Love! Love! Love! Kohls Frozen Custard! So many delicious flavors to choose from! Some of my all time favorite custards are the strawberry and pumpkin pie! Their smoothies are yummy too. This is the best custard I have ever tried. The owners are also super nice good people. Kohl’s is located at Wrightsville Beach next to Trolley Stop. They have a very nice outdoor seating area. There are monthly special flavors including one called Pomeranian Pound cake(see pictures). It is great but I may be bias on that flavor. All of the flavors are awesome. The person that makes the custard here is very talented and has an amazing ability to create delicious flavors. If a flavor is called something like Twix or rice crispy treat for examples it will taste exactly like you are eating a Twix or rice crispy treat. The sundaes with hot fudge or caramel are delicious. This is a must try if you are visiting or live in the area. If you think you do not like custard try Kohl’s and you will change your mind.

I had a Hamburger and Sweet Tea for lunch today at Kohl's. They were both delicious! I had the hamburger 'The Works' minus cheese. It had ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions on it.It was a much bigger burger than I expected. When I realized that my initial plan was to eat half of it and save half of it for the remainder of my bike ride. That didn't happen! It was so good I couldn't resist eating it all.The sweet tea was great, too. I believe that they have unsweet, too, if you prefer.I had almost finished eating it when the thought of taking a photo came to me. Excuse the dirty fingernails - I had been working on the bike and my bike rack. Don't do as I did...wash your hands before eating. : )I didn't have it today but the frozen custard are delicious, too!I highly recommend Kohl's. The food and service are great.

Took the family here a few times throughout our vacation for custard and shakes and not once did it disappoint. Prices are as expected for a beach ice cream shop. Smoothies are spot on and the milkshakes leave nothing left to be desired. We will definitely go to kohl’s frozen custard and kitchen every time we go to Wrightsville beach

Matt was a very friendly and professional individual that prepared my cheese burger and fries. That burger with lettuce, onions, mayo, mustard, and pickles was sooo good. It was moist and delicious. My taste buds were very satisfied. I will definitely be going back.

We had a last minute idea to have an ice cream station at our wedding, and we’re so thankful we were able to get in touch with Matt to make it happen! He had all the details lined up and made things very easy for us. EVERYONE was thrilled about the ice cream station. We couldn’t believe that our last minute decision turned out to be such a plus for our special day. The service was amazing and so was the ice cream ☺

Just went there and they only had 4 flavors (none of which were the specials listed on their website for the week). The only custard flavors they had were vegan chocolate, espresso, taro, and key lime pie. Complete waste of a trip. Traffic and parking is completely terrible in this area so we came down here for nothing. Will not be back. If they can’t plan enough for the whole week and holiday weekend then don’t advertise it!

I love Kohl’s Custard!! Their space is so cute and welcoming, and the food is delicious! I never drive to Wrightsville aside from visiting their custard heaven, and they are absolutely worth making that special trip. The owners, Matt and Tania, are also SO sweet and invest their dollars back in their community. I highly recommend popping by and supporting this awesome small business!

New ownership has been amazing (I guess not really new anymore since it's been awhile) this is definitely one of the best burgers in town, maybe the best, and the custard is incredible too. It's a classic burger, doesn't have all the frills and doesn't need them, really fresh and delicious, some of the best food and atmosphere on WB, so many custard flavors and great people to boot.

Kohl’s has great custard and food. Definitely recommend the pork chop biscuit (as a delightful riff on a Cuban sandwich with country ham or as a build your own). The ever changing flavors of custard offers new chances to experience my next favorite. The owners are delightful. They hire positive and engaging employees. Always a great stop while at the beach.

Excellent custard! This place is a staple of the island and a must visit any time you are here. They changed to weekly flavor specials, but those are tasty and unique. They do have the standard flavors that can have many different toppings added in to make whatever you're looking for. I haven't tried the hot food yet (every time we visit I get custard) but I've heard it's so pretty good too. We stop in at least 3 times during our week at the beach each year!

Stopped by on Sunday, August 30 to try their (relatively) new breakfast biscuit sandwiches. The service was friendly and quick! I got the sweet potato thyme biscuit with a scrambled egg patty and cheddar cheese. The biscuit was absolutely delicious and fluffy and the hash brown side was great too. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced! I will definitely be back to try more of their breakfast menu.

They are the BEST!It was only 10:00 am and we wanted hot dogs after going to the beach. We were turned away from another place because of the time. We went into Kohls Frozen Yogurt and they changed the menu to lunch for us. WE GOT OUR HOT DOGS! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Sweet potato waffle fries and hotdogs! They do more than frozen custard. The frozen custard is apparently very good as people I go with rave about it while we are walking the beach eating what we got. They also serve lactose free frozen options.I like to get a hotdog and fries to go camp out on the beach with and enjoy a sunny day. Not at all expensive and very fast easy turn around. The fries aren't anything to pass up they are delicious!The owner is a hard worker and very friendly. He seems to genuinely appreciate feedback and seems to always be working on some way to innovate something better.

Went with a friend this weekend, and we got a frozen custard sundae. It was over 8 dollars, and there was hardly any custard, and maybe was less than a 12 oz cup too. It was mainly cookie dough bites, we couldn't even get a bite of custard without at least 3 cookie dough bites in the spoon...
