there just to see her because when I'm there people are always coming in saying "I just wanted to stop in and say hey Ms. Tee". So if you are ever at Wrightsville beach and just need a good laugh, go in there and I promise just standing there you cant help but laugh at some of the things this woman says. They are very lucky to have her. I look forward to seeing her every time I visit the beach.

I went in to buy a bag of ice and some woman who I'm guessing was the owner, shouted at me from across the store for going to the fridge to get one to bring to the register. "PAY 1st" ! the cashier looked as embarrassed as I was

My friend and I recently went to Wrightsville Beach. We stayed at Station One which was conveniently located within walking distance of everything we needed. We went here for a few odds and ends. They have a To Go lunch area with Boars Head products and a hot lunch bar. We got 12” subs so we could eat 6” now and 6” the next day on the beach. This worked out great and he was so sweet and helpful. He wore a mask and gloves. Wrightsville Beach is doing a great job of taking safety measures to make you feel safe. So much so, that I emailed their Mayor, Darryl Mills. I will definitely visit again next year.

Roberts has all the necessities and more for your beach trip. Always friendly when we go in for our daily stickups. Highly recommend!

They have to make their money and it isn't Walmart so don't complain about the prices. That being said nice store for getting something quick so you can make stuff at your hotel room. Great breakfast sandwiches.

If I could give zero stars I would.Extremely unprofessional & down right rude!Upon waking into the building I was greeted kindly until I mentioned in our conversation that I am a CB girl. The immature woman who calls herself Mrs. T had the audacity to reply saying that is not what they…so apparently she is speaking on behalf of everyone who lives in WB would call CB. That I wouldn’t like what she had to call it.Out of curiosity, I said what would that be?She flat out said trash beach. I’m standing there as a customer to support your store & you’re going to judge where I live? I guess you shouldn’t be selling items in your store that are made right in CB then should you?I absolutely adore where I’m from & I’m CB proud!My island is beautiful, historic, has heaps of things for families to do! We have a boardwalk, state park, skatepark, dog park, the best elementary school, best surf spots & travel by ferry. I could go on.I mean the loop must get pretty boring over there!I’ve met a lot of people from WB that come to our island. Never have I once placed judgement or insulted someone.Instead of having an argument or making a scene with this childish woman, I kept my thoughts to myself until now.I would have left the store & not purchased a single item but I promised my son I would get him a special treat. She’s awfully delusional if she doesn’t think there isn’t drug addicts or drunks on her island, it’s everywhere lady. Then she went on about CB changing their parking rates as if WB doesn’t charge if not more to park. Why does she even care what our island does if she doesn’t step foot on it, which I hope she doesn’t considering she believes it’s trash. Guess she’s worried more tourist will come to hers?We will NEVER shop at this store again!I guess the rumors are true in yuppieville.

First time in since the remodel (went to college in a different city) and it's amazing inside! It's nice to see a local place get a much needed face lift. All your essentials without the "on the beach" price increase.

Right off I'll say: the chicken salad sandwich is as great as they claim. Believe the hype!I had a somewhat curt customer service experience at the deli area. It seemed like that was just the way it is there. The front register guy was very nice, though.They have all the things you'd expect from a small neighborhood grocery store, and it's convenient for anything you might need when you get to the beach. It still feels like an immigrant-run quality service place, not a spammy kwik-e-mart kind of place.The main downsides to Roberts Grocery are: parking is scarce (look for the lot across the street), the curt employee, it's dimly lit, and a little scattered.Upsides? Convenience, they have practically everything (so much beer!), and charm.

Lovely little market right in the heart of Wrightesville Beach. They have a surprisingly nice selection of items, and are reasonably priced. Very friendly and helpful staff, too - highly recommended if you're in the area. BTW, free parking lot across the street if you're shopping at Roberts Market.

Convenient little market next to 22 North and Jerry Allens in Wrightsville Beach. Has a deli, walk in beer cooler, large wine selection in the back, snacks, ice. Good place to stop and fill up ice chest for the beach. Also, Adapt Juice Bar is inside here with delicious healthy smoothies and snacks.

We tried to buy monster energy drinks but the lady at the cash register refused to sell them to us...very disappointing. 10/10 do not recommend

Food here is great. Regular grocery items have a definite up-charge to them, but if you need it, you'll probably pay the premium.
